If I could give them 10 out of five stars, I would. I want to give a big shout out to the owner, Mo. She was so kind and welcoming, and ensures that her staff are too. I truly enjoyed this spot and I would say that if I'm in town again, I would come back! I highly recommend it because I enjoyed the food, the vibes, the music, and the ambience was perfect. I really like the concept of the brunch board as well. What a beautiful venue in downtown Saint Augustine. Below is my rating of the food we ordered: *Empanadas: 5/5 *French Toast Sticks: 5/5 *Egg, cheese, & sausage croissant: 5/5 *Orange Juice Mimosa: 5/5 I came back for the Sunday Brunch Buffet and I was NOT disappointed. Delicious food w/ excellent service. Mo and the waitstaff were still so kind (insert big heart here).

husband found this place for breakfast, it's nearby to our hotel. The doco inside is very nice, modern and classy. The menu is extensive, be prepared for a lot of reading to do. I ordered their steak taco and husband got their simple egg breakfast. Wow, the presentation of the food on a board is impressive! Make food tastes better! love this place, so we decided to come back again tomorrow to try more item. And the chef Mo came to our table and very friendly! It's definitely a place you will want to repeat!

This was such a wonderful find! The atmosphere is great, very relaxing. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing!! The cheese grits are absolutely the best grits I've ever had - with 6 of us in our party we were able to share them, as well as the Bruncharcuterie boards we had (honeyed brie, zesty pimento and the cinnamon sugar trio). We enjoyed it so much we went back a second time and we were greeted by the owner and treated like old friends! We tried some different menu items (though we had to get those grits again!!) and everything was fantastic! If you are looking for a nice breakfast place in St A you need to go here; it was fantastic and it will be a regular stop every time I'm in St A.

A very interesting experience! The food was great but the service was meh. My friend has a gluten allergy so she had to send back her hummus (it had crackers) but it took like 15 min for the hummus to come out. I guess the chickpeas take some time to mash up. Also there were many open tables but the wait was 30 min to get a table. I liked that they offered the menu on little tablets and I liked the inside decor of the restaurant.

Excellent service and Excellent food. The food is served on a display board that allows sharing of the savory and the sweet.

This place is SUCH an upgrade from the old location! The restaurant is spacious, full of awesome decor, a huge wine cellar, and beautiful bar! I absolutely love this place!! Their brunch breakfast boards are tasty and reasonably priced for being in the middle of St Augustine. We also got their coffees, which were pretty tasty. Our server was absolutely hilarious and made the experience so much more enjoyable! And their menus are electronic and so cool! I was so impressed with this new place and the food was great! I would definitely recommend for brunch and drinks!!

Came here for brunch with my husband. Lovely restaurant. Food is served on wood boards and messages written on them. Service was very good our server was very funny. I ordered the French toast and sausage, and my husband ordered the steak and eggs. Our orders came combined in one board. Individual boards would have been cuter, I think. My French toast was a letdown. Tasted like toast with cinnamon Sprinkleed on it, and it was kinda cold. It didn't seem to be dipped in custard as I'm accustomed to. Big womp. My husband's steak eggs and potatoes were perfectly cooked and generous portion. I had a nice experience and glad I came. I would recommend this restaurant. And I'll order something different next time I visit.

Our first time stepping into Ancient City Brunch Bar in the heart of historic Saint Augustine didn't disappoint. From the moment you walk in, its cozy yet modern atmosphere, and had a welcoming vibe. Whether you're craving sweet or savory, there's something to satisfy every palate. The brunch board is a must-try, with delicious quiche, waffles topped with fruit, croissants, brie, crispy bacon, and empanadas. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Whether you're a local or just passing through Saint Augustine, be sure to add this brunch spot to your must-visit list.

Ham and cheese croissant and french toast. 10/10
    Steph A.

Visited St. Augustine and found this gem by pure luck. I tried other "recommended" places around the small town, yet this one had the best food. I tried the French toast, and my partner tried the ham and cheese croissant, they were pretty tasty and both came in one long board (charcuterie board style) which made it easy to share. Have brunch and/or breakfast here over the other "popular" spots. Also service was amazing, but it was the same anywhere we went. Lastly, you can take cute pictures because the place has a nice clean ambience aesthetic.

Passing through the town and saw this place on tik tok had good brunch. We ordered eggs potatoes, bacon, croissant sandwich, and pancakes. The food was delicious. The food did take a while to make and there were only one other table there so not sure why food took so long. Otherwise such a cute little place to grab a bite if you're hungry!

    Do they take reservations?

No, it is walk in. First come first serve. If going on a weekend I'd suggest get there when they first open. It gets packed, and seating inside is very limited.

The Ice Plant location was historically St. Augustine's first power and ice complex. Now the building has been revitalized and has The Ice Plant and The St. Augustine Distillery. The St. Augustine Distillery is connected to The Ice Plant and is a great tour to check out right before heading to grab food at the restaurant. There are a variety of guided and self-guided tours. My spouse and I checked out the self-guided tour right before we grabbed dinner at The Ice Plant. The tour isn't particularly long but was filled with information. After the tour, we headed upstairs to the restaurant. The restaurant feels really spacious with its super tall ceilings. There was lots to look at reminding us of the previous use of the building. We ordered the hand cut fries, strawberry and beet salad, and the gochujang marinated pork chop. I also ordered a few of their drinks, each one featuring different types of ice to fit the drink. Honestly all the food and the drinks were so good, but the easy standout of the night for both my spouse and I were the pork chops. These might have been the best pork chops I've ever had in my life. The pork chops were incredibly tender and juicy, not dry at all. I was expecting it to be a little dry, as I feel like pork chop can sometimes get overcooked, but no. These were so juicy and tender. I asked our server how the pork chop was cooked. Our server said that the pork chops were cooked sous vide, which makes a lot of sense as to how they were so tender. I've already told my spouse if we are in the St. Augustine area again, I would make a special trip just to get these pork chops again, they were that good. I really enjoyed this restaurant. This was my favorite spot we checked out in the St. Augustine area, if you are ever passing by the area, check The Ice Plant out!

The Bloody Mary is where it lost me. $15 is a serious price for a cocktail, and mine arrived as a tall glass of ice with what was left over poured around it. By the time I was a few sips in, it was mostly meltwater. For that money I'd expect the drink to outlast the ice. Suggestion for the house: given the name, lean into it. Send everyone home with a free bag of ice -- at least then I'd feel like I paid for something I got to keep. Would go back for the food. Would think twice before ordering another cocktail.
