Crawfish is hot and the seasoning is spicy. Been hard to find a place to purchase crawfish so if in the area give this place a try.

Despite it was a bit expensive, we enjoyed it. The taste was on point and it did make us crave carbs with it. We ordered extra garlic noodles and some cheese bread. We liked all the seafood on there except the crab legs. The crab legs were too salty and you could tell it was previously frozen. Wish we didn't order the combo that came with it. I recommend ordering a combo with what you like and add addition crawfish, shrimp or mussels to it if you're not a fan of crab legs. It probably will be cheaper considering the crab legs were the most expensive part of the combo. Service was good, but they were super busy so we did flag them down a few times. I recommend!

Tray with everything in it! So good!

Crawfish Chef has large seating areas and was able to accommodate our party. The servers were nice and checked on us a few times, which was great because we ordered a few more pounds of shrimp and crawfish on top of our tray. Their house sauce was delicious. I tasted both the mild and hot sauce and loved them both. The restaurant is well maintained, including the bathroom. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves and will be bringing our families back here.

THEY HAVE FRESH CRAWFISH for only 3/15-17!!!!! The fresh ones which were Air-shipped from Louisiana. The 5Lb crawfish combo is only $59, my friends and I love the Lemon Pepper flavor better than the house special one. Highly recommend anyone who love crawfish to give a try. I think it tastes the SAME as LIVE crawfish which I had in China. Hope they could always have LIVE CRAWFISH It's totally totally totally different from the regular ones they sell in store which are frozen (and CHEAPER!!!)

Listen . Don't cheat on your seafood boil place. Don't get me wrong it's really cute in there. From the booths to the tables really cute. The staff really isn't that interactive (meaning) they won't really come over to your table to see if you need a refill or anything else you may need. But let's get into why y'all really read my posts: Combo 3 ( shrimp & crab) $65.00 Combo 5 ( shrimp , crawfish and crab) $81.00 Yes both come with corn and potatoes ( eggs are extra) if you want the head off your shrimp it's a$6.00 charge . After that $15.50 tax i paid a total of $170.50 ooops forgot to add 2 sodas ( and i bet you're going too be like they got apps ) WROOOOOOONG the proof will be posted below ! Let's get into the food: shrimp& crab a little over cooked . The crawfish was previously frozen. I am talking like we were fighting our food to get the seafood out of the shells. Something I've never had to do. When i mean like fight for your life i mean like it's the 4th quarter you have the ball 4 secs left on the clock. That's what i mean. I know reciepts is worth more than my word so enjoy! ( yes there was 2 of us) Food: 5.5/10 Service: 3/10 Ambiance: 8/10

Ask the Community - Crawfish Chef

Is the crawfish here fresh or frozen?

    Frozen

Do they sell just steamed shrimp by the pound?

I think everything is boiled but they had a by the pound market price dry erase board up on the wall.

We arrived around 4:30-40ish on a Sunday and we were seated quickly at the patio. They had plenty of seating in the patio and even had umbrellas in case the sun was too much. Luckily it was the perfect weather with a nice little breeze. The hostess offered us waters for our dogs and even asked if they needed one or two bowls. We opted for two bowls just in case as our male dog drinks a lot. We love that the menu was concise and that they had their specials on a little display on the table. I decided that I wanted to try out more of the menu and orders a strawberry lemonade, steamed clams, Bang Bang shrimp, bowl of clam chowder and a S'mores cheesecake to share with everyone. For the entrees, we ordered two of the smoked seafood fettuccine, kickin' chicken burger, and the Connecticut lobster roll. It did take some time for our entrees to arrive so I'm glad I bought the appetizers as we were hungry. However, the drinks were all refreshing and the food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. My only gripe is that the coleslaw was a bit off for me but at least I know to get fries or another substitute. The cheesecake was also a good size and I love that they toasted the marshmallows. Everyone, including the birthday boy left full and satisfied. I also was able to use their new Toast reward system with no issues. Our server Dallas was very professional and friendly with us. She would check in at appropriate times despite how busy the patio was getting. She even handled an extremely rude and entitled guest with precise professionalism.

The restaurant is clean and tidy with an organized and cozy atmosphere. The tables aren't crammed together and it's not crazy loud at this time of day. However, I think it would be loud on a packed Friday night and getting a wheelchair or a person with mobility problems into a table that's not on the outside of the aisle would be difficult. City views are great. Probably very pretty at night. Waterfront views are decent, boasting the bridge and beautiful city that lies beyond it. Service is cordial, but not overly friendly. We were greeted immediately upon arrival inside and promptly after we were seated. Seating took about 7 minutes from arrival time and water was brought less than 5 minutes from being seated. We were served by Lavetta and she was absolutely amazing. We ordered the Maine lobster roll and subbed clam chowder as a side for $5 extra. At $37 a plate I had high hopes. We also ordered the seafood dip and two pops. The lobster was stuffed to the gills! It looked very mediocre until I bit into it and realized how much meat was in that little roll. The bread was warm and the lobster perfectly dressed. It wasn't drowning in mayo or soggy with filler. The seafood dip was creamy, flavorful and cheesy. It comes topped with chives, a cute halved cherry tomato and a fresh, warm, crusty baguette. The clam chowder is rich creamy and THICK, but came lukewarm. No clue what their hot holding temperatures are, but this was not giving "fresh from the pot" vibes. With the tip, we got out for about 85$. Pretty pricey but the portion of lobster was worth the price.

The fried zucchini were prepared in a manner that we haven't seen before - long, flat pieces. Excellent! My wife had the Sloppy Joe - and she couldn't have been more pleased. Seasoned to perfection. I opted for a Wedge Salad, which was another item prepared in a way I hadn't seen before either - it wasn't a big rock-like salad, it was sliced and laid sideways. Perfect. and with lots of bacon! Came here per their suggestion, because I'm a food snob, and I'm glad we did. Cool little place, super clean, nice decorum, yada yada yada. Our server was Jessica T. I am very neurotic, and she was very patient, and even engaged in back and forth banter. She came to take our drink order, and if you know me, I always have a lot of complex requests. I started off ordering a boring vodka and soda, but then switched it up to cucumber vodka with muddled lime and mint with soda. Visibly and vocally unperturbed, she took my order along with my counterparts. The bartender whipped me up a couple of those bad boys and let me tell you, it was refreshment level: EXPERT. And props to the bartender, whom I thanked on the way out. After I drink order, I started ordering all sorts of ish. We had, an order of grilled sourdough, which was phenomenal and I'm actually going to start making that at home, if I ever get there, me and my (non-romantically involved, strictly platonic cuz I don't swing that way) partner both had the Cavatappi Ragu, and his wife had something with meatballs, that's all I can really remember. Man, even a my standards the food was so good. I'm very grateful that my folks picked up the check, and I feel bad because I ordered so much stuff, which I wasn't expecting because I went Ham on the menu, but damn man.... I think you can actually eat cheaper at a comparable restaurant in LA... Prices were pretty high. Even for me hahaha BUT all that being said, the next time I come see these clowns, I want to go back! As for the ambiance, it is just a small restaurant that is primarily take out but they do have a small table and also a counter to put on hot sauce(s) or seasoning salt. They also have a bunch of community posters and pictures of current events and community people throughout the restaurant. It's clear that they love the community and the community loves them in return.

We were the only people in the dining room for lunch the entire time until our last 10 mins. This restaurant is inside a casino in Fife. Parking is interesting, and the casino itself is in the middle of a reno so it looks a bit messy but otherwise it is fine. Kudos to them for trying to make the outside section nice because the view kind of kills it. Pros - it's a very nicely designed space. The hostess and our waitress were so nice and welcoming, even giving me a stool for my bag (and it wasn't even my fanciest bag lol!) Overall, the restaurant is nice, the food seems to be mostly fresh and good quality and service was nice. I actually quite enjoyed my ribeye, despite our broccolinni having no almonds, as stated on the menu. My affogato was good, and the cake frosting and flavors were good. Cons - I say these with love...but we both feel the kitchen was not up to par, or the main chef was off, or something happened because there were quite a few mishaps during our visit. The appetizers were good, but the scallops needed salt and I would not pair them with pineapple, personally. The calamari weren't the most tender, and the breading was interesting - it's definitely not your typical breading, it suited a fish and chips dish better. The sweet and spicy sauce served with it is from trader Joe's...I know because I've bought it before, so I don't believe it's house made. Like I previously stated, the broccolinni was missing the almonds, and the carrots on the side that I ordered for $13 were so embarrassing that the waitress came back after serving us and told us that she spoke to the manager and got those off our bill. That's how ridiculous they were, so thank you to her for having good values at work. While I liked my steak, it was very, very fatty, and my husband asked for medium rare and definitely got medium well. Lastly, the pink champagne cake was disappointing, not because it was yucky, but because the cake itself was clearly days old, and had been freshly frosted. It was tough, dry and stale, while the frosting was fresh and light. Overall, I can see coming back but I'm in no rush due to the price/location/overall food.
