I am in town for business and went to dinner with my client at Amici's. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the ambiance was nice. I had the Chicken Piccata which was fantastic but the pizza's looked amazing. We sat at the bar where we could watch the cooks preparing food. Very clean and the presentation was elegant. We spent three weeks in Italy this summer. We loved the food and the wine. However, Amici was the equal to anything we experienced there. The food is fabulous. So was the service ( thanks to our waiter, Morgan). Frankly, most of the food on 30A is over-priced and mediocre. Amici is the exception. From the cocktails to the "warm green salad" to the beef bolognese, we loved every course. I am so glad we found this restaurant. This will be our go-to restaurant for date nights at the beach. First trip here. The lasagna was awesome, but not hot. Both my husband I would get that and ask to make sure it is hot. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was nothing to rave about; however, the marinara sauce was awesome. Lastly, it would have been nice to have had a side salad or at least an option for a side salad that was not $15. We will go back for lasagna and maybe try the pizza. We arrived for happy hour. Neat indoor/outdoor space. We sat inside. Nice table and very attentive waitress. They have vegan and gluten free options. We ordered calamari and caprese salad for our appetizer. Both were excellent. They have drink specials. $2 off wine and $1 off of beer. Plus 10% off of the pIzza. Music was very loud at first and they turned it down. As the night went on and more people arrived the music and noise level inside went up. They played 70s and 80s music. Fun vibe. One person ordered the fungi mushroom pizza and said she really didn't get a lot of different mushrooms in it. The next person ordered the chicken picatta and it was fabulous. Enough to share or take home for another day. Third person ordered the Bianca pizza. Also very good. I ordered the gluten free / Italian Vegetable pasta. It was lacking garlic. I can always use more garlic. The waitress brought fresh Parmesan cheese to the table to top but off. I ate almost my entire meal. We all will be back. We have been here a few times and it was ok, but yesterday we ordered takeout( lunch chicken parm and lasagna) when we got home the chicken parm and pasta were cold(we live across the street)and a really small portion for what they charge. Been to this place many times in the past and it was great. However, they are currently an operations nightmare. Ordered takeout from them last night, with an estimated pick up an hour later. So be it, it's a busy time of year here. When I arrived, 5 customers were standing around the Pick up counter, with no one from the restaurant helping us for over 10 minutes. My pizza finally showed up 20 minutes later, but without the salad. The salad took another 10 minutes. By that point, the pizza was cold. Until they figure out how to staff themselves appropriately, I'd avoid Amici 30A. read more

Absolutely fantastic ambiance. Had a chance to sit next to the kitchen and witness the chef making great dishes. Fun and wonderful! Waitress was knowledgeable and actually had an option about the dishes and gave us great recommendations. I tried the mushroom and cheese ravioli with caper butter and sausage. It was rich and delicious. An absolute here is the tiramisu...must try it! It's a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10 not too sweet and perfect to share. Definitely coming back! read more

Unfortunately from the beginning this place was a disappointment. The complimentary bread and oil was bland and tasteless. I ordered the signature paste and that also was bland and tasteless. Everyone in my party thought that their meals could use salt which you have to ask for since its not on the table. While our waiter did provide a discount after asking how our meals were, I wish he would have been more attentive to our table. Would have liked the opportunity to ask for salt and pepper but didn't get the chance since our waiter didn't check on us until the meal was almost complete. For the price ($70 for a family of three) I would expect a better meal. To be honest, I have had better pasta at Olive Garden. Great potential but needs a lot of work. read more

Don't let the facade fool you! I would give this restaurant one star if I could. I would rather have eaten at an Italian Panera bread, at least I would've gotten more flavor and bang for my buck. They market this restaurant as an upscale, nice Italian restaurant when really it's an embarrassment to Italian food. The prices are absolutely ridiculous. We started with the Brussels sprouts and they were actually disgusting. I truly do not understand how you can destroy a simple dish like roasted brussel sprouts. We were forced to send back the $15 dirty dishwater Brussels, something I've never done before. I got the vegan Italian pasta with the tomato sauce and the sauce had no flavor. The whole cloves of garlic in my pasta were flavorless and obviously canned, as if whole garlic cloves isn't gross enough (ever heard of chopping??). The tomatoes in the pasta were cold, an afterthought. My guest got the "Amy's famous Italian meatballs" and they were FAR from famous It tasted like they forgot any seasoning at all...just a ball of old meat. Not to mention they were chewy. Very chewy. Her pasta was overcooked and mushy, I mean really?! Pasta is so easy! Save your money, you will get MUCH better food at Olive Garden, carraba's, macaroni grill....anything. read more

When we were first seated we sat there for about 5 minutes before anyone showed up then a looked like a 12 year old boy delivers us water half filled looked like it was picked up from another table and brought to us!! He delivered it with his head down never looking up and he spilled it all over the table. Well there went that little water! He clumsily cleans it up with a towel from his back pocket and scurries off never once looking up! Well. We've been eating at Amici since it opened ...frequently...and have always loved it. One of my wife and my "go to" restaurants. We typically love it. Tonight however, was NOT what we have ever experienced before. Way over done mushy pasta and nearly no sauce on either of our dishes. Strange thing is that we both had different dishes and the "exact same" experience! Amici, you can do much better and we've grown to expect it!! Worst service ever!!! I order $100 worth of food for pickup tonight. Called beforehand to confirm how to pick up the order and that they received it. Went to pick it up at the exact time and could not get anyone to help me. There is no clear instructions on where to go to pick up the order. Tried to call once there to get help but their voicemail is full and no one answered. 45 minutes later still trying to get instructions/help where to pickup my to go order and employees being rude to me I finally was able to get my 4 pizzas. Ruined Father's Day for my dad and family as it left us upset and the pizzas cold. Not to mention extremely overpriced. Definitely recommend going elsewhere and hope for the restaurants sake they change how they do pickup orders and treat their customers. We have a home just across the street in rosemary and come multiple times a year and will definitely not be eating at this or any of their other restaurants nor recommending them as it was such a horrible experience. read more

It's a little confusing because at least during busy times the host stand outside is used for two different restaurants, one being Mexican and one Italian. I thought I was back in Texas. There was inadequate cream sauce for the chicken and spaghetti. The linguine was over cooked and the meatballs had no other taste besides garlic. Our server never asked us if we wanted another glass of wine, nor did he top off our water glasses. Finally, when I asked for some Parmesan, he brought me small packets, like you would get from Dominoes. Save your money. Everything tonite lacked flavor. The bread needed salt and some type of herb while mixing it - prior to cooking. The olive oil was also tasteless. Good olive oil has flavor. My husbands lasagna could have feed three people but again no flavor - needs herbs and ore sauce. My fish was okay but again the pasta had no flavor and was a big portion too. I would much rather have quality over quantity. It's sad when the food could have been so much better with the use of Italian seasonings and herbs - which cost so little. DO NOT EAT HERE...My family of four came here hoping to enjoy one final meal in Rosemary together, boy were we disappointed. First off, I am not exaggerating when I say we almost died of heatstroke in this restaurant. My party was stuffed in a corner with no air conditioning or a fan to cool us down in the heat and humidity. Sitting in this unbearable atmosphere, we were treated to the complimentary "homemade" bread that tasted more like cardboard than anything edible. Next was lackluster burrata that did not live up to the hype the dish had on social media. Fast forward to another HOUR later, our pasta finally arrived. Topped with a liquid that resembled soup more than sauce. Texture wasn't the only issue, we had to request extra SALT to make our entrees somewhat flavorful. Overall just a miserable experience.
