Sam fixed the AC in my old Honda Civic Hybrid for a small fraction of the cost that the dealer wanted to charge me because he's smart enough to know how to repurpose used hybrid parts. He also fixed little things, like my loose bumper, without even mentioning it! A brilliant guy and a real mensch. When you go to his shop, know that you're in good hands.

He was able to see my precious, gas-sipping investment as soon as I pulled up, just like in the past. He whipped out his iPad to run the diagnostic and within five minutes I was on my merry way, as he confirmed it was just a loose gas cap. I tried to give him ten bucks but he insisted I go on...I have been almost victimized at two chain dealerships, namely Toyota red mcombs off 10 and hausman and even where I purchased my vehicle at Cavender s Toyota ...I forget which one once said I had a leaking gasket/engine problem and wanted 2k to fix it (this was not true and car has been running like a champ 3.5 years since then). Mine has an oil leak at least 4 different places haven't been able to figure out. Chad's garage gave me some hope, but they were never able to fix it. I take pretty much all "guarantees" with a grain of salt. "Bring it back"...pffft why would I? You couldn't fix it the First time? More likely, I'll just be dumping more money in sonl you can "half fix it" a 2nd time. One mechanic even told my wife to "hit the dash when her A/C wasn't kicking on...AFTER they fixed it. GTFO... Really!? Cost wasn't exactly on the cheap side...maybe fair, but ONLY if they fix the problem. My impression is they had way more cars than they could handle and were trying to rush them outa there. Fair enough, but I will not be taking either of ours back. Fair warning to those that do.

My engine had locked up and my mother said this guy was a good mechanic, i told him my issues and he towed it to his shop. He diagnosed the engine was locked and would need to be replaced. I gave him the money for the replacement and he gave me a engine that didnt work and was basically trash. Mind you just getting that engine i waited a month for him and his team to actually work on my vehicle. Then he told me it was the radiator boom another 300$. I ended telling him that i will not be paying for another engine since the one i paid for didnt work, he then said ok no problem i will cover your engine but then said i wont work on the car because my wife divorced me and im broke and homeless and that any paymet you send will help. So at that point i didnt know what to do, so i ended up just paying my balance of 500. He finally got the engine installed after 2 months of waiting and he brought it back with a faulty fuel pump and a bunch of wires and sensors messed up. Do not put any money into this guy and do NOT trust him. He also told me he has signs in his shop so if he runs over a tire With YOUR car you will pay for it. Also i could never ask him questions without him saying im rushing him even though he had my car for months.This guy will not prioritize your car only your MONEY. Hope this helps on your search for a good mechanic because this guy is not it! I have so many words for a guy like this but i feel ive said enough.

I drove & dropped my car off for a diagnosis, they said $65. They called me a couple days later &…read moretold me the problem which then I told them to go ahead & fix it. They called me again & said there was another problem needed fixing and would cost me $3000 more. I don't have that so I declined. They then did not want to fix the original issue & told me to pick my car up. When I went to pick it up they charged me $150 when originally stated $65. The guy goes to start my car for me and then gets out & tells me my car won't start. They did not put my car back together & left the stuff in my back seat & told me to call a tow truck. I drove my car in ... I expected to drive it out. Now I am out of a car with a new born who has multiple appointments & a 2 year old. Thankyou RPM .
