About 2 years later we discovered dozens of loose and some broken tiles. Mr Bizzell (owner) came out this one and only time and tried to convince us that the ice storm was the cause. Being naive we originally accepted this, later discovering that this was not true. Over the next couple of years the problem got much worse. Tiles on the steps leading to the front door and back door came loose and broke. A painter stepped on another edge tile and it broke and caused him to take a painful fall. During this time my wife underwent several serious surgeries each requiring a wheelchair, walker or cane. It was far too risky for her to use either the front or back door as she would have had to walk across all the loose and broken tiles, then step off where the tiles were completely loose and broken. We live in Sun City, and her senior friends were apprehensive about coming over to visit and assist her during rehab. As the tile and health issues continued to deteriorate we both called Mr Bizzell numerous times seeking help. He refused every time. Our last call was from my wife while she was using a walker, and Mr Bizzell refused to even talk to her. We then gave him written notice of the hazard and he still failed to respond. Reluctantly we went to Small Claims Court. Mr Bizzell employed a Legal Firm dealing in Construction Law. Despite the huge disparity in legal expertise facts are facts. The Judge ruled against Town Square Floors and awarded me 100% of the repairs and 100% of my court costs. As of this Review, Town Square Floors has ignored our request to honor the judges decision, and continue to blow us off as they have from the very beginning. It makes us wonder how a company that is so clearly responsible (and confirmed by the Judge) for the defect has no problem, just walking away and leaving the customer holding the bag. Maybe even worse is how Town Square Floors appears to have no remorse for their treatment of a 75 year old severely handicapped woman. What are the priorities, ethics and moral values of those operating Town Square Floors?

Want to save time, money and a whole lot of hassle? Just start with Lisa @Floor King…read more Carpet was orginally installed in three rooms of a house I bought from the first owner a few years ago. Love the house, hate the carpet. After reaching out to five local flooring stores I went with Floor King and Lisa handled my order. I couldn't have been happier. Since the existing wood flooring in the rest of the house was six years old, matching it was tough. Plus, as a developer-built home they relabelled the manufacturer's name for the wood with their own "brand" name (i.e., they just made it up. Swell.) Fortunately Lisa patiently worked with her Shaw rep (I knew who made the wood even if I didn't know the name) and they found a match in just about ten days one the holiday period. They were moving. Lisa brought the planned sample out, and once I checked the match she confirmed the square footage estimate I gave her, wrote the order up and I executed it after that. Installation was done the day after they received the product and Romeo, who did my install job, showed up right on time, went straight to work, no breaks, no goofing around talking; he just got the job done. A really nice guy who does good work. So if you're thinking about who to go with for flooring, go back to the top and read my second sentence!

There was no pressure to close the deal now or anything, just happy to answer my questions and let me make the decision. A few months later, I finally reached back out to start the work. Dustin promptly got me on the schedule. Austin then came out to verify everything and help make sure I had the materials I would need. The team always communicated very well. Made sure I knew when they would arrive and any impacts to the timeline, which included keeping me posted on shipping delays of our shower pan. Austin came in and on the first day, made sure to lay down tarps and other floor protection as needed to protect the parts not under construction. He made sure he understood my vision for the tile and then went to work. He dealt with common remodeling issues, like a slightly out of plumb wall, very well. Bottom line, Young Tile is an excellent partner who is well worth the value they are providing to your tile project.
