We got a cheese pizza for the kids and 20 traditional wings split between Honey Garlic and Spicy Parmesan Garlic. The wings were so good--crispy, saucy, and full of flavor. It's been over a decade since I have last been to an anchor bar and this time I tried this place with my bro. I was in town and I wanted to try THE original, even though it looks like this is a mini chain now. I did carry out original wings and boneless wings and they were amazing, exactly what I wanted after a long drive, needless to say they did not disappoint. Initially I was hesitant with the prices as some other places will charge up to $2 per boneless wing and each one turns out to be smaller than a chicken McNuggets. Anchor's carry out portions definitely had the value there. My regular portion of bone in wings had 10 wings and some were super big. I sat at bar but it looked like the bartender had the bar and most the tables. The old "short staff" thing. Overall good food good service. Second night had Amy as bartender. Super awesome.
