After the Baltimore Museum of Art I was looking for a spot for a quick bite and came across &pizza. The restaurant was empty so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I ordered "the Maverick" and was pleasantly surprised. It's a quick fire, thin crust pizza place but the ingredients are fresh and staff is good. The Maverick was essentially a meat lover pizza but the thing that set it apart was the basil pesto sauce that is drizzled across the pizza. It made a huge difference. They also have their own of sodas which is the only soda option. The root beer was good but it did have a lot of sugar, even for a soda. Glad I stopped by. I can see why John's Hopkins students frequent the spot. read more

Whoever workin the night shift on 12/10/25 is mentally incompetent and you can let them know if anyone in charge sees this. Walked in to pick my order up and the first thing said to me was "we don't have any extra pizzas" like ok just here to pick up my food I paid for. Get my food after being hassled for it just to get home to see both my pizzas and garlic knots messed up and not how I ordered. Interesting experience and a waste of money. Great job! read more

&Pizza is quite popular amongst JHU students so you'll often see a line, but don't mistake that for thinking their food is good. There are just so many deals available (BOGO, $3 pizzas, etc.) that make it even cheaper than cooking so many students will go just for that. However, the pizza is objectively just bad. Half the specialty pizzas they sell are so salty they legally have to list a sodium warning. The store is always understaffed so I've had to wait over 2 hours for an online order for ASAP before, the pizzas are constantly covered with the wrong toppings, and even when the pizzas are made correctly, they just are plain old bad. If you want better pizza, head on over to the north side of campus to Hop(kins) Deli. read more

Your pizza's ready!"). They also frequently have various discounts and offers if you sign up for their updates. I've had mixed experiences with the customer service at this location, and the online ordering system is also not as easy as it seems, or perhaps it was malfunctioning the last time I ordered. I had difficulty adding and removing toppings, and eventually I just gave up trying to fix it. My order has also usually not been ready at the promised time, but it's still relatively quick. Dropped my pizza bc the box wasn't sealed as it's supposed to be and they wouldn't remake it. I asked nicely and the manager chose to loose a frequent customer rather than lose $1 in ingredient cost. The text line for customer service doesn't work either. So it's just really sad and I won't be going them any more money. I always tipped over 20% too on carry-out. They just really don't care and probably don't get paid enough to care. So there's really an entire systemic issue here. Our team has ordered from &Pizza in the past. The pizza has always been amazing, from fresh ingredients till it still being delivered hot! However, I'm truly disappointed in the website as well as the AI generated system that can't help in any way when you have issues. I tried to place a delivery order online...a couple times, thinking it was operator error. What I found was either there is an issue with the online operations or there are no physical human beings that you can order from the old school way. I tried calling and was unable to speak with a live person to place our order. I'm truly hoping they are able to do some improvements in their business model to capitalize on all these people are dying to spend their money on fantastic pizza. Since I came around lunch time, the line was a bit long but it didn't last too long. They were on it with making the line progress. When it was my turn I decided I wanted to make my own pizza! I am pescatarian but have vegan ways, so I was so happy they had the option of vegan cheese!! You all get 10 stars for that!! They have a menu that shows you all the vegan options you have to choose from, which was really nice. My protein was shrimp, but they do have a pretty good selection. Then after the oven you can select which finishing touches/toppings you would like. I couldn't resist the arugula!! Eating time!! When devouring my pizza, the ingredients were so fresh!! My mouth and tummy was so so happy!! Oh and I ordered a drink (for someone that literally never drinks soda...ahh a breath of fresh air)...their personal sodas, and goggly moggly was it delicious!! Upon reviewing the offerings, I settled on trying the 'Moonstruck' - Mushroom truffle, garlic ricotta, mozzarella, mushrooms, onions, goat cheese and a Fig balsamic glaze reduction. I added the following: Blue cheese crumbles, Shredded Parmesan, Black olives, Roasted red peppers and Spinach. When I tell u the flavor profile of this pizza was OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD good, believe what I tell you. Everything had that delicious char-broil taste. It was sweet, savory, creamy, and crispy... I love this place because it has vegan options, but now absolutely resent it every time I order a pizza I expect that maybe it was just a mistake, but this is literally the pizza I received, how is this a pizza, who cut this? Where is the vegan cheese? Why is there 2 tablespoons of sauce? Why is there more arugula than there is pizza? There's not even enough sauce to make a pizza. On top of that, they gave me the wrong soda that I don't like, and the garlic knots were unfolded pieces of bread with giant onions in them. What a great pizza! You can make all your own topping choices. You start with sauce. There are several to choose from. Next up is cheese. They have regular shredded mozzarella, whole mozzarella or vegan cheese. Next up are the toppings. Don't miss out on the tater tots and spicy chic peas. They were both really good. I also added sausage. After the pizza bakes, you can add even more toppings or sauces. I got hot honey which rocked and goat cheese crumbled on top. It's not obvious when you order, but you don't pay until the pizza is baked. They ask if you want it for here or to go, add your additional toppings and then you pay. The girl who was working the register called his named and said "isn't that the terrorist that killed all those people" mind you my husbands name is Osama.. everyone got quiet and just looked at us. I had the opportunity to attend the opportunity to attend the preview event at the new location in Charles Village. I was so excited about getting another &pizza in Baltimore because this location is closer to my house than the Federal Hill location. It's my pizza of choice when I'm in DC. I used to come here when the space was Pizza Studio so I curious how they used the space. The staff was awesome from the time I entered to the time I left. I was greeted by the staff who opened the door for us. They made sure we had menus to look at if we needed them. They were fast and efficient with orders. The place was packed but it seemed like controlled chaos. I got a free pie and soda for taking part in the preview event. Pizza was delicious as I expected. Of all the "make your own personal pizza" spots that have popped up in the past few years, &pizza has always been my top choice! I normally would visit the DC location to get my fix, but now this one is by my job in Baltimore! Street parking was easy to find a couple streets away on a residential block, if you don't want to pay for the meter. Everyone working inside was very pleasant with smiles on their faces. The line moved quickly, and my pizza was decorated very nicely. I love the variety of toppings and finishing touches/sauces. The oooonly thing I wish I would have asked is for it to run through the oven one more time or let it sit in there a tad longer because I do prefer it a little crispier, but that was my fault for not asking. The personal pizzas are large portions that will most definitely satisfy your appetite and it'll leave you with leftover.
