We were seated right away and they even have the bots that bring food/drinks to you but we were unlucky to be that table. The waitress was amazing and super helpful with the rest of our party. My burger came out regular, fries were good as well. Meatball sandwich and onion rings were standard as well. Only issue that was had was one person ordered a Philly cheesesteak that had little to no cheese on it, and when asked if a little more cheese could be put on, they remade it differently but there was still little cheese. I went here as this was the only restaurant that was opened during the week and I can spend my 50 dollar voucher. Since it was a Monday, they had some workers in training which was not too bad and was not busy that day. The sports bar is open on the weekdays from 3 to 10pm I believe and very limited on options to eat which makes sense. I had to order $50 dollars of food so here is what I got 1. Sirloin Steak 2. Pina Colada Cake 3. Club Sandwich This was $48 dollars, but definitely enough food for the night and I ended up eating the sandwich for breakfast before heading to Durant, OK. Sirloin steak was actually good and cooked to perfection. I was expecting the steak to be tough, but was not too bad. I got the mashed potatoes which filled me up. They have a robot that serves the food and I grabbed it from the tray. The only thing they forgot was the utensils for the to go for the sandwich as I needed to eat the coleslaw with, but I improvised and put it in the sandwich and ate it. Bad service, worse food and uninspired atmosphere. I get it, it's a casino restaurant but even then it could improve on all cylinders. Why does a restaurant that has a surplus of servers (all seemingly under the age of 25) need robots to run the food? I understand that the restaurant itself is pretty large but, I wouldn't think they get entirely swamped considering this was on a Saturday night when UFC were taking place at the Star Pavilion and the restaurant was crowded but not unmanageable for the number of servers. Now, I could overlook the animatronic waiter if the food the robot peddled was actually decent. But, it wasn't, it was quite bad. The flatbread pizza was anything but...the crust was puffy and slightly undercooked and definitely wasn't anything that would fit in a low carb diet. The chips served with spinach dip were overly salted and stale and the dip itself was slimy and under seasoned. Just pass. If you must eat at Ameristar I guess just bite the bullet and get reservations at the steakhouse...and that in itself isn't anything to write home about either so diner be warned! read more

We tasted the seasonal dunkel brew ... had a strong vinegar taste, no bueno. So we ordered the Dark & Blonde Ales. Blonde was decent but the beers were a bit cheap and underwhelming for such a big Corp Casino. We had the buffalo wings (heavily breaded) and the beef nachos (cheese wasn't warm). Amerisports has became a favorite hang out spot for us since they started music bingo. Every Wednesday we go there and play our game, the host is fun. We have has Jessica the last few times. She remembers our drink order and soon top of it. She even gives us a few song we don't know. She is fun and always makes us want to come back. Really decent food, especially if you're headed to a show. My friends had the pulled pork sandwich and loved it. It looked so so good. I wanted to ask them to taste it. Nothing ruins a meal like your server putting in the wrong order (she put philly, I ordered nachos) and then tried to serve it to me like no big deal. I told her I ordered nachos (after already waiting 25 min) and she said oops, let me go put that in. With two kids, this is turning into the worst time. Wow. Heard some very creepy things being talked about by the employees and management, don't feel comfortable going into it. They have fired the most friendly staff over the years, while keeping the apathetic employees who prefer gossip and are quite rude. Managers have never been helpful, food is inconsistent... I always want to like this establishment, but the way they operate frightens me and I'm hesitant to visit again. Good craft beer and my "Chef Selection" Philly cheesesteak sandwich was good. the cheese was hot so it helped warm up the flavorful lukewarm steak. Hubs got the fried shrimp platter. Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon with the wife for lunch before an afternoon at the casino for lunch. We sat at the bar the bartender was great. Excellent server suggest some great drinks. Gave us time to look over the menu and got my wife soda from the fountain instead of the bar gun. She's picky like that and she didn't even have to ask. The food was good I had Cheese Quesadillas and wife had Nachos. They tasted good but could have had less pico in the tortilla so they weren't so soggy and they could have been pressed longer to make them crispier. Technical things that I'm being picky about. Our server was male forgot his name but he said he works behind the bar also today. I ordered the 6-4oz beer sampler and he explained all of them. We ordered Mexican Corn and Queso Blanco with chips, very tasty, very good. The Fish n Chips was outstanding. The Cod was perfectly cooked and tasted fresh and very good, at first I thought they were chicken fingers by the look. Great first experience and plenty of tv's. This brewery is located inside the Ameristar casino. This is a good place to go and eat. Lots of TV and big screens to watch the game. They brew their own beers on-site. I'm not sure if management is to blame for the consistent confusion I've witnessed during my visits, but it seems like the wait staff is constantly divvying up tables amongst themselves or someone different appearing for every part of my service. The service itself has been hit or miss. While sometimes everything goes without a hitch, I've experienced the wrong order, cold food and even instance where my order was taken, but never made when I was with a group. When paying this much for alright bar food, I would expect some better service. Some things on the menu are worth your hard earned bucks, like the pretzels, nachos or chicken fingers, but the price of a burger is a bit steep for something that's not worthy of a grocery store butcher. So why do I keep coming back to this place? That's where the positives come in. It's a great place to watch sports with touch screens and monitors covering nearly every angle of the establishment. It's great to watch Chiefs games because when they start losing, you can always change the channel if you're at a booth. While I'm not a craft beer expert by any means, I do appreciate that a casino bar takes the time to craft something out of the ordinary instead of stocking up on Budweiser products. This is just based on the beer alone. After blowing some money on the casino floor I retired to the bar to wait for my wife who was still out there somewhere losing hard earned money. In any case being the craft beer fan that I am I wanted to at least try some of their stuff. First off, this place does a decent job as a sports bar. Tons of TVs everywhere. On the walls, above the bar, in the booths. This place was made to watch sporting events. So on that front they do a great job. The beer just leaves something to be desired. Here's the thing. They have their core five beers, a light, a blonde, a pale, a red, and a dark. They are just "meh" at best. To me this is a place that wants to be a brewpub and brewing beers as their schtick but in the end all they care about is pumping out cheap beer. I had both the red and the pale and they just lacked qualities that would make them memorable. The sign of a good brewpub is variety in their beer and a brewer that is open to brew what they want. A place like this that just brews five base beers is more of just a gimmick. They would be better off to skip on the brewery portion and just stock their tap handles with craft beers from local/regional brewers. read more

As with most brewpubs, I'm not a huge fan of their brewed beers, but people who know beer better than I claim it's good enough. I've eaten many things on the menu, and am a particular fan of the wings and nachos. The sandwiches I've had have always been consistently good, and the pizza is good as well. In addition, this is a good place to watch a sporting event - if the one you want to watch isn't on one of the many screens (doubtful), they also have personal screens in the booths.
