Everything is tasty! The bionicos are my favorite they have the best here! They're always fresh and the lechera is perfect.

Came in 15 minutes before closing and STILL packed. Really wanted tostielotes but they ran out so that was a bummer. Ended up just getting a tostilocos and it did not disappoint! Seems like this is a really popular place since we were almost 8th in line .They seem short staffed but yet again they're about to close. Next time I come for a visit around these parts ill make sure to come early. read more

Bee-O-Neek-Cos.... I think that's how you pronounce it... please correct me if you will... Anyways, this place is BOMB! I walked up in the mom n pop shop and looked at their glorious menu. Some items, I did need an explanation because I didn't know.... and if you don't know, betta ask somebody or you'll be missing out! Anyways, I went ahead and ordered the Bionicos which is their #1 selling item here. $6 for a small which seems expensive but it is LOADED with AWESOMENESS!!!! Lemme tell yah! I picked my fruits which were strawberries, mangoes & bananas... then it was smothered in fresh yogurt... then it was topped with granola, slivered almonds, shredded coconut and raisins! Took my first bite and was like "DAMN!!!! This is the shizznazzy!!!! Delicious! And for the most part.... healthy for you! The gentleman at the counter is super helpful and friendly! He answered a lot of my questions and had that "I told you so" face after I took my first bionicos bite! HAHA! I will definitely be back for more... HOLLA! read more

I ordered a papaya smoothie it was undrinkable. It tasted like nothing but milk and sugar could not taste any papaya . I could've made a better one at home with just milk and papaya no added sugar like I always do .... I mean it could have been That day ... I have been coming to Ana's for years, and I'm always satisfied with my order. Even when I've had odd cravings with raspado they'll respect my order or make suggestions. I had asked for a green apple and tamarind raspado with lemon (don't ask), the man behind the counter asked me if I was sure and that maybe it would be a better idea to simply get either a full green apple raspado and get some tamarindo on the top or vice versa, I gladly went with his suggestion and it was bomb! The banana splits here are also very delicious, I recommend the coconut pineapple ice cream. The elites are also very good, you can tell they used some sort of canned corn but it's still good. Today I had a liquado de platano and the put some cinnamon on the top, just how my mom used to make me. It really made my day it tasted super good! The place just got new furniture so there's plenty of high tables of two and low tables of four. I brought my fiancé here for the first time and he seemed to dig it too, I have a feeling we will be coming back! Awesome customer service and product! read more

A Potluck Conversation. ME: What's that? S: Bionicos. ME: Oh...uhm...what's that? S: It's like a Mexican fruit salad. ME: It's pretty...and healthy too huh? S: Well, except for the condensed milk. Yeah it's healthy. ME: Where did you get it? Complete silence. ME: Uhm, where did you buy it? Complete silence again. Maybe it's her polite way of saying, "Just shut up and eat it." LOL! Ignored and hungry, I ate my bionicos. It was yummers for sure! It consisted of sliced up apples, mango, strawberries, melon, bananas, raisins, granola, yogurt, sweetened millk, and coconut. I don't know what it is about potlucks. Sometimes people can get so protective about their precious dishes. Til this day, I still don't know where the secretaries buy their delicious bionicos. I thought I'd try this place out in search for our secretary's potluck bionicos. No luck. But still delicious! I can tell it's not the same place because of the design they usually make out of the ingredients. In Ana's you can have your choice of ingredients in terms of what kind of fruits you like and I think you can opt for cream, yogurt, or sweetened milk. I suggest you just ask one of the ladies about what they like and they won't steer you astray. I got the medium size and it was about $7 and it fed six people. It's great for dessert or a snack. This place is small. It's like having a walk-up fruit stand, but inside...if that makes sense. I think they have juices, smoothies, snack items...I didn't pay attention much because I only came here for the bionicos...and to discover our secretary's secret. The workers/ladies are nice. They call the numbers in Spanish. Teens seem to hang out here. The wait can be long depending on how busy they are, but the ladies sure work like busy bees. Came to eat waba grill next door and saw they finally opened up! Figured I would grab something cold on a hot day. Got the mango raspado and it was probably the worst choice I made. The mango chunks were in a heavy syrup and tasted spoiled and overly sweet. Threw it right in the trash! Worst 4$ I spent! Awesome spot for licuados, esquite and ice cream! Make sure to go here for yummy Mexican treats instead of 7-11. Choco milk licuado add a banana is super bomb. So is there esquite and bionicos!!! I have been to the original one in norwalk and this one has the same layout. It was pretty empty when I went but it just opened about a week ago. The ladies working there were very nice. They speak both Spanish and English. It's super clean and looks brand new, the other location is a little older and sometimes dirty. I ordered the Pancho villa small and it was out in a couple minutes. They have really good natural juices, it's easier obviously to juice at your house if you have the items but I don't so this works great. Also when I'm craving hot Cheetos and melted cheese I can get that here as well. Plenty of parking outside in the plaza. It's good for healthy and non healthy food. Ana's Bionicos is a great place to get some fresh fruit in one of several formats. You can have a bionico (a fruit salad with your choice of fruit, covered in a sweet cream and granola), a smoothy, or even just a cup of slice mango. They offer sandwiches and other less healthy fare like "tostilocos" (I promise I'll try them soon) and 99-cents Thrifty ice cream scoops. What's not to love? I like getting their cantaloupe and honey dew smoothies. You can even get them with boba. Nice local place for a whole list of authentic mexican delights and some that are not. This is a small place that doesn't seat that many people but the dinning area is usually full when I go. Weekends mostly. The line can get a bit long at times too. But the service is pretty fast and you won't really wait for a long time. I notice people usually pick up and go. While the food is excellent in taste and quality (I don't mean healthy) The area its at is not a really nice place to stay. The dinning area kinda gets a bit muggy due to all the people and the cooking going on. I like the pictures of the food in the menu! Awesome! Vegetarian options here also. So the wife likes going to this place for some elote. They can also make things vegetarian for you..Just have ask! :) The parking lot is shared with other businesses and a local grocery store (not name brand) so the parking can kind of get hairy and packed at times. But like I said, most people pick up and go, so you'll find a spot eventually. The service is nice too. They are very kind and don't mind explaining some of the unique foods that some people are not sure of. Also willing to make changes for vegetarian people. Not sure for Vegan. You should call before you go just to make sure. For those looking to not eat Taco Bell type food or Americanized Adobo Grill but want some authentic mexican food like food truck, but not as expensive. Give this place a try. You can get Bionicos with or without crema here, and even ask for your own mix of fruits. I usually go with whatever fruits they decide to mix. Optional toppings include coconut, granola and raisins. The Crema style is so good, but if you're serious about watching the calories, just put in a good run after. The "plain fruit" option is also very good here, if you're watching your calories :) A large foam take out tray is enough for about 10 to 15 people, if it's a dessert thing. I love the way they take the time to make the tray so beautiful. I've been told you can get the fruit/granola mix Cali style - which is with cottage cheese or yogurt! Interesting too, but I have not had it yet. By the way, for the Non- Spanish speakers who posted a negative review: here is a phrase one could try: Habla Ingles? I have always had a very pleasant experience here, regardless of my poor Spanish. I think trying that phrase at least will bring someone to your aid who may not be as fluent in English, but DOES understand you and is willing to give excellent customer service. read more

This place is AMAZING! I have never even of a bionico until my boyfriend brought me one and told me to try it. I love fruit so I was like what the heck I might as well give it a try. I love them they are so good at first I was like what is in the cream mixture but now I just do not care I just love them. The place is nice they have smoothies which are really good all made with natural ingredients and fresh fruit. They have sandwiches their they are really good you can tell they care about what they do and what kind of product they give to their customers. I want to try more things on their menu but so far I have had a bionico, fruit smoothie, sandwich, and a iced mocha! All of them were really great! I'm a huge fan of bionicos and I've tried it in several locations. This place is one of the top places to go for bionicos. For a small size, they really pack in all the fruit and other good stuff in that to-go box. The fruits were fresh. The cream had just the right amount of sweetness and does not over power the fruits. I only wish that they would keep the place a bit more clean. There was a lot of people at the time of my visit and the tables needed cleaning. read more

This is my go-to for bionicos when I need to satisfy my craving. The staff is always extremely friendly and help out right away. Their bionicos are always pretty fresh tasting and the crema they use is so sweet and delicious. They make the bionicos pretty quickly and I've never had to wait maybe more than 10 minutes after I've ordered. I can't speak for the rest of the food items as I have yet to try any. I do very much like their ice cream as it's pretty cheap and they give a decent sized scoop. The smoothies are pretty good too and you can tell they are made from real fruit since it lacks the high sugary taste you get from other smoothies out there. It took me a bit to decide whether I should give this place a 4 or 5, so it's pretty good! (Sorry Ana's that I landed on the 4!). We got tortas (one chicken, one carnitas) which come with jalapenos, beans or mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado--huge and delicious! Also, we split a bionica which was bomb as expected. There was a place I used to go in San Diego that made these but they used cottage cheese instead of yogurt (which I think you can actually ask for) and had a little bit more fruit selection, but this was definitely a close second and highly recommended. Owner and staff are always friendly, this place is always packed and always serve their goodies within reasonable time. We lived in Norwark for 5yrs and travel from Orange or anytime we are near to taste these Mexican Goodies. Place is always nice and clean, staff is nice. I can probably say I have tried everything on their menu(I've been going for years). If you're trying to get a quick bite a pressed juice or a biónico will do, but if you're hungry the Tortas or tostadas are a good choice. The aguas frescas are so delicious. The fresas con crema are amazing! What I love about this place is that you can always phone in your order and they have it ready for you when you arrive. I was craving smoothies on the way home, but didn't want to venture all the way to South street to satisfy my cravings. Thanks to Yelp, I found this hole in the wall a just few minutes from my house. Nothing about the store was too appealing. They have plenty of seating, but no decorations and was a little stuffy inside. I think most people who come here take everything to go. Seems like most people that come here order their bionicos which looks super delicious, but I was really craving a smoothie at the time...so I went with the strawberry banana. The smoothie was super delicious and tasted like it was made with real fruit. Yay to non powder drinks! I would've given this place 4 stars, but we waited 20 minutes for our drinks! A good sign that this place has so many customers, but 20 minutes is way too long for two drinks. I think I will potentially give this place another shot, but maybe I'll need to call ahead of time to place my order. Tostilocos are good. the Esquite is really good. paletas are are also a good choice as a refresher. the raspados, however are toooooo sweet. they are definitely not 'fresh', seems like they add a ton of sugars/syrups maybe for flavor, but all that does is make them inedible. tried ciruelas, tamarindo and nance...in two visits, same deal with all three raspados. would go back, but not for raspados. read more

Ordered two chicken tostadas. $4.75 each. They were flavorless, no seasoning on chicken, and a huge pile of lettuce. The chicken was the precooked chicken that you buy for salads. The salsa was also no good. Not worth the money. Very disappointed. My watermelon agua Fresca was good though. read more
