This is still by far one of my favorite go to lunch spots. When I'm solo and out, I will go out if my way to hit up naked lunch. Ingredients are always fresh and delivery fantastic flavor. It's also quite healthy in comparison to other places you can choose close by. The value for what you get it also still the best around. I stand by my first review to not sleep on this spot as it's a great one. I always get the califlower tacos, but I do not think that the sprout tortillas are the same as the corn option. It is my favorite go-to lunch spot when at work. Each week they have a special raw pressed juice, different desserts to pick from and one or two different entrée options. For the most part you can grab the staples such as their Kale Caesar, Confetti Bowl, Moler Bowl, Sushi Bowl, Black Bean Burger, Cauliflower Tacos, Jammed Yam and Greek Potatoes. This time around I went with the Confetti Bowl. The Confetti Bowl consists of a hefty portion of brown rice and black beans with grated parmesan cheese, mixed peppers, olives, tomatoes, corn, garnished with cilantro and jalapeños and a zesty lime jalapeño dressing. This was $10.75. I was unaware that you could add items so next time I will add tofu for some added protein! read more

I stop by Naked Lunch at least once a week. As a vegan it cannot be any easier to find a meal here. Most of their menu items are already vegan, and all of them can be made vegan by subbing cheese for their cashew cheese. My most ordered bowl is this sushi bowl. It's a great price point and is always two meals for me. If Ken is there he always makes it the prettiest by fanning out the avocado and topping it with sesame seeds. Okay so I'm convinced that everything at Naked Lunch is delicious. I've only had the black bean burger, and today I tried the buffalo cauliflower tacos. The black bean burger has always been a great deal, it's decently sized with a large side salad with choice of dressing and WITH guacamole for $9.75. The buffalo cauliflower tacos were great, though as you can see in my photos the sauce was HEAVY. I do like my sauce, but this was a lot. If I think it's a lot, it's usually drenched. So forewarning, I would get it on the side if you're not about sauce. They use a sprouted grain tortilla which was kind of like corn texture, and I don't even like corn tortillas. If your a spice noob, the buffalo sauce was a bit spicy to me personally. I'm obsessed with Naked Lunch. I'm not even a vegan, vegetarian, anything. I'm so impressed and on top, Mom's is a great grocery store to shop at! read more

The Naked Lunch is not what it used to be. Yesterday I went to get the special. The special was Greek Potatoes. She put down the spinach and that was ok. Then the cut up potatoes. There were about 9 small cubed potatoes. I asked for more and she said there would be an extra charge for that. Well there was barely a spoonful on the spinach. I said forget it. Then the onions. They were sliced & broken apart. She put about 5 slivers of onions on the spinach. I asked for more & again not even a half spoonful. I just said forget the whole thing & walked away. Wasn't worth the price. It was pitiful. I used to be a regular customer but no more!!!! 9 cubes of potatoes & 5 slivers of onions is not worth it. As I said it was pitiful looking. read more

I'm not a vegan (although sometimes I try!) but I always appreciate a tasty vegan meal, especially if it's of some of my favorite things (ie: tacos!). For a chain, this place is solid and as reliable as they get for a quick healthy "fast food" meal. My go to is their kale caesar and cauliflower buffalo tacos. I love the flavors and consistency and when on the go, you can't ask for more than that. I'm not vegan but I come here often for lunch whenever I don't feel too meaty. It's located inside MOM's Organic at Gables Upper Rock. Fast and friendly service, everything is made fresh daily! Plenty of top booth seatings and a few tables outside for when the weather is nice. The lunch rush gets packed but the line moves quickly. My absolute favorite is the black bean burger with a side of kale with the vegan dressing! The jalapeño lime dressing is also a great alternative. The bean patty is filled with black beans, sweet potato, and brown rice with guacamole and melted cheese (vegan cashew for vegans). I've ordered the cauliflower tacos and vegan muffins in the past and these choices are just as delicious. They offer fresh juices and different types of healthy bowls. This place is inside of MOM's but has its own separate door. There is seating inside and a little outside. What do you get here? Salads and grain bowls. What don't you get here? Junk food. This place is on point for a salad joint. What more could you want than an all organic selection of delightful salad and bowl fixings that combine in so many ways with vegan dressings? I love how fresh everything is and how the portions are extremely generous. After all, it's just salad- if you only get all veggies, you cannot go wrong! I love their dressings but am a sucker for the chimichurri and the coconut curry, with the garlic and herbed vinaigrette also delicious. For the bowls, you can make your own with a base and 5 organic toppings ranging from kimchi to pineapples to sprouts to cherry tomatoes to sweet potatoes etc. So good! Bases include rice, kale and spinach, as well as quinoa and another grain mix. The container is compost friendly, as are their utensils. They have a few extra condiments you can add on by the napkins and utensils. Great deal for your money, and it's the healthiest organic options that make it even tastier. read more

Everything is organic and vegan and they make fresh juices. I've tried several meals and every single one of them has been delicious so far. I personally try not to eat too much grains so If a meal does have grains in it, I'll substitute for kale or spinach to turn it into a salad! No, the menu is not just full of salads! Quite the opposite actually. At first glance it might seem hard to choose a meal to order because they sound quite odd or just different from a typical food menu, but I promise it's worth a try! They have black bean burgers, cauliflower tacos, sweet potato bowls, cauliflower steak and more. The serving sizes are very generous as well and with every meal I order, I am always satiated afterward, it's plenty of food. My all time favorite meal is the salsa verde tacos! They're fantastic, I would even recommend them to a meat eater! All the meals are very tasty, some of the combinations of toppings sound questionable at times but it always ends up working out perfectly. Props to whoever created the menu! read more

I tried the Confetti bowl -- a healthy version of a vegetarian Chipotle burrito bowl -- and the homemade soups. That was over a month ago and I've ordered them over and over and over. I've lost 10 pounds I'm happy to say. The black beans are soft and creamy. The fresh Jalapeno peppers are the hottest I've eaten. The Parmesan cheese delivers the umami. It isn't glamorous but the inception of probably both the market and this food service is to delivery vegan/vegetarian food to the masses, either changing the way people eat or giving those who already eat such foods a bigger smile after they do. They serve you with a smile, and the what they serve is amply portioned to fill you up. For example, they have BOWLS: each with many options for each element: think "A." Grain/Legume/Starch: Quinoa, Brown Rice, Black Beans, Sweet Potatoes THEN ADD "B." Veggie: Kale, Spinach, Carrots then add-ons for flavor: Feta, Olives, Cilantro,KimChi, etc... and a dressing if desired. PREPARED HOT FOOD: Caulifower steak, black bean burger. SOUPS: changes often but is always tasty with as carefully creafted mixture of spices and fresh ingredients to make it hearty, tasty and healthy. They have RAW JUICES that you can build your own from apple, carrot or orange base. I am fan of beet n kale added to carrot, but I am me so-- your palate may not be as utilitarian as mine strives to be. And you can mix and match, create your own and the staff has never been anything but welcoming, attentive and friendly no matter how ridiculous my order might sound b/c they are there to please--- they believe in the food they are making, taking time to prepare it and serve it so that you enjoy it as much as they do. They also have home-made muffins...I am so hungry right now just typing it. Is it on the pricey side? yes, but fresh ingredients selected, prepared and served by caring hands isn't cheap. Is it enough food? yes and yes. I have not been able to finish any one bowl in one sitting. I always eat it slowly for the next couple days b/c it is packed in to the rim of the container. I've never been one to think I could do a fully vegetarian meal and be satisfied, but this place someone always hits the spot. Located inside the MOM's Organic Market, this is their little cafeteria. It only serves vegetarian meals, but have a huge variety of options from cauliflower steaks to black bean burgers and rice bowls. My go to is the Lin Bowl with tofu, kimchi, brown rice, seaweed, and other greens. It's tasty and so filling. I can usually make each bowl last 2 servings, which is a great deal for $9. Because it's located inside MOM's I can easily grab other groceries, snacks, or a drink with my lunch. The service at MOM's is always great and I'm glad that I can shop someone is both affordable and still encourages eco friendly, sustainable practices.
