Needed comfort food on our way from Denver to Boise. Found it with a steak burrito. This family oriented restaurant just felt right.

My family visited Andale Rapido last week while visiting our son at UW. Being from Texas, we didn't expect a whole lot from Mexican food in Wyoming, but the good reviews convinced us to give it a try - and it was fantastic! We had barbacoa (pork) tacos, steak fajita tacos, a soup, and queso & chips and everything tasted delicious. Also, the staff was super friendly and quickly brought our food out to the table. This is a small restaurant in a strip mall not too far from UW. We enjoyed a combo plate and loved the mocajete. Excelente!

Corona Village is tucked away in a little store front plaza. It doesn't look very inviting and it's easy to miss. CORONA VILLAGE IS VERY GOOD and worth the stop. Orders are taken at the counter and then served at your table. The meals are made fresh and served hot. Prices are reasonable and the staff is quite friendly. If you want great Mexican food, try here or the bigger Corona Village. Family run with friendly servers but I must warn you about one thing. If you want small portions, don't go here! Food is awesome, especially with the free chips and salsa (which is kinda like pico de gallo) which you get at the main eatery. Large assortment, great taste, good prices. read more

Hands down the best Mexican food I have had in some time. When you walk in they have pictures of the menu but they do not do justice to the beautiful dishes. The burritos are as big as my head. It was so great if we had both lunch and dinner there. I had the chicken enchiladas verdes first then the chicken fajitas. My husband had the sweet mango enchiladas (I had a bite they were sweet with a unique flavor they was great). Then he had the dos por pos (two tacos two enchiladas) he said it was even more amazing than lunch. I also had a pineapple margarita wow!! So delicious and it was only $4.50. Great stop off I-80! I was craving Tacos so my boyfriend and I stopped here. I got the Enchilada and Taco combo + beans and rice, he got their daily special of 3 enchiladas + beans and rice. Being from Southern California, in used to good authentic Mexican food. This place is a close as I've gotten in a long time. I had the Dos por Dos, 2 barbacoa tacos and 2 cheese enchiladas. Very good flavor but it could have used some enchiladas sauce or salsa on the plate. But I was able to get salsa (the medium was very flavorful) and all was right with the world. Don't let the name fool you, this restaurant is nothing like the Corona Village located near Interstate 80. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the food is delicious! You order at the counter and the food is served at your table. Prices are very reasonable (around $7-11 per meal depending on what is ordered) and authentic. It doesn't have the atmosphere of a typical "Mexican restaurant" but what it lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in the quality of the food. The restaurant was packed, why you may ask, because the food was great! Very small eating area that consisted of about 6 tables and bar stool seating along the wall. You walk in and the line forms to the left. Ordering was a little confusing to me at first, because you tell the cook your order and he will began either putting your food together or start cooking your food, as you move down the line, you tell him what you want on your food and then a lady at the end calculates the cost and takes your money. After tasting another Mexican Restaurant by my Hotel, which was the worse experience I have ever had, I had to try another place. When I was at Bailey's, I met a few Latin ladies that swore on this place. They ended up taking me here a few days later. I must say, it reminded me of California. The Carne Asada Lunch plate was one of the best I have ever had. It felt good to feel like I was at home for a minute dining. I never thought of Utah as a Mexican food mecca, but compared to Andale Rapido, it is. No flavor, no salt or pepper. My husband had a smothered burrito, and I had a taco salad with chicken. Or, more accurately, I should say I had lettuce topped with ground chicken. No beans or rice. Only lettuce, chicken, and a tablespoon of sour cream. Husband said the most flavor on his plate was from the bell pepper. My husband is Hispanic, so we eat at Mexican restaurants a lot. The reviews were SO misleading!! So disappointed. It's great to see a local place doing so well. Other reviews are absolutely correct, Rapido is a pretty casual dine in/carry out place. Service was friendly and the line moved really quickly. I have to say that I was hoping for a few more items on the menu. They offer pretty much all standards: tacos, burritos, quesadilla, etc. Aside from the tortas, there were no menu items that REALLY stood out to me. I had a carnitas Tortas Mexican sandwich, which was pretty good. I have to say I've had better for the price- not as big as I was hoping and could have done with a lot more toppings. Great food, great service, very friendly people. My favorite is the mango enchiladas, but really it's all good. My husband also gets one of the burritos and loves them. You can always find locals in here, so you know it's good. Plenty of food for a great price, and it's delicious. They have horchata, too! All around great Mexican food. A wonderful Mexican restaurant right alongside I80. Menu is extensive, and everything we ordered was very, very good. It was plated very attractively as a bonus. The restaurant is very clean and attractively decorated. The bathrooms with the Talervera sinks and tiles are perfect for the setting.l Do stop here for a treat - and order a bowl of the cheese queso that's not on the menu.
