The first thing that I observed at paradis was the excellent staff and service. Menu was very unique and different from what I have seen. We started with the Rockefeller oysters which is some of the best I have had at 30A. For our main course we had the elk and filet, the flavor was excellent and well prepared with unique sauces. Our two drinks were delicious. The tequila old fashioned and lemon drop are an excellent choice. We didn't have desserts as we were stuffed but others around us orders dessert and it looked phenomenal. Overall a great restaurant read more

Great dining experience overall! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and despite having a reservation, the wait was surprisingly short. The scallops appetizer was absolutely delicious, and the steak was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor. Only downside was the menu didn't have many kid-friendly options, so probably better suited for adults or older kids. read more

We came here and had a reservation and were thankful we did. We were able to find street parking nearby, which is rare. We were seated immediately at a nice table right when you walk in and straight back. Our server was super professional and knew the menu well. The menu has good options for everyone and is mostly seafood. The atmosphere was on point and great for celebrations or special occasion. We started with the Diver Scallops and they were really good. Two decent sized scallops come in the appetizer. For my entree, I got the Cast Iron Filet and in hindsight, should have gotten seafood. My medium rare steak was over cooked and barely had any pink in it. It also wasn't very warm and the broccolini was too crunchy. The sauce and the mashed potatoes were good though, which salvaged the dish. read more

A popular spot for a reason! Outstanding service, well-crafted menu, and wonderful dishes all around. Not sure how others don't view this as one of the best around the area, but to each their own. A special treat to start is simply the bread! That foccia is unlike anything I've had before, as it was warmed perfectly with a softness that made me want to ask for another offering (but I refrained somehow). That alone sets the place apart from many others. The diver scallops are can't miss (and they didn't) as a starter, with a bit more risotto than you'd expect providing a nice nosh before the mains. The Wagu meatballs on polenta was such a treat, both light and savory simultaneously. We enjoyed, as well, the lobster encrusted halibut special ... and what a dish. The fish was so light, well apportioned, and sitting on wonderful potatoes and greens. It was my honor to eat that down to the last bite! We wrapped the birthday dinner with the banana pudding cheesecake. All there is to say is this: thank goodness I don't live closer. Amazing! read more

More dinners at Paradis, our favorite Rosemary Beach spot. Wife loves the lemon drop martinis here. Their by the glass wine selection isn't huge, but their choice of white burgundy is quite tasty. The complementary classic start of fresh focaccia with good quality olive oil for dipping is a great start. Overall, the flavors at Paradis lean towards the robust. The scallop starter is an example of that; it's quite tasty and made memorable by the delicious carrot buerre blanc. Still think their baked oyster starter is the best. I could easily down several orders with a smile on my face. The spinach salad is a classic, and plenty to share for a smaller salad course. Though personally I love the simple fresh heirloom tomato and burrata. They had a special soft shell crab appetizer. We tried both the soft shell crab and the crab cake, and the soft shell won out. The foie gras duo is fun. The pate is delicious, I didn't care for the simply grilled foie gras near as much. The pad thai shrimp is another strongly flavored dish. It has some of the classic pad thai flavors, just bumped up a few notches. The grilled shrimp were a touch overcooked. I expect it'll be the first place we book on future trips to Rosemary Beach. read more

We planned this trip to 30A to celebrate our anniversary. We chose this restaurant based on searches and reviews for a nice, romantic place. Did it feel romantic? Well, no, after having our wait staff, Ann, choke and cough her way thru the menu and specials. She disappeared for a while but came back to finish her speech. We split an Arugula salad, ordered the shrimp and grits, and fun fact - at $38 you get to peel your own shrimp. Second entree ordered was their heavily-touted $64 Cast Iron Filet, seared with duck fat, which made it crusty and overcooked. No flavor. I'll repeat that - No flavor. Mashed potatoes, needed salt, of which there were no spices on the table. Broccolini barely felt the steamer. Dining room was loud with large parties drinking and getting louder. I had really thought this would be a good meal. A nice evening out. Sorry but not worth the money. To top it off, was charged $1.00 for 2 tablespoons of extra salad dressing we requested because the salad wasn't dressed properly. Sure, I'll pay you $64 for an 8 oz steak but stick me with the steak knife for a condiment that should have had no charge. Not that we were told either. Seems petty but really a sad way to end the night. Oh yeah, thanks for not even comping a piece of cake for our anniversary. Would have been nice. Should have known by the menus statement that extra focaccia would be charged $1.00 for each person at the table. They're fond of their $1.00 charges. read more

Setting and location are great. We were seated outside on patio and ambiance was wonderful. Service was just satisfactory which was a disappointment considering past experience. When food was served the waiter never came back and asked if we needed anything or if everything was as expected. We had to find another denier to get us salt for seasoning. The Elk entree was miss cooked. It was correct in one side but raw on the other which was odd. Since we rarely saw our server, we just ate most of what we could for time sake as we were in a tight schedule. Real tragedy was one of our group got violently sick an hour after finishing. She had the barrato cheese and tomato salad and was up all night with seriously violent food poisoning we suspect No one else in group was ill and she was only one that hit the tomatoes so we surmise they were tainted. Paradis has always been a favorite but for $400 for 4 people we expected better in service and food quality. There are many other great choices in Rosemary area that we will consider. We are locals and not tourists so we sample a lot of great restaurants in the area. read more

A wonderful experience, and a perfect was to round out a great friends vacation! We had a group of 8 on a Sunday evening. We were promptly seated upon arrival (we had a reservation). We were assisted by our lovely waitress, Lexie, who quickly learned we were a fun lighthearted group. The specials all sounded amazing, and she was quick to get answers to any questions if she did not know the answer off hand. After ordering, they brought the MOST DELICIOUS bread. I had to talk myself out of a second piece, but it was absolutely divine. Our first round of cocktails arrived, and they were made to perfection. Some martinis and tequila old fashioned were big hits, and I had a wonderful Bullet Rye Old Fashioned. I mean, I was in heaven. The starters arrived, and everyone was loving them. I ordered the watermelon gazpacho, a cool soup with fun flavors of watermelon, apricot, mint, and other super good hints. Scallops were ordered, the crab cake, and tuna tar tar. The only person who did not fall head over heels was the tuna tar tar order. She said it was delicious, but slightly dry and underwhelming. The mains arrived, and I also ordered a glass of wine. I wish I remembered which one. (Note, there are not a log of by the glass wines available.) For my dish, I ordered the ahi tuna, and w-o-w. The tun was seared to perfection with a little spice, tempura broccoli, and a rice with pickled carrots. I try to always order ahi tuna, and this selection was by far on the top of my list ever ordered. I wish I would have had room for dessert, but the peanut butter creme Brulé was a hit at the table, and the Oreo sundae was also a top selection. This place is beautifully decorated and the staff were very nice and knowledgeable (although service got much slower as the restaurant got busier). However, as much as we wanted to, we just didn't really love anything we ate. My favorite thing from the whole night was their delicious focaccia. The appetizers we ordered were the crab cake--which was good and very interesting but we didn't necessarily care for it, and the beef and blue cheese tortellini which unfortunately just were not good. We all love blue cheese and it just didn't work in that dish. My entree was the snapper with the Mediterranean components. I kept describing it as....interesting...it didn't taste bad by any means but I just wouldn't say it was good. My family felt similar about their entrees, the chicken, the chefs soup, and the shrimp pad Thai. We unfortunately don't plan to return. It wasn't bad per se...there are just so many delicious fine dining options on 30A. read more

Paradis came up #1 when we searched yelp and sorted by ratings. And this rating is well deserved. Be sure to get the Award Winning filet with a black truffle rub, add the lobster tempura if available, scallop appetizer, and the key lime cheesecake is totally worth calories. The service is the best we have experienced in Rosemary or the pan handle overall. Thanks for the great evening...the only thing we didn't love was the baked oysters, but only because we are so familiar with New Orleans char grilled oysters. They took them off the bill...but that is how confident they are on their service and hospitality. Should get 6 stars...be sure to book early. Tough to get a table. read more

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a couple of weeks. You have to make a reservation a week in advance because due to the COVID, they have limited seating and get booked fast. Ambiance is very nice and you can sit outside or inside. Anyhow, we tried them for dinner tonight. Their bread with olive oil and fresh crushed pepper was delicious. The bread is very soft and fresh out of the oven. Their crab cake as appetizer is also good. As for the food quality, it's the right portion and nothing large. We ordered a bottle of Silver Oak, Grouper, steak and shrimp with grits. I forget the specific names of dishes on the menu. Everything was great except for my grouper, which was sort of bland for my liking. I needed to order hot sauce to add some flavor and spices. The service is excellent and our food arrived fast. We also tried their pumpkin soup, a special for Halloween and that also tasted really good. Overall, I do recommend this place for a special evening. read more

Honestly, this meal was one of my top 5 favorite meals of all time. First of all, the bread is so good you don't even need butter or olive oil which is dangerous. We started off with espresso martinis which were perfect. The bartender had two ways to make them and both were great. For appetizers we got the diver scallops which literally melt in your mouth and the beef and blue cheese tortellini. Our entrees......the grouper. I didn't even know I loved grouper until last night. The parsnip potato purée with the onions and roasted red bell pepper sauce was amazing with this dish. We also got the cast iron fillet with an extra side of Demi-glaze because it's that good.
