The Dello Chef salad with grapes, pears, and Gorgonzola was big enough to share as an appetizer.

We met friends for dinner at Teca in West Chester. Although we've been to the one in Newtown Square, this was our first visit to their West Chester location. We liked the darker, pub-like decor of this one more than the one in Newtown Square, especially since we were seated in a booth away from the bar. It was noisy but not so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. Service was on the slower side maybe because the restaurant was busy. My husband and I shared the Dello Chef salad with crumbled Gorgonzola. It was a good size for sharing. For the table, we also ordered one of their huge meatballs which was one of the best we've had. As an entree, I had the Linguine Allo Scoglio with mussels, clams, calamari, and shrimp. I was happy that they didn't shy away from a little heat as the dish was topped with a slightly spicy San Marzano tomato sauce. It was hot and delicious, and I ended up taking some of it home. My friend liked her Gnocchi Pomodoro, and her husband said the Chicken Parmigiana was equally good and filling. Both left with leftovers. My husband liked his lasagna too which arrived in a mini pan. Overall, it was a satisfying and delicious dinner, and none of us walked out hungry.

Seasonal special goat cheese ravioli with chicken and cranberries- excellent!

We made reservations for Teca during a West Chester downtown event and open table said they had no availability. Called the restaurant and they got us in before the dinner rush. We went and were seated right away and the place was busy. We ordered the special ravioli and it was awesome but the gnocchi dish was just ok. They do not bring you bread unless you ask. Many people get drinks and eat at the bar. Our server was great! This place may be better during the summer when they have outdoor seating.

I always enjoy Teca. Impeccable service; Katie was impressive being able to go through all of the special. My salmon wrap was delicious along with the figs. Great lunch. Last few days to sit outside.

Great location in downtown West Chester. Tons of outdoor seating which is perfect for a cool summer night. If you like wine, this place is for you! They have an entire menu boom of just wine; I've never seen so many wine options before. I had The Bitter Man drink which was delish. It tasted like a Manhattan- Old Fashioned hybrid. It was smooth and strong with just a hint of sweet. Highly recommend. The starter hummus plate was a great start. I loved the roasted peppers with it. Everything on the plate was very fresh and flavors were perfectly complementary. The lobster ravioli were delicious. I was very hesitant to get them but am so glad I did. It was creamy and very savory without being overwhelming. There were big chunks of lobster in each ravioli.

I guess I have a love-hate relationship with Teca. I do like the vibe and the outdoor seating. And I will say that their wine by the glass selections are typically outstanding. Stopped in last night to have a quick bite before the show - we got the cheese and the charcuterie boards. I will tell you that for the price both of them were lackluster. Not awful but simply little imagination - the charcuterie board Was more like cold cuts. The part that really got me was the very slow service. We waited almost 40 minutes to get what should've taken maybe 10. The social scene here is good, just wish they could maintain some type of consistency in the service and food department.

Stopped in on a very rainy Saturday night and was not disappointed! There was a private event going on upstairs and the dining room was quite full,, but we were able to sit right away with no reservation. We were seated upstairs in a separate room with no other people in it. By the end of our dinner, other people were in the room but it was a bit awkward. All the staff we talked to were very nice and accommodating. We got the burrata (recommended by waiter) and Calamari di fritti for apps. They brought out bread and olive oil too. We got the tortellini special, lobster ravioli and rigatoni for our entrees. All was delicious! I also got an orange martini, which was very good. It is a bit on the fancier/ more expensive side for downtown west Chester, but I didn't feel underdressed wearing ripped jeans. This was a great dinner spot!

Everyone loves Teca, it's a West Chester staple. The staff is almost always professional and the food is phenomenal for the area. We've also had several events here including a large gathering where we rented the entire side room. All great experiences. Tonight we went for post COVID outdoor seating and it seemed super safe but also good vibes.

Interesting to read some of the reviews here and I respect everyone's experience and opinions. Definitely sorry to read some of the encounters with apparent ownership... Our visit was the first for all of us, an indoor booth of 6. Cassandra could not have been nicer or more attentive and accomplished. She took great care of us. Our seating was 4:30pm on a Saturday. The outdoor sidewalk/street setup looked great too but we opted for indoor reservations due to possible weather... Drinks were great, tap beer was tasty, wine by the glass started off well and evolved into a bottle for table. Hummus, grilled octopus, bread and mozzarella started us off. The hummus was wildly great! Veal chop, lobster ravioli, NY Strip (with mushroom/gorgonzola), rigatoni, lasagna, all fabulous entrees. The tiramisu to finish was exceptional. One chocolate cake made an appearance as well and disappeared too. I know there are a lot of choices in West Chester, we were visiting, this choice was made for us; it was a good one! Thank you again Cassandra for taking great care of us and serving up a 5-star first experience!

This is a really good restaurant and the service is incredibly attentive and friendly (5 stars for the staff) but the food was not knocking my socks off! The bruschetta flavors were interesting and worth trying (honey lavender was what we went for) but I wished the bread was toasty; it felt like a fresh sliced loaf. Also had the app with the fried tomato and mozz which was good but nothing special. We also shared the bucatini which was very good I will say but had a robust tomato sauce that I know some like but I discovered I didn't. Atmosphere was fine, it was happy hour and the bar was crowded which I came to learn was because the happy hour specials are only at the bar. Would I return? Perhaps to try something new but the prices were rather high for the quality of the dishes so I would have the think about it.

The dirty martini was described as "filthy" which was actually very funny, but not exactly what she was looking for. The other cocktails were fine and the food was mostly very good. The main weak spot food-wise: shoestring french fries served with the burger were ice cold. Otherwise everybody enjoyed their meals. One bonus of this place is that they serve a lot of gluten-free options and have a very diverse menu.

The bartender at the time was particularly very friendly and I could tell he gave off the same vibe to everyone. As I left this bar with a friend, one of the (assumedly) local patrons was telling us we should've purposely nudged a guy seated so that we could more easily leave the bar instead of slowly crossing over. That particular patron looked back at the first guy very annoyed. The first guy was probably already at least semi-drunk and just kept trying to go on with his "joke". Another thing that surprises me is that this bar is closed all day Sunday and that they open at 8 AM according to the Yelp page and stay open until 2 AM. Those are mad hours This coming Sunday, there was a big game with Eagles versus the 49ers. I've never heard of a bar open so early in the morning and not open on Sundays. Not open on Sunday because a lot of regular church-goers in the area, or the staff need a break and maybe they would want to go to church? Reminds me of Chik-Fil-A without the super late hours and instead of family friendly style food and drink and chicken icon, booze instead. There were no smokers when me and my friend were there. I was thankful for that. It looks like PA started to ban smoking in all bars in 2021. Personally, don't miss it! I already have a hard enough time breathing and sleeping without being around that stuff! No food at this establishment. Quality drinks on tap and reasonable prices. Nice staff. First, my girlfriend and I arrived to the restaurant. We requested a specific table, and the host was gracious enough to do so. We then waited 8 minutes before our table was even touched, and it was just our (server? No intro, nothing) ASKING us if we'd like water. We say yes, and then waited an additional 5 minutes just to receive water in PLASTIC cups. Again, this person never told us his name, and we weren't even sure if he was taking our order or not. He appeared to be about 18, and was most certainly high Then, we requested glasses, and since it had been 15+ minutes since we sat down, said we were ready to order when we got the glasses. The guy took our order. We both got cocktails, which also took about 10 minutes. Finally, our appetizer came. We weren't even halfway through before the entrees came, we probably had about 10 minutes to finish it. This all could have been negated if our order was taken correctly, and things could have been staggered correctly. The "two bite" check occurred within 30 seconds of our food being dropped, and by then I hadn't even touched my food. It was way too early and felt like he was just trying to get it out of the way. At that point both my girlfriend and I were just ready to eat and we said everything was fine. I had to ask the guy for a bag on the way out, rather than him giving me one after our food was put into 3 boxes. I want to be empathetic of whatever was going on at The Social that Sunday. Yet, if you are going to make your steak $42, the service needs to justify that price. I will not be going back to The Social, and encourage their management to speak to their server who flubbed the ENTIRETY of my experience there. Myself and my girlfriend both work in the service / restaurant industry, and we know what good service is. We also understand that there are bad days. This was just abysmal. 4/10.

The tables are proportioned about well and love the long bench seating opposed from the kitchen window. Decor is tidy and of modern aesthetic ocean vibes. Everything complemented, including the floor pattern - which I obsessed over, lol. Absolutely adored the built in and all the nautical knick knacks. Our waitress was a doll. Charming, attentive and spoke with great eye contact. We decided on eats and a mid morning cocktail. I had the standard espresso martini and my husband tried one of peanut butter variety. Both deep in espresso flavor and not too sweet. Oysters to start. A half dozen of 3 varieties. So wonderful to be able to select a few kinds to sample. We enjoyed them all. Very clean and super fresh. My husband loves horseradish, so it was so nice they offered their standard cocktail sauce with extra. The mini Tabasco sauce we had to take home as memento. Brunch entrees- my husband went part poultry and I kept true to seafood. He had first the Clam Chowder. Lumps of clam and a mid-cream broth. Nice balance of stock and cream. Potatoes did not overtake. This was light but hearty. He dove into those Chicken and Waffles with delight. A savory waffle - how can you not love. And the honey jalapeño butter, I found as much as I could to dip into. Chicken was most and crisp. Hitting all the texture and flavors- sweet, spicy, crunchy with this dish. Delicious. Now my Lobster Roll- LOBSTER!!!! This was incredible. I ate the whole damn thing. The roll was toasty and buttery. The lobster was juicy and plentiful, it was allowed to stand on its own. Didn't push up on too much mayo, or celery, or tarragon. Let the seafood shine - and it did!! The fries were hand cut, and freshly fried. Only critique was the slaw. It was just there. Would recommend to nix it. It didn't add to the dish. This Lobster Roll I will keep in my thoughts of how I am now tainted against all others. Wonderfully done. We cannot wait to venture down again and experience more of their menu. Ahoy!! Come here to eat! King of the Sea in the Dub C!
