I'm not sure why I haven't reviewed Angie's, but it's over due! This tiny restaurant has some of the best food, they genuinely cook everything to taste perfect! Their service is amazing everytime. My all time favorite is the taquitos plate, the chilaquiles are my second best plate. I recommend this place to anyone looking for great Mexican food.

Came by for breakfast the other day and it was a decent experience. Parking was available on the street. There seems to be a competitor right next door with similar branding. Signage on the door stated to knock for entry and the door was wide open. Staff were super cordial. There was a sign at the register stating that they are cash only. The sign was next to the tablet for taking credit cards along with a sign stating that there would be a $1 surcharge for credit cards?!? Started off with the complimentary chips which were fresh and tasty. The carne asada taco was gigantic and came with 2 soft taco shells. The carne asada was well done and the meat was quite tough and chewy... The portions were generous and there was enough meat to fill the two taco wraps.

They have the best tamales!! My husband loves their menudo!! The service is excellent!! They are always smiling.

Food was awesome, as always. The service was good. It was very busy. It's a small place. We were lucky and found a table. Since they were full, it was a normal amount of volume. People enjoyed their food and the company they were with.

Last week I tried the Mexican restaurant next door- today while passing by I decided to try Angie's- I walk in place is clean and the aroma is exquisite. I order a small menudo to go and a cafe de olla which is just basically coffee with cinnamon. The staff was friendly- cooks looked clean. First taste of the coffee was strong yet flavorful. I give it a 4 I get home serve my menudo which was very very clean and smelled delicious. Tripe was cut in large pieces - I had to trim them down- it was very tender and cooked well. Not enough hominy though but otherwise it was delicious! I'll definitely be visiting again next time I'm craving menudo. I also tried a taco de lengua (meat was tough not cooked enough and no flavor). All in all because of the staff and delicious menudo I highly recommend trying them out!

This is a small restaurant. Sitting down in the dining area gave me flashbacks of being at an aunt's dining room table. Service is excellent. They keep your coffee cup warm and we were asked if we liked our meal or if there was anything they could do. Nice! My husband ordered the Chile relleno burrito, with green salsa (wet burrito). I tried a piece of it was sooo good. It was an actual chile relleno with beans. The beans are tasty and the green salsa is gold. Super tangy and flavorful. I ordered the red chilaquiles. Which I was pleasantly surprised they folded the egg with the chips! I prefer it this way over the eggs on top. The salsa was very good and I asked for raw onion on top of mine. I can't wait to come back and try the green chilaquiles! My only critique would be that I would love to have the option to get queso cotija or fresco! Also an honorable mention are the chips and salsa! Soooo good. They serve it with a side of lime wedges and cilantro and salsa! It's delicious with or without them! Definitely worth a try if you're in the area or live nearby.y

Came here for the first time with my husband and we were blown away by how delicious the food was and how amazing and friendly all the staff were. We both customized a plate of chilaquiles and were blown away by how good everything was. We can't wait to come back. This is definitely a new regular spot for us.

Classic old school Mexi/Cali restaurant with all the regulars. I've only ordered menudo to go from here, but decided to stop by and try some dishes in house. Tried the Chile verde tostada and three tacos (lengua, chicharrón and carnitas). The GF had the hard taco plate (one chicken and one beef). Food and service was pretty good. Nothing really to complain about and dishes were solid, but all we did was compare the food to other places that did it better. Could you find better carnitas? Sure. Same with the chile verde, hard tacos, etc. Granted there were different places for each, so have to give it up to this place for doing everything solid. Parking is rough when busy, which is why we haven't eaten here before, but if you go after 1:30pm like we did, the place is pretty empty. Down side is they may be out of some items that late. I think we only had issue with one item, but they have so many other options it's easy to find a replacement :)

Been long time since last visit to Angie's but glad we came. Service was great and cozy environment to kick back. Had machaca breakfast plate and nopales and eggs breakfast plate. Both served hot with ample portions. Machaca was tender and seasoned well and nopales soft and blended in well with eggs. All this goodness stuffed in between your choice of tortillas.... can't go wrong!

Food quality wasn't worth the price of $90 I wish we got good quality. The Menudo, you have to put more seasoning and salt yourself to have good flavor.

Great mexiacn food chefs and clean kitchen even when busiest.

Just wanted to share my experience with huevos rancheros plate, the eggs were cooked the way I like them, the carne con salsa Verde was delicious and filled with the flavors that take me back to when growing up and my mom used to cook. Highly recommend this plate for b-fast and a side bowl of menudo. The service was excellent from the friendly serving staff Priscilla and Elena were very accommodating and kept watch to make sure they had all my food needs taken care of. I will definitely continue coming here and trying more dishes and experiencing the food and delicious aguas frescas. Israel the owner was around helping to move things along and being available for anything the customers need. Can say enough about this place!

If you're looking for some good Mexican food, whether it be breakfast or lunch look no further as this place is the real deal !!! I came here on a recommendation from a friend of mine who lives in the area and said he's been coming here since he was a kid, not fancy by any means, but who needs that if you're going for the food, not the location. The lady that answered the phone who I think was the owner was super helpful and helping me make a decision to choose my first meal from this place After listening to what she had told me and recommending some stuff, I ended up with the Chilaquiles and I told her not spicy and these things were done right, my wife ordered the chili Rellano plate and I took one bite of these things and was hooked also. Some days are just good days for a good Mexican breakfast and believe me, you will not be disappointed by trying this place out. The Chilaquiles are excellent. The beans are good and the rice is good also. They do have multiple options for vegetarians and meat lovers, so do yourself a favor and come check this place out.

I just had the chile verde plate, I literally destroyed it. It was delicious. Customer service was amazing. Her name was Alex thanks

Stopped by to pick up menudo because my boyfriend was under the weather. It looks like it is a small family own restaurant. It was very clean. The server was very friendly. She sat us down quickly and service was prompt. They have champurrado during the cold weather, and we ordered 1. It was very tasty! The texture was very creamy, and not too sweet. They also offered homemade chips and dips. The chips came out warm. Menudo was served hot, I mean very hot. It was flavorful that is perfect for the cold weather. Will come back again for menudo!

Steak rancheros - dine in included chips, salsa, limes, cilantro/onion, and choice of corn or flour tortilla.

We were craving some warm pho on a cold night, and Soup Shop sounded like the perfect spot. The plaza Soup Shop is located in is usually super crowded, but if you go after 9pm when most of the other restaurants and shops are closed, you'll find plenty of parking. Write your name down on the waiting list at the front podium and then wait for your name to be called. They have a few seats to wait right outside the door. Once we were seated, we were given menus. I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat! A little dry, but I appreciated that it was nice and lean. The flavor of the soup is really good. Pho Ribeye was also tasty! Hit the spot.

We arrived a little before 7pm on a Saturday. We're surprised to see so many Asian restaurants at this location! While the parking lot in the front was packed, we're able to find some empty spots at the back. The inside of the restaurant looked nice and modern. There's no wait and we got seated immediately. It appeared that their tables didn't have designated servers. While we could get help from any server, it could be quite confusing when we got asked the same questions from different people. Service was friendly, anyway. We each ordered a different garlic noodle. I had the Pan Seared Salmon with Garlic Parmesan Cheese sauce. It came with yummy Grilled Cajun Zucchini. The salmon was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside while moist inside. It's tasty on its own even without the delicious garlic parmesan sauce. The noodle was garlicky and flavorful. I had a small piece of my husband's filet mignon beef, and it's pretty good with a kick to it. Our daughter's Sauteed Veggies & Tofu looked good as well, but she said the sauce from the vegetables made her noodles soggy and not as desirable, and she preferred the noodles on our plates better. Our fellow Yelpers didn't disappoint, now we know where to go next time we're craving for garlic noodles.

The broth is the star here. It's rich, flavorful, slightly sweet with a tangy kick, pretty sure there's some tangerine going on in there. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. Sticky rice was soft and actually tasted like it was made fresh, not reheated from yesterday. Waitress was attentive and nice. Place itself is small, clean, modern, very mom-and-pop but done right, not rundown. I will definitely come back.

I like how's there's more dressing as you get the taste of it in every bite. The dressing however was a little too fish forward for me and you don't get much acid. IMO, the fish sauce and lemon (acid) should balance each other out. They use big tomatoes cut into wedges (as opposed to cherry tomatoes which I normally have at other Thai restaurants), And they give a good amount of food. Chow Mein: my boyfriend ate this. I absolutely loved the crispy bottom layer because it added such a satisfying crunch to every bite. The inside stayed really juicy and flavorful with a good balance of pork, shrimp, and chives. The Juicy Pork Dumplings had soup inside, which was rich and savory. I've had soup dumplings before where the wrapper breaks apart too easily, but these held together nicely while still staying soft and delicate. The Wonton in Spicy Sauce was my personal favorite from the entire meal. The spicy sauce flavor was savory with a little sweetness. I'm typically not good with spice, so this is at a spice level that should be very manageable for everyone. I absolutely loved the spicy sauce, so I started putting it on everything. Definitely put the sauce on the chicken fried rice! The Chicken Fried Rice was a great dish to pair with everything else that we ordered. With several orders of entrees, a solid rice dish is a must order for any Chinese meal. The rice had a nice savory flavor that I enjoyed, and there was a generous amount of chicken mixed throughout the dish. I even asked the waitress if they do anything special with the fried rice because it tasted better than many other restaurants. It felt comforting and balanced compared to some of the heavier dishes. The Dry Fried String Beans were cooked perfectly with a slight crispness while still being tender. The garlic and seasoning gave them so much flavor that it honestly didn't even feel like I was eating vegetables. I do have to note that these were very much on the salty side, so if you don't like foods that are too salty, I would choose a different dish. The Orange Chicken was really crispy and juicy, which I appreciated because soggy orange chicken is always disappointing to me. The sauce had a nice citrus flavor while still keeping that classic sweet savory taste. The Spring Rolls were simple with vegetable filling on the inside with a crispy outside. I would try a different appetizer next time. The Kung Pao Shrimp was packed with flavor and had a really satisfying combination of textures. The shrimp were tender, and the peanuts added a great crunch to the dish. I thought the sauce had a really nice balance of spice and savoriness without becoming overwhelming. Another dish I really enjoyed was the Beef Roll Pancake. The pancake itself was nice and chewy throughout each bite. The sliced beef with green onions and sauce all wrapped together made every bite really flavorful and satisfying. For drinks, I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. I really liked that the jasmine tea flavor was noticeable instead of being overly sweet like some milk teas can be. The boba had a soft chewy texture, and the drink itself paired perfectly with the spicy and savory dishes from the meal. Staff: All of the staff members were quick and friendly Ambiance: Indoor seating only. A good amount of parking in the parking lot that is shared with other shops in the plaza.
