The service at this location was great and the Wednesday night special of chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy was awesome for a bar.

A decent sports bar that's a chill place to relax and watch a game. They have lots of TVs all over the place and the tables are set up pretty well for viewing. The hosts were kind, and the waitress was nice and attentive. Unfortunately, the food falls a bit flat. I got the Wilson's wings with fries and they weren't bad, but they are a bit expensive for six wings and fries. The barbecue chicken pizza was pretty dry and did not have a whole lot of flavor or texture. The other meals seemed about on par with these ones. Still a fun environment to catch up with some friends, just don't expect the greatest food.

Kylie is AWESOME! Food never disappoints!! Great daily specials!! Clean restrooms, restaurant. Service with a Smile!!

The Hamburger Is very good but the fries were not great and the ice cream too was good

If I was Dave Portnoy I'd give this a 2.0 - undercooked pizza. More grease than a middle schooler on the bus ride home

I've been coming here off and on for more than 13 years, first because it was close to my office at the time, and later as a local resident. The service and food has always been absolutely solid with great specials, especially the Chef's Tuesday Mexican special which always draws a crowd. Pizza is New York style and really great, burgers are always terrific. The chef's special on Friday is usually a home-run too. I grew up in central KS in a town of 4,000 people, and this is as much of a local bar as you can get - if you even visit occasionally, the staff knows your name and you know theirs; over time you'll meet a ton of patrons that call this place home.

It's beyond good bar food. The hamburgers are huge as are their draft beers and you can't turn your head without seeing a big screen tv.

Parking was ample outside and we came in right about dinner time. We were sat immediately and I soon had a nice red beer. The cheese burgers were the special, so I opted for one of those with fries + the "my girlfriend isn't hungry" add of a couple chicken strips and some extra fries. The burger was perfect, but I've gotta say...for being a place called *Burg* and Barrel, their chicken strips are the best. They're juicy, the breading is fantastic, and they're always just really high quality. We came in while they were starting the trivia night deal, which I couldn't care less about, but if that's something you're a fan of...it's a thing here. Overall it was just another fantastic meal at the best burger/brew chain in the KC area.

Box sizes and to-go orders don't really have a good presentation or fit with the amount of food you normally get while dining in at the restaurant. But Burg and Barrel has it down. Everything travels very well. And they are good at ensuring they have the right boxes for the right items. Venting in place to keep the fries (or tots) from steaming up and getting soggy. Boxes that are big enough for the full sandwich and a full order of fries. Snagged a beer while I waited and didn't even make it all the way through before the bartender showed up with our to-go order. Then speaking of Ambiance... we got to sit in my awesome living room and wolf down burgers and a steak salad while watching the movie of choice for the night. (Now You See Me - for those that were wondering)

The space has a really nice, open layout, and our server was fantastic and incredibly attentive. Our eyes immediately went to the shake menu, and our server was nice enough to let us split a cinnamon roll shake, serving it up in two separate glasses for us. For food, my buddy got the tenderloin sandwich. It wasn't one of those cartoonishly dinosaur-sized portions you see at some places, but he said it was really tasty and well worth it. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with garlic aioli, and it hit the spot. The burger was tender and juicy, the mushrooms were perfectly seasoned, and the bun was toasted (always a nice bonus). Even the fries were perfectly crispy. All in all, I was very pleased with the meal. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu!
