Great pho. Normally we go to pho shizzle( another favorite pho place) But today we went here. It was busy and the service was a bit overwhelmed. It took about 25 to 30 minutes to get our food after walking in the door. It's a bit of a long wait for some pho. But I will chalk that up to a tough day for the servers. After being so tired of rich food on Christmas Eve, I came to the restaurant on Christmas day and wow they opened during holiday. This is the first star for them. I only ordered Crispy Deep Fried Tofu and Thai Tea and chose Dine In option. The small order eaten Dine In is not very welcomed in most restaurants, especially Asian Restaurants. That being said, you would most likely receive poor service with it. However, the staffs and environment here are totally different. Still welcome and being friendly regardless of the size order. I'm really impressed with the guy with the bright hair. He gave me complimentary dessert even though he did not have to. (Complimentary dessert is only provided along with at least $10 order, I believe). 2 stars for the superb service and environment. Other 2 stars are for their delicious food. The tofu is crispy outside and soft inside, which means that the tofu is very fresh and well cooked. Will definitely come back for Pho & Bun dishes! read more

So glad to have found this place a short walk from the new apartment! The food and service were both above par and this will definitely become a frequent stop for me. The pho is flavorful, not overly salty or sweet as I've found elsewhere, but rather really balanced with a homemade beef-broth taste. I ordered a small combo which comes with everything and all of the meat was cooked perfectly and was clearly fresh, quality product. I also ordered a coconut juice expecting to get a small glass or one of those packaged juice box style drinks but was instead served a glass of fresh, lightly sweetened, coconut juice with hand-shaved coconut meat! I was certainly impressed. They also serve free dessert which was a generous portion of what tasted like homemade egg custard. Overall, a really great dining experience. A rainy day passing through Seattle called for some pho ga. It was a little bit bland (chicken sorta dry, it didn't have any entrails which was what I wanted) but it still hit the spot the com tam with lemongrass beef was pretty darn good, and portions are massive. Pros: - great portions!! -extra noodles are complementary (good if you're sharing with a young child) - 10% off on Yelp -FREE FLAN!! -fantastic service. I love the food here. It' a comfy place to eat. I happened to be alone and was very comfortable, but it loooks like a good place for couples or groups too. I felt the lighting was just right, not a fast food bright, but enough to see your menu, etc. The folks are super, super friendly and efficient. I have really been enjoying this place in the past year or so. I walk there from work for lunch and have never been disappointed with the pho. The selection of dishes is very good, although I have to admit I've only ever had the pho, because it's really good! And more importantly, it's CONSISTENT. I've come at least once a week for months. I can't stand it when I find a place I like, and a few trips later the soup is different. They offer free flan for desert, which seems kind of odd to me (I understand a puff pastry, being that Vietnam was a french colony at one point, but flan?) The place is clean, the staff is helpful and quick. Free wifi means I can browse while eating. The ambient noise is a little loud (they have some refrigerators behind their counter that seem to be in need of a tuneup) I've come when it was pretty empty, and I've come at noon when the light-rail construction crews have arrived and there's barely a seat in the house, and I've never had to wait long for my meal. read more

Came into the entrance and the decor caught my eye. Compared to other pho places, they seem to care about how they present themselves; even their menus are carefully presented as well as their check books which I think is a good idea If you ever get to see them! Me and my boyfriend ordered the shrimp spring roll, beef wraps to share and I ordered the pho steak and he ordered the pho combo small for both. All of our food came out at a reasonably decent time. The apps tasted fine but the pho I've got to say, as a Vietnamese, it was kind of lacking a bit. It wasn't bad but it was missing that taste. They also gave flan desserts for both me and my boyfriend, so two in total! Which is nice. Overall experience was great, as we were seated immediately and also our orders were taken within less than 5 minutes and everything came out within 10-20 minutes. The Pad Thai was alright. Bonus points: I like how they give you a free mini flan for dessert! Pho=good Sandwiches are so pathetic!! Do not order there is no meat. It was a quarter of a flat chicken breast they reheated (the managers words) the reason for the 2 stars is the pho is decent. Probably the best Pho in the area! The service was overly good, quick, accurate and the staff was extremely courteous. I've had my fair share of Pho and Bahn Mi this place is pretty authentic and as good as it gets. The food was very fresh and the servings are pretty generous. I gave the 5 stars based off the food and service. Have had the Pho, Bahn Mi and the Fresh Rolls as well and all three were extremely tasty. The atmosphere is cosy and very inviting and the staff there are really nice (reading earlier reviews that didn't seem to be true) but these guys are really friendly. We'll definitely be coming back as there are very few Pho places in the area and this by far the best around. Check this place out, you wont regret it. The food is delicious!! read more

Awesome spot for some delicious cheap food. The staff is great, the food is cheap, and everything tastes great! My SO and I had the brisket pho and the BBQ pork banh mi, and some of the bubble tea. Both were delicious (and free extra noodles!) and the whole meal costed under 20 bucks. The waiter was very helpful, thoughtful, and prompt with service. The best pho broth I've had in the U district, and that says a lot. Have only tried the beef and spicy beef but I'm sure the other broth options are excellent as well. Typical service at a pho place, fast and no nonsense, and you walk up to the counter to pay. The difference between the small and large is a bit perplexing though, I think they give you a bit more meat and noodles but the bowl is the same size. The fish tanks in the front always crack me up but don't let them fool you, this place is legit. 5 stars read more

Excellent place for vegetarian pho!! The broth was flavorful, unlike most pho places where you ask for vegetarian broth and they give you a basic flavorless broth that is not traditional pho broth. So for that, this is the place to go. The bahn mi was ok however. read more
