By far, the best açaí bowls in Kauai. Friendly service. Local flavor. Always look forward to stopping by on the way to the beach.

Definitely one of the top 3 acai bowls I had while visiting. The staff was very friendly and the ingredients were delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had a nice little seating area inside and outside to enjoy your food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now I need to figure out how to make an acai bowl at home on the mainland like they do!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A bit hidden and difficult to find but the menu is chock full of yummy looking foods![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The açaí bowls were pretty big! I couldn't finish mine in one sitting. Service was friendly but not very fast. Which is fine if you're coming to enjoy a lunch. Just don't expect to be in and out super fast!

G's Juicebar is easy to get to in town. There's a decent amount of parking spaces out front. I got the Hula Girl smoothie ($10.50 plus tax and $0.33 credit card surcharge). It's tasty but basic. I'd go back but wouldn't go out of my way to recommend.

Brazilian and Butter Boy bowls

Quite literally the best açaí bowl we've ever had! My wife and I happened to stop in on our second day on Kauai and we ended up going back 3 more times. The açaí blend is so smooth and creamy and there are so many fresh add ons available. I made a different blend every time we went and they were all excellent. I also had a protein smoothie which was equally delicious. If you are anywhere on the island it's worth the drive and if you are visiting Waimea Canyon it's right on the main road just a block or two before you turn into the park.

Butter boy

We asked the gal working there what her favorite was and it was the Butter Boy!! And wow! It was so yummy and refreshing after a big hike on a hot day. Perfect reparation fuel! Bananas were fresh and the toppings paired perfectly. Wish I could fly over right now!

Acai bowls

Tried several acai/juice places on the island and G's was by far our favorite. Texture, flavor, and toppings were all perfect! Both beautifully presented and delicious!

The açaí bowl is fresh, filling, and delicious. The service was prompt and efficient, in spite of several people in front of us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is cozy and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What a lovely find on our way back from Waimea Canyon.

Ambiance is nice and chill. AC could be cooler but there were a lot of us that came in at once so maybe that's why it felt warm.... Fruity pebbles smoothie - such a nice blend of fruit, flavors and goes down smooth :-). Rambla bowl with peanut butter - not too sweet, hearty, hemp seeds, granola, got the peanut butter on the top. So yummy and filling!!

Açaí Kauai bowl was really good. I would definitely order it again, but wish it came with blueberries. A bit pricey, but aren't all the good ones a little expensive? That's what I've learned in my connoisseur attempts to eat all the açaí bowls. Would be back.

Fine juice place. Wouldn't come rushing back. When I went, they were out of papaya and dragonfruit so I panicked ordered like my 8th back up option. I got a juice and appreciated it didn't come with ice so you got a lot more juice

Marley Bowl! Refreshing!

My Filipino in me was so happy especially when I saw that halo-halo. This store got lotsa snacks for the road. They got deli that includes cold wrap & sandwiches, lemonade, boba drinks and smoothies and some Filipino groceries that reminds me of home. I got muncher (a Filipino green peas snack) and a can of Filipino corned beef. I also got banana turon paired with fresh buko. It heart was so happy. The Filipino couple who owned the store was so friendly and are the happiest to talk to. Ate & Kuya I'll be back! Mahalo for reading & happy juandering fellow yeeps!

We stumbled across a really cute variety store after going to the Coconut Corner across the street…read more The shop is owned by a really cute mom and pop and they have many great options for folks that I think are superior to the options at Coconut Corner. They offer fruit smoothies that are much bigger than those across the street - $8 for 20 oz of fresh fruit smoothies instead of $9 for like 10 ounces across the street. They also offer other desserts like boba teas and halo halo, which we found to be very delicious and very reasonably priced. This would be great place to stop by before or after your hike at Waimea for baked goods, trail mix/chips, sandwiches and/or teas and dessert. I would highly consider ordering sandwiches and snacks to-go and then having them on my hike. I also ordered a malasadas and bought some trail mix for the road - all packaged by 4tea. I think the price points are great and the owners are very kind. However, I noticed the downside of this store is the small signage, which I couldn't even see eating at Island Taco. But what we did was park near Island Taco (since they do not have their own lot but instead they share the lot with a private homeowner). So I would park on the street or nearby and walk over. Alongside the trail mix, they also have fruit candies, chips, bakery items, and sandwiches of all kinds - all very reasonably priced. It's hard because this place does not have seating, but you can easily grab this food to go and enjoy it at a beach nearby like Salt Pond Park. I hope this business does well and that they get more foot traffic, which is why I'm writing this thorough review, noticing that they aren't on Yelp yet - Hope this local business does well!

When I went there even happened to be some live music. It made for a lovely family friendly ambiance I got the "Next Level" bowl with additional soursop - Pros: way more filling than I expected. The peanut butter and coconut chunks definitely added heft. I loved the texture of the coconut chunks that added a chunky bite, whereas the granola added a light crisp. The textures were really fun to eat. The açai base wasn't overly sweet - Cons: aside from banana, any other fruit is additional $2.50, which is pretty pricey. In total, my bowl came to $20. It was unfortunate that the soursop wasn't fruit chunks, but instead a puree In addition to the standard menu, today they had a special bowl with assorted fruit on top, yum. I also love their water bottle. If you buy one, you get a free mango lemonade and you can get a $5 refill anytime. I love their green juices. Unfortunately so does everyone else and they were always out of my favorite green juice by the time I got there. The shop in Koloa is a great location, way better than where they were before. There is more room for customers now. You can get freshly made juices there, or they have a ton of pre made drinks and different souvenirs you can buy as well. The space is large enough for multiple customers, but not too large to where it is overwhelming. Everyone is always nice here, very welcoming. They try to get your order out as soon as possible. Even on my plane ride back to the mainland, the lady sitting next to me had one of their juices for the plane (idk how she snuck it on tbh, but I'm jealous!)

They have shelves full of products, including honey, olive oil and matcha to name a few. They also have a fridge stocked with grab and go items like their house made salads and soups, as well as their juices and PB. They also sell their brand of honey, beef tallow, and hot sauces. I loved being able to sample all their hot sauces before buying mini bottles to take home (3 for $10)--be warned that some are SUPER spicy (but tasty). Their papaya smoothie bowl with ocean vibes base was AMAZING!! I thought the frozen fruit topping was going to be gross and hard to eat but it has a great chew and was so tasty. Don't even get me started with the passion fruit on it...to die for! The granola and the papaya were also fresh and delicious. Overall I give it 10000/10! I will surely be thinking about it when I'm back home In California. I also tried their Omega This juice that had soursop, orange, mango, dragon fruit, pineapple, and chia seeds and it was soooo refreshing and sweet. I love the addition of whole chia seeds in the drink. I got a Gut Shot ($1) that had kimchi juice to aid my digestive system. I'm a big kimchi lover and this shit was smooth and easy to drink, like a less spicy and slightly sweeter kimchi brine. I also tried their chili and egg breakfast burrito, not a whole lot of flavor and something I wouldn't personally get again. My fiancé liked it though. It's dairy and meat free, but does contain eggs. I liked that it came with 2 sauces on the side, a salsa and an aioli of some sorts. The burrito was a lot better with the aioli. There is patio seating outside in the front and back. We came one day while it was pouring rain but we were able to sit outside without getting wet which I loved so we could eat and watch the rain. Free parking available in front or in the back parking lot of the shopping plaza. Tons of other great food and stores in the plaza that are worth a try as well, including the bakery right next door for some cookies.

=== THE CUTEST. Funnest market we went to. Say hi to G and have lunch there on their front porch!…read more=== We had seen Warehouse 3540 in Lawai on our trips to West Kauai, and after stopping there (also a really great stop but that's another review) walked back to Lawai Market. Super glad we did! Lawai Market has tons of house-made baked goods, a kicking deli section, incredible bread, smoothies, local goods (mostly food kinds), interesting alcohol/spirits, just tons of fun stuff. Counter folks were super friendly, G was especially friendly and helpful, offering recommendations, helping us out, talking story with us, and making us feel at home. Specific thoughts: ++ House-made s'mores bar. Huge portion. Five of us shared one. Topped with toasted marshmallow, then fudge-y brownie, then this incredible crust which seemed like graham cracker shortbread - never had a crust like that. Almost impossible to cut through because it's so wonderfully thick. It literally stays on the knife you use to saw through it. But oh so good. Each bite lasts a long time as you make your way through the layers. + They had more than a dozen other pastries, again, all house-made fresh every day. G says the tres leches cake (beautiful and floating in the cream mixture) and the brownie parfaits are crowd favs. ++ Curried chicken salad. Supreme comfort food but with strong flavors of curry (they don't mess around), raisins, and all sorts of other textures. FILLING - our group of five couldn't eat more than half of the small container and we loved it. ++ Egg salad. Punchier than most egg salads with lots of strong dill. Tended to like the chicken salad more but dug into this when I needed a break from the curry. + Spicy poke. Good and fresh. Personally like the spicy poke from The Musubi Truck better, but this was still solid. Always love the creaminess if the aioli. + Purple power smoothie. You can tell there's something healthy in there - not like your normal straight up sweet smoothie. (I think it's kale.) But this really grew on me. ++ Focaccia. Oh man. Salt crystals on top, great texture to the bread. Our group are bread connoisseurs and they loved this. We went back for a second loaf because we devoured the first one. ++ They have small sizes of everything in their deli which makes getting a selection of a bunch of things for your group easy. We literally sat out there and walked back into the store three or four times to browse and get more items. And walked out with more and more each time. Sitting on their front porch is great too. Yes, the main road goes right by there but lush trees and Kauai greenery abounds on the other side of the road which makes the whole space awesome to hang in. Make this stop - you won't regret it.
