Finally got around to check out Amor Eterno and glad I did. Located in South Town, this small, intimate bar is a hidden gem. Parking is limited but what else is new in STown so plan accordingly. The inside has a few booths and bar tops to post up at after you order your drinks at the bar. No food is offered but they do have a live DJ and last night DJ NatVillian had it going on playing 90s R&B/Hip-Hop classics. The crowd was of all ages and the vibe was chill....no drama. The bartenders and staff were friendly and they made good drinks. Overall, I really enjoyed my first time here and look forward to coming back. The food is the only reason I would even consider coming back, but it's overshadowed by poor customer service and an atmosphere that feels more interested in gimmicks than genuine hospitality. Amor Eterno is a nice and intimate bar located in Southtown. This bar is located right behind Bar America, across from Rosario's. They have a wide selection of liquors and the mixologist can prepare anything you want. For my first time here I ordered an espresso martini, and it was absolutely perfect. They don't have a lot of sitting space, so keep that in mind if you are coming with a large group. Overall, the service was great and everyone working at Amor Eterno was excellent. okay, i will give good reasons why im giving this place 3 stars, but i genuinely do love the vibes and ambience! It's absolutely GORGEOUS in this bar. So romantic! Make you want to stare at your boo all night long and just be in love. However, what set me off was how expensive the drinks are and how weak they are! We spent about $24 for 2 very small cocktails and my bf and I didn't even taste any alcohol... it just seems like a waste, we would of love to just get a lil buzz in. However, if you want a cute night out with your boo, i recommend, but maybe pre-game a bit before. This bar is kinda hidden on a side street in South Town. It's very unique because of the softcore adult time playing on the television. The bar had a DJ playing some good music and the drinks were tasty. My first drink was the Noches De Amor. It's a nice and refreshing strawberry cocktail. My second drink was the Agua De Isla cocktail. It's a tequila and mezcal cocktail with pineapple. It's pretty good. The bartender was very friendly as well. I finally had the chance to visit this bar after months of seeing buzz about it on social media. I came on a Wednesday night event called Wet & Silky. It was a dj set with dancy/r&b sounds all night til 2 am. The ambiance is so snazzy. The lounge area, lamps, tucked away booths, retro neon lights, and low lighting makes this bar perfect for an intimate night. There is a dance floor too for those that like a little bit of groove too. The cocktail menu Is stacked! I had 4 different drinks throughout the night and all of them had good taste and presentation. I think what really tied it all together was the music. The DJ's were spinning wax records which I think added to the bar's authentic charm. Eternal Love! This place is a great southtown hidden gem. It's in the spot behind Bar America, in an old house that looks to be super old. The bar has a big ramp that leads up to the big open interior. This bar specializes in cocktails- they have a limited selection of beers- Lone Star, Dos XX. But their tequila and mezcal drinks are what I like about this place. They take their time pouring a paloma blanca and have a few different types of mezcal. Their espresso martinis are made in a big pitcher with previously brewed espresso and fresh coffee beans on top. All of the drinks are mixed up with care and pride. The DJs are the most fun thing about this place. they have lots of local and psychedelic music that jives with whatever kind of weird stuff they throw on the television sets. There's a dance floor, and lots of places to sit inside and out on the patio. The whole place has a cool vibe, like going over to someone's house and drinking with a speakeasy in the corner. The neon signs give off a warm glow and the music is always on point Parking can be a challenge around in here. This is the coolest, latest hippest spot I have found in MANY months. It's a small intimate restaurant/bar. Great people, the bar tenders are soooo good. Fancy drinks and not even that expensive at all. The waitress was very sweet, recommended lots of yummy things on the menu that me and my boyfriend never tried. We have since been back at least three times and will continue to come back! The bouncer in the front was super cool and attentive as well. We LOVE this spot! I went to Amor for the first time about 2 weeks ago with a cousin of mine and was absolutely pleased with it. The ambiance of this tiki bar was fabulous and is the perfect fit for southtown san antonio. The bartenders were well versed and mannered and the dj there that night was playing all the good tunes! Given that it is a tiki based speak easy, the drinks are more cocktail focused than a typical bar with an extensive beer selection. It is a bit smaller inside and out given it was once a small coffee shop, so be prepared to not find too much seating if you go later into the night. Aside from the seating, it is a great place to go with a couple friends to have some cute & tasteful cocktails, socialize and have some great photo ops.
