They offered Byredo Mojave ghost and it smelled amazing! The room is gorgeous with a view of the Hollywood hills and the Walt Disney museum. The amenities that come with the room is amazing; the dry sauna was great, they have a relaxation room as well and we loved the tea apothecary as well. I just wish they have tea cups in the rooms! Had to call room service to bring it. The room service and the pool size service were amazing! However. The San laurel dining service is good but it can be better. The hotel itself is beautiful and luxurious with thoughtful details. I was admiring all the beautiful marble from the floors to walls to coffee tables. The floor to ceiling windows gives the hotel an open, airy, serene feel too. Our room felt so thoughtfully designed with a spacious bathroom, a little table, and an unbelievable shower with the best shower pressure and three different settings including a rain shower. Our beds weren't the biggest (full sized not Queen), but we all still slept so well with the plush coziness of it all. The on-site restaurant (San Laurel by Jose Andres) and bar (The Beaudry) were both phenomenal with excellent food, drinks, and service. The gym has great equipment and is kept super clean and organized - they have peloton, peloton rowers, plenty of treadmills, and a decent weight area. They have bottled boxed water, fruit, and a water refill station there as well as complimentary disposable headphones too. The Conrad is a great option for the DTLA area and we can't wait to come back!

It's such a big city and we wanted to stay somewhere central and safe. We were on a girls trip with our daughters. First, our check in experience was great. Michelle checked us in and was sure to let us know about the amenities available. She gave us completamentary drink tickets, and extra waters which was so kind. We had requested adjoining rooms which was so convenient with our two girls. Our rooms were spacious, and clean and perfect. The lobby always had infused water for everyone, and some kind of treat. In the mornings, there was fresh ( surprisingly amazing) coffee and pastries. Another day, we came down and found fresh watermelon juice, and bruschetta with tomato and cheese. Another day, there were petit fours for us. A HUGE perk of staying there is the car service. They will drive you anywhere from the hotel within a three mile radius and you can call them to pick you up and bring you back as well. We used this s much and it really saved us alot of money, and we felt lots safer in the company of their wonderful drivers instead of random Uber drivers or walking around in an unknown city. Robin, Henry, Robert, and Oscar made our trip so memorable. All of the folks that worked there made us feel like royalty. Every time we stepped towards the doors, they were being held open for us. Just spectacular service! We even got a late checkout and Roberto ( nice eyebrows) was so sweet to bring new keys up to our room since our old ones would deactivate before we checked out. When I say I'd recommend this place to everyone..I'm saying it with my chest. It was really the best hotel experience I have had in a very long time. 3 of the drivers we chatted with had been with the company for 30 years! Omni must treat their employees well and because of that, their customer service shines. It's service like this that will make us lifelong customers.

I was always welcomed whether it was someone opening the door as I entered or the people at the reception. My flight arrived early and they were accommodating to provide me with an early check in. The elevators are close to the check-in desk and there was never a long wait for the elevator. I had a room with a king bed. The room was adequate in size and the bed was pretty comfortable. The bathroom has a separate walk in shower and separate tub. Where I feel this place is a bit outdated was the lack of USB ports for charging. The desk had an outlet built in but one of the power sources was not working. I had to do some work and needed to plug my laptop into the one working plug. But I also needed my cell phone and wanted to keep it charged. I had to unplug the lamp to use the power supply. There is another plug on the nightstand but that would have meant leaving the phone on the other side of the room and I needed the phone while I was working. But because I had to unplug the lamp, I had to work in the dark (it was evening). I can't remember the last time I was in a hotel room that didn't have USB ports so you could charge your phone at the desk and at the nightstand. I could have called the desk and I'm sure they would have given me another room but I was all settled in. Movies; this is the first time I have been in a hotel of this caliber where you had to pay for movies. Certainly I have been in other hotels where you pay for "some" movies, but not all. Usually there is free Showtime or HBO. No, I didn't travel to watch a movie, but sometimes it's nice when winding down in the evening or to have on in the background when working. They did offer some recent movies and even some that I think are still in theaters. Of course I would expect to pay; but most other top named hotels I would be able to watch movies for free. They do provide the opportunity to log into your Netflix and/or Amazon account.

No one informed us at check-in that housekeeping only comes if you request it. Because of that, we were left without toilet paper and had no idea we needed to call for basic room service. That should have been explained from the beginning. The complimentary breakfast was average at best and definitely didn't make up for the poor service. I've stayed at everything from budget hotels to high-end resorts, and I can honestly say I've received better customer service at a Motel 6 than I did here. Overall, the lack of communication, surprise fees, poor follow-through, and disappointing customer service made this a frustrating stay. Our room was ready on time and the service from all of the staff was lovely. Check in and out was easy. I did find the parking of 50$ to be high, but it was valet and they got our car right away. The place is not new, but they keep it nicely maintained. We wanted extra towels and had them in less than 10 minutes and this was late at night. We would stay again.

We were quickly placed in a new room at no extra charge. We had breakfast at the restaurant once (mainly for the convenience) but didn't care too much for it. There are so many better options nearby. Overall, a positive experience.

I was there for a five night stay. First of all, the location is at the edge of Little Tokyo, so there are lots of good eating places. If you feel like taking the Metro rail system to explore Los Angeles, there's a station a couple of blocks away (the E Line will take you west to Santa Monica). Unfortunately, there are a number of homeless that wander around the area, but not too many, especially compared to the Garment District further south. As far as the rooms go, the beds are very firm and comfortable. Air conditioning/temperature control worked well. I was surprised there was no microwave in the room. Just about every hotel has a microwave in every room but not this one. Bathroom was small with only 2 towel hooks; it could have used a couple of towel racks because there was nowhere to hang all the different towels (bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths). WiFi was strong and didn't have to login constantly. Only 3 out of the 4 elevators were working, which made for long waits, especially since the elevator cars were so small. Many of the ice machines were out of order, including our floor (7th), 17, 20, and 21 (construction on 19th). Had to use ice machines on 16 and 18. And there was only an out-of-order sign on the door to the ice machine on the 21st floor after I made a complaint. The parking fee of $49 per day for guests seems excessive, especially when there was a day where the self-parking ran out of space (I think because there was some sort of convention at the hotel) and we couldn't do self-parking. $25 per day would seem more reasonable. The hotel seems to be very popular with tourists, especially those from Japan and Korea who were there to watch a baseball game (Shohei Ohtani is very popular), so it's a bit busy during baseball season. Quite a few tour buses parked out front. And the valet area is very small for pick-ups and drop-offs.

Then there was a queen ant on the bed. That one I removed. The housekeeping service was not great unfortunately. The bedding had orange and red stains in a few spots and despite having the required signage outside our door stating that we needed services, we weren't provided any housekeeping services at all:( But it was a cute little spot. I was in too much of rush to order individual items off the menu, but the premade items were delicious. I took a video of all the food items, but it looks like there is a time limit of 30 seconds for video uploads. That just tells you how many buffet items there were, since it took me more than 30 seconds to record everything!

Once there, our cabana was perfectly set up with a personalized name stand--a great touch. The cabana was spacious with comfy seating, a mini fridge (stocked with 3 waters, 3 sodas, and a complimentary fruit platter), plus fresh towels, lounge chairs, and sunscreen available for everyone at the pool's front desk. A couple of logistics to know: parking is valet only at the hotel and it was $65, so I recommend finding a smaller, more affordable lot in the surrounding area if you want to save some money. Staff was so friendly and attentive the whole day. There's a QR code you can use to order food and drinks right to your cabana, which was super convenient. It was a hot day and a really nice gentleman kept stopping by to offer extra ice--such a thoughtful detail. Bathrooms are just outside the glass pool enclosure (key card needed for re-entry), but they're large, spotless, and even have showers. The pool itself is big with a separate jacuzzi and you get stellar views of the LA Live area from the rooftop. Watching the sunset from up there was the perfect way to close out our day. We're officially hooked on using JW for our pool days and will definitely be back!

The room in terms of design did not disappoint. I booked this place as a staycation option to get work done and with the minimalistic aesthetic and minimal distractions I was able to accomplish what I sought out . Overall, the mini perks like the free waters, which were brands that I normally purchase as well as the welcome drink helped to make up for the minor issues with the room. It's a boutique hotel . I think if I did paid more, I would be more upset and also expect more but given this price point, during low season it's a fair price . Michael, who was working the reception desk and Café was also very friendly and welcoming, and answered my questions to the best of his ability . Overall, the people that work here are really lovely, especially Kofi and Felix , great job hiring managers! I would book again without hesitation for the right price .

4.6/5 -- Apparently I Came to Montebello to Sleep, Eat Waffles and Consider Golf…read more Home2 Suites by Hilton -- Montebello, CA Stay: 9/8/26-9/10/26 This was easily the best hotel I stayed at during my Greater LA trip, which surprised me because I arrived expecting "perfectly functional Hilton." Instead, Home2 Suites apparently decided to operate a small republic of comfort next to a golf course. First, the place understands both introverts and extroverts. You can self-check-in and reach your room with minimal human ceremony, or deal with the friendly staff if you actually enjoy speaking to mammals. The lobby is modern, clean and relaxed without looking like somebody hired an interior designer specifically to intimidate people wearing shorts. Across the street is a pond, palm trees, the Montebello golf course and driving range. If you can get a room facing that direction, DO IT. My window view looked like Southern California had briefly cleaned itself up for a brochure. After temperatures hit roughly 104°F, the complimentary shaded underground parking also became less an amenity and more a humanitarian service. My room was huge, clean and unusually comfortable, with a kitchenette, sink, microwave, genuinely large refrigerator and plenty of living space. The bathroom has a sexy minimalist thing going on, with a roomy glass shower. The bed and pillows? Dangerous. I checked in around 3 PM, got comfortable, started watching TV, skipped dinner entirely and eventually fell asleep around 11:30. I had apparently ceased being a tourist and become a house cat. The TV also allows access to streaming options including YouTube, Apple TV and Max-type apps, although the regular television channel selection is fairly basic. Then breakfast happened. Breakfast runs 6-9 AM, criminal hours for civilization, but this was easily the strongest hotel breakfast of my Southern California trip. Eggs, sausage patties, potatoes, pretzel-style breakfast buns, pastries, bagels, cereals, cheeses including Swiss, Pepper Jack and cheddar, yogurt, fruit cups, oatmeal and a small botanical garden of oatmeal toppings: granola, dried banana, cranberries, brown sugar, almonds and coconut. The oatmeal itself deserves recognition because it remained oatmeal rather than hardening into municipal infrastructure. Then there are the waffles. You can construct your own, and apparently surrender all remaining nutritional dignity by applying chocolate chips and red-white-blue sprinkles until breakfast resembles an elementary-school election celebration. Fresh fruit toppings/compotes were available too. Coffee was strong and hot; juices included apple, orange and strawberry-kiwi. I also appreciated seeing both regular milk and oat milk. The breakfast room is attractive and comfortably seats a decent crowd, although mornings can become LOUD. Apparently several guests awaken at 6:30 AM already possessing complete conversational agendas. The gym is legitimately useful rather than the usual hotel punishment chamber containing one treadmill and a dumbbell somebody stole from physical therapy. There are multiple cardio machines, weight equipment and dumbbells reaching about 75 pounds. Very clean and nicely arranged. The indoor pool area was clean, although visually I found the pool itself rather dainty and uncharming. It exists. It contains water. Congress need not investigate further. Now for the deductions. The walls are thin. One neighbor's phone alarm went off around 5 AM. Another apparently believed television should continue into the wee hours. On the opposite side, somebody snored like an overfed cow negotiating a mortgage. One night around 3 AM I also caught the smell of marijuana from outside. That happened only once, but congratulations to the nocturnal skunk delegation. The shower was the other weakness. Water pressure was maybe 6/10, and after roughly ten minutes the floor began backing up because the drain moved with the urgency of California freeway construction. It took around 15 minutes afterward to clear. Yet despite these quirks, I couldn't punish the hotel much. The room was too spacious, the bed too comfortable, breakfast too good, parking too useful, gym too competent and that golf-course view too peaceful. So mathematically I land around 4.6/5, which I'm happily rounding to 5 stars. I would absolutely stay here again. Next time I'm bringing golf clubs because staring at the Montebello course and driving range from my room without playing it started feeling like unfinished business. Home2 Suites Montebello wasn't perfect. It was better than that: comfortable, useful, occasionally ridiculous, surprisingly peaceful and the kind of place that made leaving feel mildly inconvenient. Our room faced the rear of the hotel overlooking the golf course and consisted of the beautiful lake. The room was spacious and clean, and fully equipped with things that make you feel like you're at home: plates, cups, bowls, utensils, + a full sized fridge. Bonus points because complimentary breakfast is offered daily. Hours of operation M-Fri are from 6am-9am. Weekend hours are from 7am-10am. This is absolutely THE BEST complimentary breakfast spread I have ever had the pleasure of taking part in. Granted, most places I've stayed @ doesn't offer this. Here you will find a waffle station with all of the toppings you could imagine, eggs, ham, sausage patties, assortment of cereals, yogurt, fruit cups, and fresh fruit. While I am not sure how great the options are for a vegetarian standpoint but I did notice meatless patties. My complaints: 1)The lighting within the room are positioned horribly. Whether you decide to use the restroom light or the ones located in the dining|kitchen area as a nightlight, they are both extremely bright making it difficult to sleep. My toddler and I struggled to sleep soundly due to us being sensitive sleepers. 2)Someone triggered the fire alarm during our stay. Walking down 6 flights of stairs with a toddler is already tough but adding in groups and groups of other patrons caused for more traffic than I was ready for. Once we made it back to the lobby we were told it was a false alarm. **insert EYE ROLLS emoji** 4 stars overall. Our stay was comfortable and parking was never an issue. Home2 Suites by Hilton LA Montebello comes recommended. I'd stay here again but would probably bring eye masks for myself and my toddler.
