Stopped by around 2:50pm on a Thursday, basically right before they closed. It's inside the Kukuiʻula Local Market near the back of the store. Parking is limited, but it was empty at that time so no issues for us. The decor is very island-y. We ordered the sau sai acai bowl. Got a buzzer and it went off within a minute. Flavor-wise, it was just okay. The sau sai leaned a bit sweet, toppings were pretty limited (blueberries, strawberries, banana), and the acai itself wasn't very strong. Not bad, but nothing that really stood out.
I prefer pitaya bowls or açai bowls so I was excited to see on the menu there was pitaya. I got the Da Dragon (largest size) and it was enough to feed three people. I like that the base was creamy and thick. Fruits were fresh. This was closer to $20, the amount kinda justified the amount of the bowl. Would recommend if you are wanting to try a good açai place in Poipu.
A must stop and try. They offer punch cards for a free item after ten purchases. Parking is limited since it is located in the rear of a general store (Kukuiula Market). Friendly staff and they have seating available in the back of the store strictly for Anake's Juice Bar.
Best açaí bowls on the island! We searched and tried all of them and this is the best. We tried every bowl on the menu. They are always busy but are fast and get everything perfect every time. It is a fun little shop at the back of a market that you can look through while you wait. Come here!
I absolutely loved my açaí bowl here, and I'm very critical of them. It wasn't too sweet, which is a huge plus for me, as I dislike when bowls have a heavy date or other overpowering flavors. I personally preferred the plain açaí to the options mixed with things like peanut butter. The juices were good, but the açaí bowl was my favorite. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here.
Always freshly made and friendly staff. Wait can be a little long during peak time on a sunny day since it's freshly made, but it's well worth it!
The acai bowls here are amazing! Our group ending up ordering pretty much one of every bowl they had and none of them disappointed. Honestly you can't really go wrong with any of the choices here. The servings are large and the mixture of things in it all work well together. Love the fruits and the crunch mixture! I've been thinking about these since I got back home! Definitely will be a good to next time for breakfast!

Terrific juice bar in Koloa, Hawaii on the island of Kauai. I had the Sau Sai açaí bowl. It has an açaí fruit and Greek yogurt base topped with bananas, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, coconut flakes, granola and raw honey. Super super yummy and healthy at the same time. All made fresh while u wait. The girls there are very pleasant. The juice bar is located in back of the very quaint Kukuiula grocery store. Aloha!
4.5 stars Anake's is located inside of a supermarket, all the way at the back. They had a steady flow of customers when we went in the afternoon, so it did take a bit of time to get our acai bowl. We went for the funky monkey because we love PB in our acai, but we didn't love the chocolate chips as a topping. I think next time we'll try the Hulk! What we loved about this place was how creamy it was! Not icy/slushy, and didn't melt right away. We shared a medium, which was enough for the 2 of us since we wanted to try other places afterwards Most people got to go, but there are a few picnic tables and seats inside to enjoy your bowl or smoothie

My favorite açaí bowl spot on the island! It's a little confusing, but Anake's Juice Bar is located at the back of a grocery store. Parking can be a little tough, but worth it! I tried their Sau Sai Bowl and added peanut butter. It was delicious! We tried a lot of açaí bowls across the island and I think the consistency of the açaí blend was the best here. Not too icy, well blended, and lots of açaí flavor. They were also very generous with the toppings. There was a good amount of fruit- all fresh and sweet. My friend tried their Funky Monkey bowl and said they packed it with lots of chocolate and peanut butter too. They have a pretty extensive menu- lots of bowls and smoothies available. Their service is also great, so I'm excited to come back and try more. Definitely a must-stop on Kauai!

Love all the smoothies I got here and hulk bowl was ginormous. I had to put some away in the fridge and it was still good surprisingly hours later. I love a fresh and health conscious smoothie bar, and this one is top notch both for the quality ingredients and the creative, extensive combos. Can't wait to go back! There was one day they closed unexpectedly due to short staff, and I was very sad about it. Please stay open forever!!! read more
Anake was such an interesting little find tucked inside of a grocery store, and somehow that made the experience feel even more local and authentic. It was incredibly busy the entire time we were there, which is always a good sign, but the line moved fairly quickly considering how packed it was. It was fun to shop around the grocery store while I waited. The acai bowl we ordered was massive and definitely enough to share. We added mangos as a topping and they tasted almost out of season and wasn't great. The acai itself was smooth. Everything tasted super fresh, and the balance of sweetness with the granola and fruit was really good without being overpowering. Overall, such a fun spot to stumble upon and absolutely worth the stop if you're in Kaua'i. read more

We came around 2p on our first day on the island and were so bummed that they had closed early that day due to being short staffed. We were able to make it back later in the week and loved our acai! All of the bases are blended, rather than a scooper sorbet, and which made the bowls less sugary and more refreshing. I ordered their most popular, the Sau Sai bowl and loved it! The employee was so friendly and accommodating, offering her recommendations and allowing me to make substitutions. I added papaya on top and it was perfection. Favorite acai spot we found on the island and wish we had more time to come back! read more

Great spot! I loved the Kauai sunrise smoothie. So good! The chunky monkey was good too. The spot is in the back of the little market. Sometimes their card machine doesn't work so bring cash. Line can get long so just be prepared to wait a bit if needed. There's picnic tables to enjoy your food too! read more
The award for best acai bowl goes to Anake's Juice Bar. Hidden away in the back of a Poipu grocery store, Anake's acai bowls were the reason I returned 4 mornings in a row. And while the bowls are mostly consistent from day to day I'll admit that mine were out-of-the-ballpark-amazing on days 1 and 2; fantastic after that as well, but there was a little less of some mystery ingredient on those subsequent days and it left me feeling like an addict chasing that original high. As we sat consuming acai bowls on day 4 my fellow consumer remarked on the one thing that made us feel even more virtuous than consuming these insanely delicious bowls each morning: "the people who work here look so healthy". It's true. My favored acai bowl was Da Dragon (medium size is very ample, $10.75; large runs $12.75) while my fellow consumer was partial to the Sao Sai. Anake's also offer smoothies and juice but it's likely I'll never know what those taste like. That's how enticing their acai bowls are. If you're down in Poipu you'd be a fool to miss this place. read more

This is inside a market! They have own parking lot but can be busy and hard to get parking since they share parking lot with Da Crack (Mexican burritos & more). The açaí bowl was huge! I got a medium and it was pretty fulfilling! The sau sai was delicious 10/10! The funky monkey was good too but I don't like peanut butter like that so I'd give it a 7.5/10 read more

Wow, this is such a great local place for acai! For only $12.75 you get a large bowl (24 oz) acai of your choice! It's very generous and so good! I couldn't finish mine so I'll eat the half later. Lol Anyway, the place is inside the Kukuiula Market. They also sell fresh juices, smoothies, overnight oats and ginger shots. They have tables and chairs inside, but went to the beach to enjoy my acai. Check this place out when you're in Kauai. read more

Easily the best Açaí bowl I got on the island. I like my Açaí mix BBW, thick and flavorful. Topped with so much fresh fruit and nice and cold. Açaí really is the best cheat to have ice cream for breakfast. Would absolutely recommend this place. There's often a line but it moves pretty quick. Acai bowl goodness, here I come. This place had been highly recommended by a dear friend so of course we had to give it a try when were in the area~ Hidden inside a little grocery store of sorts, Anake's Juice Bar is quaint and unassuming but has a great variety of acai bowls, juices, smoothies, etc. I will say that the line was thriving when we went in but seemed to move rather quickly which was nice. We were a bit split over what to get and my original intention was to ask a couple questions at the counter though service was a bit brusque due to the long line and I didn't to waste their time. We ended up with the poipu paradise (no banana in this one!) and Da Dragon. I should have started the review with the warning that my husband detests banana and just avoids smoothies and soft serves and acai bowls with it since it's a pretty dominant flavor. Hence, the poipu paradise came in clutch for him. Flavor wise both were good and filling -- I will say even the small bowl had me really full and off fruit for the rest of the day so bewarned if you get the larger size. Prices are a bit steep but tis the economy, especially with fruit and honey prices these days. Still a solid acai bowl spot to check out if you're in the area! Also love that there's a good amt of parking and a mexican food spot nestled right nearby to pair with your acai treats. read more
I was visiting Kauai for 4 days and came here for 3/4 of those days bc that's how amazing these acai bowls were! There's a small parking lot out front and once you get out - don't fret - you're in the right place it's just located at the back left corner of Kukuiula Market. I tried the Sau Side Bowl and Chunky Monkey and both featured the creamiest acai bowls that i've ever had anywhere! 100% stop by if you're visiting here. They have a good amount of indoor seating but you can also take your bowls for takeout to a short 5 min drive to the beach (just be wary if you're driving too far bc the acai might melt and you won't be able to enjoy the consistency of the bowl which is best when enjoyed fresh). I personally didn't encounter any lines when I went at around 11-2 pm but one day, I did go earlier at 8 am and it was busy and took longer to get the bowls - but well worth the wait and still pretty quick. read more

The freshest fruit, delicious granola and honey and quick service for such an ornate bowl - tucked away in the back of a grocery store but a step above any other acai bowl I tried in Kauai. Went here twice on our visit since it was so good! We got the Poipu paradise, da dragon and the funky monkey. All were amazing! Super fresh fruit, nice crunch and the honey on top is heavenly. The medium size is pretty big so me and my friend shared it. It is located inside a convenience market and doesn't have a lot of signs out front, don't miss this place. It is exactly what you want for breakfast in Hawaii! read more
