BEWARE!!!!!! First I would like to say that this is not how you treat your old time customers!!!! We have been customers for over 20 years. This company use to be all our appliance services needs but now I don't trust them in my house! I called in June 2024 to see how much is it to fix my 45 year old dryer. All she needed was a new lint screen and the lint vent grill ( I have a 1980s Maytag Metal Beige Washer & Dryer) Thankful my family and I have been able to keep them up to date so they can last this long. We called and we had a technician come to the house. He told us that he can try to fix it we said ok. Later that night we texted saying we decided not to go with the repair and if he can just reinstall the old piece he took out. Well that wasn't the technician thought. He decide to take the piece with him and throw it out!!!!! I know the dryer needed to be replace because of her age. BUT THAT DOESNT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO TAKE A PIECE AND DESTROY MY DRYER COMPLETELY!!!!! She was literally still working and because you removed a piece now they whole machine doesn't work. I talked to Jason and he told me that they can fix my AC. We got a quote in December 2023 for an AC control panel from this company and we decided to go with this repair in June 2024. IN OTHER WORDS NOTHING GOT FIXED. I had AMPM come out and again TRY to fix it. Well they charged me for other piece that didn't even fix the problem. Then they left, I tried to turn off my system and now I couldn't do that either. I called and the receptionist was like "Well its hot in the house so it should cool down." The next morning I called Jason and no answer. Had to call another company to come and install a new machine. I was not going to waste anymore money on a company that is gonna treat me like shit after call them FIRST all the time.!!!! To be honest I would think twice before calling this company. I can not believe the "service" I got from this company. To start off, this is the second time I used this company. The first time I called them was in June 2021 for my fridge and they were able to come out and do the repair with no issue. Fast forward to this experience, HORRIBLE! I called and spoke to the Manager Jason, who said he's the owner, after investigating the company - he's not. He had a tech come out and address the issue (with the same fridge they had previously repaired the year prior). At the time the tech collected $200 for both the inspection and the speciality part that was needed. The tech said it would take time to come in and unfortunately, at that time we were going to be leaving so our place could get other repairs/remodeling done. That unexpectedly took a month, I say this because when I called Jason back to schedule the repair he said it wasn't a issue. I asked multiple times if he had the speciality part ready so we can have repair done. He assured me he did and booked my appointment. Mind you, all of our interactions are done via text as he mentioned he was the only one in office since he was short staffed. Come to find out when the tech is at my house over a week later, he had the WRONG PART. The tech then said it wasn't his fault and he can order it again and it will come in 3-4days! I called Jason while the tech was at my place to inform him of this issue, he couldn't care less. He literally said "Look i'm going to be straight up with you, this is your F*** fault you took over a month to get back to us" THEN I asked him for a refund and told him that this is NO WAY to speak with a customer. He said you're not a customer you're a refund!! THIS IS A DISGUSTING WAY TO SPEAK WITH ANYONE DOING BUSINESS especially in his position. His tech then told me it would be longer than the 3-4 days and he could come back the following week to finish the repair. Our washing machine gets a lot of use, and when it started leaking, we called AMPM. We have called them for help with repairs for many years, and they often send a technician out on the same day. They did that today. Vince was the technician. He tested the washer and said there was no leak. I told him I had cleaned the lint filter yesterday, and when he checked it, he told me I hadn't tightened it enough, and that was where it was leaking. We were relieved that it was not an expensive repair. He only charged us for a service call. It is so refreshing to get an honest technician! Vince was professional, efficient, and courteous. I was concerned that the outer area separating my GE Fridge and Freezer had become very HOT to the touch. I looked for repair services and after a couple feeling unimpressed with, found AM/PM. Jason answered the call immediately, found out my issue and looked to schedule service for the next day, between 3:00-6:00, with Technician, Kevin. While I was preparing for my visit, I got a call from one of the girls to say they were "running early", and if I would l like, they were available sooner, before 2:00. Kevin then called to say he was out front, finding parking. After we greeted, he went right to work to determine the problem, pulling fridge away from the wall. He then showed me how, with the lower, back panel removed, the dust and hair that had collected inside the unit. (Eek!) I had read there is a fan that could cease rotating, but being reassured that the fan was functioning, he did vacuuming and chemical cleaning, replacing screen. (He was patient enough to allow my cleaning of floor beneath fridge, prior to moving it back). He showed me what the normal temp of the area concerned with overheating SHOULD be, which was now only mildly warm. He discussed how, if having pets (I have one), more hair and dust can develop anywhere, being a pet owner himself. Since being unable to easily move fridge, getting down behind it to remove screen and clean out this area myself, I am appreciative for help with such a task and very pleased with Kevin's friendly, knowledgeable approach and demeanor. This place was great! Lower price than others for the diagnosis. Larry quickly identified the problem. Clearly explained the issue. Found the part and supported the total cost to repair within 30 minutes. The part to fix the refrigerator was a discontinued part but he was able to find a compatible alternative and was able to pick it up within a day and returned the next day and installed the part and the fridge is working like new. On top of that, Larry cleaned the dust around the coils and cleaned provided a light service on top of the main repair. Jason and Irene within the office were super responsive and supportive of getting the job done quickly also. Super happy with this company and especially Larry for going above and beyond to fix and maintenance my fridge. If I could give a 0 star review I would. This company came out 3 or 4 times, billed us each time $300+, and failed to fix our refrigerator. The 4th time we called, they said they'd come out, but ghosted us. We didn't hear from the Jason until he called us two weeks later, asking us for money. Every day our fridge was down cost us money, so much in lost food, and in stress. Luckily we were able to find another company (Allsafe appliance repair) who were cheaper, faster, and politer (one of AmPm's workers called my wife a "crazy lady"). Unbelievably unhelpful, do NOT recommend. Way better options for a better price. read more

On Sunday - 10/06, my cooktop stove (which has been in use since the Carter Administration!), shorted out midway through cooking dinner,,, Turned off the gas and made other dinner plans. First thing Monday morning I called a recommended repair service in the Valley. Soonest they could assist would be Friday - 10/11! Ah, no - not eating takeout for a week. Went online and found AMPM Appliance Services. Young Lady who took my call (Hailey or Maria?) said a technician would be available at 2:00 P.M., that day. Much better. Jeff showed up at 2:00 and immediately identified a shorted burner. He called and found a replacement part, disconnected the bad guy and advised he would return when the part came in. Thursday - 10/10, Hailey? called and advised a tech was in the area w/ the part and could install within the hour. Again, Jeff showed up promptly and replaced the master switch for all four burners. My fridge broke down so called them to see if they can help me out. This technitian who can't speak english came out and checked nothing but freon gas level. He didn't even bother to open the back cover to see where the gas leak is. And guess what he gave me a estimate of $1500 for the parts he didn't even look at. I am giving them 2 stars because they did come 3 times and were timely. I called them for a broken dryer, they said they repaired it and charged me $300. It didn't work a week later...They came back and the same guy said "it looked fine". Did laundry again and it still didn't work, called him back and he said $300 more to fix it again...That would be $600 for repairs when I could buy a new one for the same money. I called again and asked for a second opinion..They came again and this time it was a different guy at my request. He wanted to charge me another $365.00 but said he wasnt sure the repair would hold. Thats $665.00 for repairs, I declined and wasted $300 on a dryer that I had to recycle so it cost me $1,000 for my trouble but I have a new dryer. BE CAREFUL! Yesterday morning I woke up to my ice in my freezer (Kenmore fridge) totally melted. What a way to start the day, am I right? I panicked and flew to yelp. Our refrigerator started acting up and making a huge noise so I called AM PM. I expected it would cost a fortune to get it fixed. Larry came out right away and ran a couple of error codes. He recommended defrosting it and seeing if that solved the problem. If not, it might need new parts. He charged $65 for the consult and said that if we needed further work on it in the next 30 days it would be deducted from the cost of the service. We defrosted it and it worked for another week and then quit. I called again, fully expecting them to come out, charge for the new evaluation, and then order parts. Instead the person who answered the phone said Larry had taken good notes and that they could just order the parts without coming out again. A few days later the parts came in to their shop and Larry came and installed them. He charged a very fair price and then gave us the $65 deduction off the cost of services. Good, honest repair and prices and the refrigerator is working again. Highly recommended. read more

The word is FRAUD and the names are JASON & TONY. Jason said he was the GM and Tony was the tech. They came to fix our stove-top range, and when they left we noticed the oven wasn't working and quoted us $219 for parts/labor and told us it was simply a coincidence. It got stranger when we were told it was the same part needed again. When we asked for a discount they changed their story and said normally it would be $289 but because of the issue they would discount it to $219, the price they originally quoted. This was the 2nd lie they told. When we asked how that could be Jason threatened to remove the previous part they supposedly installed leaving us with no working stove or oven if we didn't move forward. My theory: They took the part from the oven and put it into the stove and charged us for a new part then tried to charge us to do the same work again. I believe Jason and Tony are running this scam together, hopefully without knowledge of the owners, but we can't be sure. When I asked to speak with a supervisor or owner Jason told me he couldn't give me the number to them and they weren't available to talk to me. Other problems along the way: When they first came out to diagnose the stove (the original problem) they said they needed to order the part. We gave them a credit card to pay for the part and received a receipt showing it was paid for. 4 weeks went by and we didn't hear from them. After a dozen or so voicemails Jason called us back and said we had refused to pay for the part so the job was cancelled. When we played the voicemail from one of their administrators stating the part had in fact been approved and paid for he said someone else made a mistake and he'd get someone out to install the part right away. Another 3 weeks later and several voicemails he again apologized, blamed his admin department and got someone out. That bring us up to date. Poor organization and a running scam by the GM. Our refrigerator completely crapped out in the middle of the worst storm in our area in the last 20 years. February 17. I discovered the problem as I was brewing coffee watching the rain pour down sideways. The display said the fridge was OFF. The unit's computer has been chronically malfunctioning, but it finally died that morning. Recycling the power was a futile gesture. And I got soaked trying. I called around locally with no success. It was 7:30 am but the unit was warming up fast, so this was on the critical path. I found AM PM on Yelp. They looked credible. I called them and got Larry, the tech, to commit to a service call. He showed up about 90 minutes later. At around 10am. In the middle of an epic deluge. Amazing. He confirmed that it was the main control board and probably the display circuit board. A follow-up call came from Jason @ HQ. Both boards needed to be replaced. One was in stock, the other required an online search, according to Jason. I was freaked, of course, but with a old refrigerator in the garage, we had a fallback position, if there was a shipping delay. It required stuffing a lot of perishables in the old unit, but better than nothing. So I gave Jason the ok, and he ran with it, in a way that separates this kid from any other customer rep I have dealt with in recent memory. It took two weeks and a defective replacement that Larry the tech apologized over in a big way, but the unreal perseverance of these guys was remarkable. This is not an exaggeration. They care about their customers, especially when there is an unexpected snafu. Jason dogged the supplier, a new unit was sent out, Larry installed it and all is well. I defy anybody on Yelp to come with an appliance repair service that is as committed and responsive as this group. Enough said. Use them if you need them. You won't be disappointed. read more
