He left about 30 minutes later to finish a previously scheduled job and place the order. By 10:10 a.m., he called to let me know the part had been ordered and that he would pick it up after his appointment before returning around 1:00 p.m. Vlad returned as promised, replaced the faulty motor in our Monogram refrigerator, and had everything working again that same afternoon. His communication throughout the entire process was outstanding, and I really appreciated how quickly he got us back up and running. Our fridge died overnight and I checked out Yelp for referrals to repair companies in my neighborhood. AMPM promised to have someone at my door between 11-2. At 11:05, Larry showed up. He quickly assessed the problem - the compressor was a goner. He checked the label inside the fridge to determine when we had purchased it, and advised me to call LG as our fridge is less than 8 years old and they warranty their compressors for ten years! Larry wrote down our model number, serial number and the number to call for LG. He advised me of the estimated cost from LG for labor (he nailed it within $25 - wow!), and I wrote out a check for the service fee to AMPM. I am very happy with his efficiency, knowledge, friendly manner, helpfulness - and the service fee was very reasonable! I will definitely call them in the future for any other issues with my appliances. read more

I had left a message Sunday for help & that afternoon "Jason", from AMPM Appliance, returned my call and scheduled an appointment the next day with "Larry" between 12 noon & 3:00. As promised, Monday afternoon "Larry" arrived. After he asked me what the problem was, he quickly went to work to find where and what the problem was and what could be done to fix/repair it. "Larry" got the refrigerator running temporally until the new part was delivered which fortunately came the next day. "Maria", called to ask if "Larry" could come to install it and he was at my house within the hour. It was installed, checked and was running like new. I called AMPM Appliance service company when I smelled a strong gas odor from my dryer. The gas company red tagged it and told me to have a certified technician come do repairs. I called AMPM and was blown away by the level of service I received. They had a technician at my door within an hour of my call, no long wait, no hassle. The technician was knowledgeable, efficient, and extremely professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and provided a fair, transparent quote for the repair. Super easy to work with. Dude showed up and looked at my washing machine. He spent less than 5 minutes listening to it and immediately knew what the problem was. Then he spent another 10 or so minutes inspecting it just to make sure and confirm that his initial diagnosis was correct. The only thing that wasn't great was that they had to order the part and it took like 3 days to get it. Which, to be fair, isn't really a complaint. It would be unreasonable to expect them to just have every part for every washer on hand... Anyways, when the part did show up, they came out and fixed it quickly and it was really an easy win. My washer is still working great like the day I first used it again. read more

Best customer service I've received from any company ever. Gary came to check out what was wrong with my dryer - he called 40 minutes in advance to let me know what time he would be here. Within 15-20 minutes of being here he told me I would likely have to get a new dryer (or spend $400+ on repairs) but offered to take the entire thing apart to tell me every little thing that was wrong. He spent over an hour figuring out what was wrong knowing the entire time I would be getting a new dryer, and even thanked me afterwards for the opportunity to do so. I was blown away by the professionalism and honesty he showed and I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone. Wish I could give more stars. read more

"We had an issue with our fridge that is only 2-3 years old. I was about to order a new fridge then I thought of yelp and maybe someone can help out for cheap. Jason the office manager at AmPm gave me same day appointment and a service call of only $45 yes $45 to come diagnose our fridge! It also got applied since we decided to do the repair! The technician Larry called 20 minutes before arrival and was quick, efficient, knowledgeable and didn't over charge. We are so grateful for the expertise of Leo who repaired the freezer in our 29 year old SubZero built in refrigerator. It was a difficult repair. Leo said I like a challenge and if it doesn't fix it, you pay only the initial service call. It was a Sunday and he worked for 6 hours. And then returned another day for the same. It turns out ours had developed a leak in the sealed system, very difficult situation and hard to repair. But Leo did it. We are still in the 90 day warranty period and all is working fine. We are really grateful for Leo's persistence and ability. I would call him a Sub-Zero Whisperer. read more

My washing machine went out yesterday. The machine drum would not spin anymore. As water was sitting in the washer, I needed a repair quickly. Vitaliy came to the rescue first thing this morning even a little ahead of time. He was very informative and efficient. Turned out to be the drain pump. He gave me a quote and asked if I wanted it repaired. The price was very reasonable considering he had to pull out the washer and work behind it in a very confined area. Though they were a little late, they called, informed me of the late arrival due to a high volume of calls, Kevin arrived with a smile and greeted me with an outstretched hand! I have used Am/Pm appliance for all my appliance issues. they actually answer the phone and usually are able to service that day. I had an expensive dishwasher repair back in December 24 and had to call them again as the appliance was making a new noise. they came that day, diagnosed the issue as something different and if fixed it would be a expensive bill . he said if I could live with the noise then later just replace the appliance. He did not even charge me a service fee. much appreciated. I recommend them as I feel they are honest. read more

Our washing machine was making noise and wasn't draining properly. Within five minutes of requesting a quote, I received a call and was able to schedule a technician for later the same day. Kevin came out to diagnose my GE dishwasher, which only leaks sporadically, after another company was unable to fix it and recommended we buy a new one (it's two years old and it's not a low end model). Kevin had some ideas to help me figure out what is causing the leak, and we are still working on it. I called the company and they just argued with me and said the best they could do is send someone again tomorrow. At that point I called Andy Kao and left a message on his voicemail begging for help.
