I recently tried &pizza and was honestly disappointed. While I like the build-your-own concept, the overall quality didn't meet my expectations. The crust was thinner than I prefer and ended up tasting dry rather than crispy. The toppings looked fresh, but the flavor just didn't come together the way I hoped. The pizza came out quickly, which was nice, but it felt rushed and lacked that satisfying, well-balanced taste. For the price, I expected more flavor and better texture. Since my first review, I haven't frequent this location as often, but a last minute change in dinner plans landed me here, and I was provided with the most excellent customer service during my recent visit. Shout out to Juju.. Admittedly, the store was empty when I arrived, but he went above and beyond to get my order correct, and reminded me of the in store deals that I could use on my order. My pizzas were well prepared with toppings, and perfectly cooked. This was also my first time trying their garlic knots (....I know Im late to the party), and they were delicious and modified to my dietary request. The store was clean and the food prep area was organized. Parking is readily available, but this shopping center stays busy. Overall highly recommend. read more

Slow service. Not a fan! Ordered ahead on the mobile app. Arrived at the time I was promised. The store was empty and my pie was not ready! Two employees were there. One was working and one looked like she was just chatting with a friend. The screen showed my order was in progress. The employee who was chatting with her friend actually acknowledged me and told me they were working on it. They hadn't even started it yet. Eventually, I got my order. It tasted a bit undercooked. This newer location is my fave. Clean restaurant, in a good location, next to Marshalls yay! Service a lot slow, but I'll wait for good quality pizza. They have create your own pizza, but this time, I got Dirty Bird, but the were out of chicken :( so I guess it's a dirty Cow since I got beef topping. I got the Cherry Cola which is better than Coca-Cola brand. I got a rice Krispy treat for later, that was good. As for my pizza, the crust was so pillowly soft, tasted so fresh. I love the hot honey drizzle. However asked them to drizzle it on your pizza, they charge .75 cents for a side of it. Use the app to earn points and rewards. This location is much better than the Crown location. The parking lot is bad. Park by Panera and walk. It will be worth the hassle. read more

First, I want to say how nice/cool the ordering system is. It's super easy to pick additions and substitions, and even to craft uncommon combinations. And the pizza is great. The drawback is that, based on my last order, there is not much relationship between what the customer orders and what he gets. Don't want arugula on your American Honey pizza, and want pickled onions instead? Forget it, you're gonna get arugula. Want to add chicken to your Lil Roni pizza? Uh-uh. Not if the kitchen has decided not to give it to you. My last order of 4 pizzas had 9 mistakes. I searched online for contact info for either the local outlet or corporate. Found that the local outlet doesn't take phone calls and corporate has an unlisted number. So, no customer service. That tells me they have no respect for their customers. Their sales push, like here on Yelp, says that &pizza is the future of pizza. Well, I hope not. read more

I was in the area and since I like &pizza, I decided to visit this location. We ordered one of their specialty pizzas and 2 orders of their knots. Those in my party that had the knots felt they were chewing them a lot longer than normal and had more leftovers than eating them. I devoured my pizza as it was my favorite. However, I must let you know that they burned my first pizza. They informed me of this and had to do a remake. I guess someone wasn't paying attention. I don't know the real cause, but it was a first at any &pizza location I had been to and I have been often to other locations. 5.4.22 I came here a few weeks back when they first opened for a Yelp event and discovered how awesome their pizzas are. I came back tonight for a carryout order and it was just as good after lightly reheating since I was an hour away. My husband said it's his second favorite pizza after Ledo Pizza, but for me it ties for first place. What sets them apart from other competition is the customization at no additional cost unless you purchase Vegan or shrimp. Of course, it would be foolish not to go crazy with all the toppings so I did what any sane person would do and loaded mine up. They didn't have the bottled mango drink, which I loved during my first visit so I went with the fountain soda. The staff member informed me when I asked for a straw that they are don't provide it as they want to go green so you get fountain sodas in a sippy cup. What a great idea!! I also purchased an Oatmeal cookie since they were out of the Chocolate Chip. It would be hard for me to decide which of the two I like better. Service at this location is TOP NOTCH. They are all personable, enthusiastic, welcoming, and accommodating with last minute requests I make. The gentleman who was preparing my pizza even asked how my day was. It's the little things like this that can make a difference if you have returning patrons. It's refreshing to see that even through the pandemic, there are people in the hospitality industry that provide stellar customer service and that make you genuinely feel that they enjoy their jobs. By far, my favorite restaurant in the DMV area because of their service and delicious merchandise. I am in love with everything about it. I'm sitting in the restaurant while writing this review, as I placed an order about 20 minutes ago and it's still on the "received" list on the board... which means they haven't even started my order yet when the website told me it would be ready 10 minutes ago... there's one guy working the "order here" station and he's the only one working his butt off... not sure what the others are doing. I will say that it takes about 12-15 min in the line once you get to the "order here" part. Also, if you're in the store like me thinking you'll save time by ordering ahead instead of wasting time standing in the long line, think again. They take care of all in person before getting to your online order. They need a better system to be more efficient. The pizzas itself look fabulous. I wish I was eating mine now writing this review rather than wasting 30 minutes of my life staring at the ones being made... They also have a cute outdoor dining area loaded with pink chairs and outdoor lights - it would be a cute backdrop for your IG. Update: 45 mins later and it's still not cooking yet. This is absolutely ridiculous. I highly DO NOT recommend this place. Go to another location. Update: 50 mins later I got my food. The manager said the store policy is to help all in store customers and then work on online orders. So if you order, don't expect your order to be made. Went to &pizza for the first time in January 2023. It was my first time going to this restaurant chain. It reminded me of blaze Pizza, where you can either order their pizzas, or create a custom one. You walk along the counter picking your toppings, similar to Chipotle. However in comparison to blaze Pizza they had much fewer topping options. They also prep the online orders on the same line, so if they have a few you'll be waiting a while. They may want to consider having a separate person or line of just for online orders, particularly during busy hours. They have their own types of soda, which I would have liked to try, however only two flavors were available when I visited, and neither were interesting to me. We ordered the Lil Roni and a custom pizza. Dough was the right mix of crunchy and chewy, and the sauce was good. The meat toppings were also flavorful. However they were a little stingy with toppings. Overall, it was a pretty average pizza. I would come back here in a pinch, and pick it over Pizza Hut. But not my favorite pizza spot. Also, the guy who checked us out, told us that if we leave a review we could come back and get a free drink. May have biased other reviews? read more

I've been to this location a couple of times and they are consistently good. I'm always greeted when walking in, the dining area is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful (Nana, Isaac, and Rinaldo), they are accommodating, offer topping suggestions, and the food is always delicious. This restaurant is centrally located and easy to get to, there is plenty of parking and outdoor dining is available as well. This is a nice &pizza location. Compared to the location in Crown, I noticed that they're a bit more stingy with the toppings, but not enough for me to complain about it. Because of the shape of their pizzas, it doesn't seem like you're getting much at first, but it's actually quite filling. This location is small, but there's an outdoor seating section for nice days with string lights that turn on when the sun sets. I'm not a fan of the gaudy pink and green color scheme going on inside. They should also turn the music down; everyone was yelling at the friendly staff members who were doing their best to listen just so the orders could be heard. read more
