First time coming here last night. The place is very small and no waiting area but the Yelp reviews looked great. BUT the service that we experienced was horrible. So bad,we left. We got asked what drinks we wanted right away and got them quick. But after that,about 20 minutes we got up and got ready to go. We came here for dinner on a Saturday evening. This place is small, I mean tiny. This place is so small you can hear everything single conversation going on at every table. With that being said, I don't recommend this spot for families or children, it's too cramped. Please leave the kids at home. The food is great. Sushi rolls are so delicious. We tried the Harry Potter roll, my favorite! We also tried the spicy tuna tempura roll and albacore tuna, all delicious and fresh. I definitely recommend this place for small groups only. Came here for lunch and found out the previous owner (Fusion 313) sold the restaurant. So, I gave it a try. Ordered Salmon Sushi and it was horrible, Couldn't even swallow it because it just didn't taste right. My coworker couldn't even cut her salmon into pieces because it was that tough. They gave us clam to try, but couldn't even bite and swallow it. It tasted horrible and didn't look fresh. Hopefully, they'll step up their game. I wouldn't go back though. read more

I would have rated this much lower due to the lag of this place if the rolls had not been some of the best I have had. The place is very small 8 bar seats and maybe 20 chairs total. So with the size so small I was very disappointed in the time it took to even just place my order let alone the 50 minutes it took to get our first rolls. So my wife and I came here after searching for a new sushi spot. My wife took to yelp and found this spot. Came in, it wasn't busy but that's cool it's a Sunday night so what you expect. It's a small spot. But it think that add to its appeal. So we ordered some miso soup, and and appetizer it's name escapes me at the moment but it the first appetizer on the list. It was really good. I would have to recommend the Fuji Roll. It contains Spicy Tuna covering a California Roll with Shrimp Tempura. The fish was good; it was pretty fresh. The only reason I would take off a star would be the service. Not that it was bad or anything, but they only have one chef. And with at least 30 people in here, there's only so long you can wait for your sushi. It took a good 30 minutes for 2 of our platters to come out, and by then we were already feeling a bit full. An unassuming place that has a total of about five tables and a bar. Not a very impressive storefront and is easily missed when driving past on grand. The gf and I got the lady roll, DC roll, Richie's hand roll, and jumbo scallop nigiri. Scallop nigiri was pretty good. Was made with a bit of wasabi in it and kind of drenched in lemon. Still. It tasted pretty good and had a natural sweetness and flavor to it.... Thought the wasabi inside the nigiri was a bit weird but I guess that's how it's traditionally made according to the gf. Meh DC roll had thick cuts of salmon which was nice. I guess it was worth $11. Richie was very nice and accommodating and made the hand rolls and lady rolls with seaweed instead of soy paper as that was our preference. Lady roll had a nice assortment of fish in it but was only five pieces. Meh. Richie roll was made in an interesting way... Fish was cut up and mixed with a crab mix and some other ingredients and sauce... It was pretty great. If I were to come back I'd probably stick to the Richie hand roll. Eh. We'll see read more

This place is a hidden gem and is definitely in the top three for sushi in Glendora and the nearby cities. Don't be put off by the ugly little shopping center set back from the corner of Arrow Hwy on Grand Ave. This restaurant is clean and has a chill vibe inside. It's small and as you would expect, you get the attention you deserve. The server was polite and attentive without ever being intrusive or pushy. The atmosphere is laid back and cozy and has just the right amount of noise. On a whim, I stopped in Friday night hoping to have some delicious sushi and I was not disappointed! Everything was very, very fresh and the portions were generous. With a simple, clean presentation, the talented chef prepared every item perfectly balanced to provide the most incredible tasting experience. I started with an oyster shooter and salmon sashimi. Both were super tasty and fresh. Next, I had my usual spicey scallop handroll and this was one of the best I've ever eaten-I've been eating sushi for over 30 years! I also the Rainbow roll, which was a long-time favorite of mine that I had all but given up on after so many unsatisfying experiences at other restaurants. This time everything was exactly right! It had lots of thick slices fish on top of the wide cuts that were carefully spaced on the plate-no need to recut the cut roll. The taste was heavenly! This was sushi dining the way it was meant to be. I couldn't be happier and I will definitely be returning soon! I recommend you choose this spot next time you have your sushi craving. My husband and I love coming here when we need a reasonably affordable yet well-worth-it sushi fix. This place has it all, and then some. One of our favorites is the yellowtail carpaccio which has the best of both worlds mix of sweet-ish, savory, and spicy flavors. Add to it the very friendly owners / operators and it is always a family friendly experience for us. Sitting at the sushi bar affords us the chance to socialize with strangers turned friends by the end of the evening each and every time. Not a happy camper. Called in my order for the hot mama roll and four seasons roll at 8 PM. I was told my order would take 45-50 minutes, I say ok. I get there 9:05 pm and leave at 9:23 p with my order; that's 1 hr and 23 minutes since I placed my order. As I waited, I noticed there were four other parties of two there and one person waiting to-go before I got there. I was offered water and a seat but I refused because I really didn't think I would have to wait that long. We ordered most of their nigiri sushi and all of the fish were fresh and delicious! They do sell out of some fish early though! They only have one sushi chef, so the sushi takes a while but the wait is worth it. We don't have to drive to Little Tokyo for sushi when we're lazy anymore.
