Restaurant is located in a shared plaza with lots of parking so we didn't have any issues, we parked right outside the restaurant! The restaurant was clean with lots of seating. The restaurant was about half full when we walked in. We were seated right away. Customer service was fantastic! Everyone checked in on us and refilled our waters without us asking. For the food, we tried the spicy garlic edamame, spider roll, dragon roll, and Alaska roll. My boyfriend and I agreed that everything tasted fresh and delicious! I would definitely want to come back to try some of their other appetizers and sushi :) PS - we checked in on Yelp and they gave us a generous scoop of ice cream for dessert .. we tried their matcha and strawberry flavors.. sooOoo good! 6 years later and I still give this place a five star rating. Love to see it when a neighborhood spot maintains the quality of food and service. My party and I came for lunch and decided to sit outside. Service was great. We were checked on frequently even though we were the only people who decided to sit outside. We ordered an assortment of rolls and a chirashi bowl. The food came out fairly quickly. The sashimi is thick, quality cuts. The rolls were all delicious. The Alaskan and lemon pepper salmon were my favorite ones. All in all, my past dining experiences here over the years have never been lackluster. The rolls were fantastic and the chirashi was pretty good. Note that the baby lobster roll actually has baby crawfish and not lobster on top. They also didn't give free ice cream with my Yelp check-in because we didn't dine in. I've been here a couple times and I've enjoyed my visits here. It's located in the Vons shopping plaza, so parking is plentiful. The food is good, prices are good, and staff is friendly. They have a variety of rolls posted on the wall, with names inspired by the surrounding cities (ie Pomona roll, Covina roll). They also offer the usual bento box combos, teriyakis, noodles, etc. I have no complaints about this place, it's solid Japanese food and satisfies my teriyaki cravings.
