Awful. Absolute the worst dining experience we have ever had. We had a large party reservation made over a week in advance for a Saturday night. It took over an hour for drinks to come out, the food was over priced and below average even for bar food. The whole experience was just the absolute worst. No one ever came out to apologize, no manager jumped in to help, no bartender delivered drinks. At the very end we discovered our separate checks had all been put together when entered into the computer even though we had stated we needed separate and they had said no problem. We had given them jersey numbers for our team, something we've done many, many times without issue. 45 minutes later some of us still didn't have checks. There was absolutely nothing enjoyable about this experience. One of the dads finally asked to see a manager. When she came out she tried to blame it all on us. She pointed out that one of our dads was helping sort the check out as though this forgave the situation. We pointed out that that shouldn't have had to happen. She never apologized. Her response was that we had a party of 40 (actually 30). We pointed out that the were very aware we were coming. We're a hockey team and do dinners like this regularly. We are always patient and have never experienced anything like this. We had been incredibly patient up to the 45 minutes it took for the check. No one complained or was rude to the servers. I worked in restaurants for years when I was younger. None of the things that should have happened when the service went south did. The manager was rude when she finally came to see us. The food wasn't awful but the service was miserable. We waited over 50 minutes for 2 kids pizzas (put in as an appetizer), a salad and chicken tenders. When our food arrived the pepperoni was burnt, the provolone cheese on the salad was hard as if it had been sitting out all day, the add-on wings had barely any sauce and the tenders were cold. I opted for potato salad and was surprised to see a $3.99 charge for a side of potato salad when it was advertised. The manager, Steven, came over and offered a free dessert. Parking is by I think Holiday Inn and you need to go inside and get ticket for $20; so, we just parked across street for free. Place looked comfortable and lively. However, it took a few minutes before our server came over. They weren't busy, but we took advantage and looked over menu selection. Prices are reasonable with hearty portions. We had the 20 wings half traditional/medium, half spicy Parmesan( $20.99). Both were awesome. We had the fried calamari ($11) and it was good too. The Bloody Mary ($8) came with a buffalo wing and it was great. According to legend, Anchor Bar invented the Buffalo wing back in the 1960's. Now it is a small chain franchise with locations in New York, California and Texas. I don't eat a lot of Buffalo wings but I would eat them here, every time. They are the best. Prices are very reasonable and the service was outstanding. Seriously, there aren't a lot of decent eating venues in this area. She told me it would be a 99 cents charge for that. I also ordered my wings well-done and extra crispy. Our waitress came over within 5-10 mins and got our drink order. We both got a Long Island which I definitely recommend, they do make good, strong drinks. When she stopped back by to grab our order (onion rings for app, order of boneless wings, and 2 side salads) we ordered another round of drinks, trying to think ahead a little because service was slow because our waitress had multiple tables and a huge party of 20+ people. After awhile our app came out (host dropped it off to us). The onion rings were pretty tasty and a good portion size. Our second round of drinks still had not arrived by this point. Fast forward a little while, one of the managers (I'm assuming) dropped off our boneless wings. They unfortunately were pretty dried out but we weren't going to complain, we were so hungry that we were willing to settle. The problem was that was didn't have any silverware. We waited a few mins for waitress to come over so we could ask for some, but she never stopped by. After 10+ mins, my boyfriend got up and went up to a staff member that was cleaning tables and he was nice enough to grab us some utensils. I don't fault a waitress on food; they have no control in that. But drinks were empty throughout the meal. In 2 and a half hours, we had one refill- and that refill we asked for, and then waited about 10 more minutes. At the end of our meal, our waitress drops the check but forgets the pen... we wait a few minutes but with a toddler, 2+ hours in a restaurant is a bit much. He walked back to the opening of the kitchen to ask for one, as we heard people chit chatting....... There is a sitting place behind the wall where all wait staff we had seen were sitting AND SMOKING. In the beginning, we gave grace on behalf of the sign. But to find them all sitting there, smoking- after minimal service and mostly inedible food...... it was a massive disappointment on our part. read more
