My name is Shannon Parson Johnson, My father William parson was able to pass away with dignity and…read morerespect, I cannot say enough about the incredible care and compassion this hospice team provided for my father. Their whole demeanor and attitude is that of angels, compassion, empathy, love..When he was in the hospital, he was not receiving the proper pain management, they kept delaying the hospitals hospice program while my dad was dying in pain. I was desperate to get him home. Alena, the administrator, moved mountains to make that happen. They got my dad home in less than 18 hours, they were by my father's bedside within two hours of me calling desperate for help, which felt like a miracle during such a difficult time. Daniel, the nurse who came to the hospital, was so attentive and caring such a such a genuine person. And once we were home, nurse Julie and nurse Grace took over and truly went above and beyond. They made sure the bed oxygen tanks supplies and meds was delivered before my dad even got home. They made sure my dad was comfortable, out of pain, and surrounded by dignity and respect--something he was not receiving in the hospital. there was also a Sweet CNA that came to help as well, Because of them, my dad was able to pass peacefully at home, just as he deserved. That means everything to me my father and our family. All of my father's friends and loyal family were able to come visit with him before he passed the next morning.. I highly recommend this hospice agency to anyone going through end-of-life care for a loved one--or even for themselves. Don't wait until the last minute. Have this hospice team set up ahead of time--you will not regret it. They are truly angels doing God's work. Shannon Johnson-parson

My family decided that my Dad required hospice care towards the end of his life and we chose…read moreLifeChoice for that need. We were assigned Emily as our case manager and she was great to work with. However, we interacted the most with Grace who was on-call at the time we engaged them and helped my Dad a good bit during his last couple of days. Grace was super patient with us when we asked lots of questions about his care and hospice in general. LifeChoice also provided a rabbi for us and I think my father really appreciated that the rabbi visited with him for over an hour. I think they provided my father a lot of peace and comfort during his final days. My only regret was not engaging them sooner. Thank you LifeChoice for all of the help you provided my father and our family.

I would never recommend this facility to anyone who actually cares about their loved ones. Staff…read moreand residents alike call it the "Tower of Hell," and sadly, that name fits. The building is filthy. There are ongoing infestations of ants and roaches, and the water often comes out brown. The food served to residents is disgusting and clearly not prepared with health or dignity in mind. The facility is constantly understaffed and severely under-supplied. There are not enough basic necessities like diapers and washcloths, to the point that residents feel forced to hoard supplies just to make sure they have something for themselves. Clothing regularly goes missing and is never recovered. Management is completely absent when it comes to protecting residents. They do nothing to prevent abuse, and concerns are ignored. It feels like management only cares about lining their own pockets rather than ensuring safety, cleanliness, or humane care. I have personally witnessed feces on the floors, blood left uncleaned, and a total lack of urgency or accountability. Even more disturbing, sexual abuse allegations are not taken seriously. This place strips residents of dignity and safety. Families deserve to know what really goes on behind these doors. Please think twice before trusting Tower Hill Nursing Home with anyone you love.

This was sent to Dr Kapur, the medical director and she never bothered to answer. "Dr Kapur, On…read moreyour YouTube video you preach that you believe in Comfort, non-pharmacological, music therapy, integrative based modalities, allowing patients to be more wakeful towards end of life and working with an educated staff. Below has been our experience since you took on our Mother's care: Comfort versus curative... has not happened. Non-pharmacological anxiety modalities should be used... has not happened. Music has been known to help mitigate the anxiety and dementia patients... has not happened. Integrating these evidence-based modalities... has not happened. Allowing patients to be more wakeful during the end of life versus giving them sedating medication... DEFINITELY has NOT happened. Working for a company that is obviously knowledgeable and educated on it, yet your RN Kelly has not implemented any of those modalities. Those are all your words above and yet not one of them have been implemented or witnessed by our family. Mom has not eaten in 6 days, has little to no fluid intake, is stating she is in pain. However, your staff has debated if this is her cancer or her dementia? Why should this matter? If she states she is in pain, yells out while being transferred then why have you not managed this? They come drag her, while in a chemical sedation, to shower her twice a week! Why? They are transferring her from her bed, to the wheelchair to the toilet, all while she is yelling in pain. You have taken an oath to do no harm, yet our Mother was harmed and continued to be harmed. You and your staff killed her months before her time. Her blood is on your hands. Our family will never forgive or forget!

We begged for morphene to help with his pain and ease him through the final hours leading up to his death. They would NOT give him any morphene or other pain relieving meds. Please never ever use this organization. They will make the agony of your loved one's death something you will never forget.
