Showed up for a spur-of-the-moment late dinner with a party of six. The ladies who were working were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Our meals were served promptly and as ordered. I had the Andaman Tom Yum Soup. All ingredients were very fresh and delicious. (Though I should have asked for some chopsticks to better manage the noodles.) The space is well decorated and comfortable. We were happy with our meals, the service, and the value. Would definitely recommend and return again! read more

The food is decent, however they do not fully label what's in dishes. For example, the red curry had mushrooms, and mushrooms are not my friend. They replaced it, but it's pretty annoying. I'd bring them up a star if they reflected the menu. Additionally, the place is tiny, with only 4-5 tables. If you're coming for lunch, my recommendation is to get there at 11:30 sharp, or you may be waiting a bit. read more

This place looks like it does its majority of business as take out. The host was literally the only employee there and worked his butt off. He was very kind and accommodating. The food needed a little more seasoning and he obliged by bringing a spice dish. That took care of things in the flavor end. The Pad Thai was not authentic and tasted pretty awful. My co-worker ate three bites and left the rest. And believe me it was a huge plate of food and he was hungry. The red curry and pad see ew were awesome though. Based on the reviews, I expected to love this place, but after a disastrous delivery experience, that was not the case. We ordered delivery from there a couple of months ago and was told that it would be here in 40 min (7:40). It was 7:45.. 8:00.. still no food. We gave it a few more minutes and still no food, so we called to check on it. The person on the phone proceeded to tell us that it was really busy and they forgot about the order. No apology or anything. Our food finally showed up just before 9pm. The food was ok, nothing special, and I found the portions to be rather small for the price. The most disappointing part of the experience was that our food arrived 90 minutes late.. it never would have arrived if we didn't call to check in.. and it was treated as though it was no big deal. No discount or even a nix of the $2 delivery fee.. not very good customer service. Needless to say, we will not be ordering from here again. read more

Was in the area on a business trip and decided to grab something to eat before my light. This place was on the way, and I decided to give it a try. Firs impression is an interesting one, since the place looks more modern then you would expect a Thai place to be. Menu is very simple and easy to chose from. I've decided to to with a healthier option and ordered veritable with chicken and rice. I was very surprised when they brought my food (not to mention for fast it was) it looked really REALLY good! I'm a little picky when it comes to salt, and I was once again surprised that there was nearly any salt on the chicken and vegetables. The pad thai was a little on the sweet side, but the pineapple fried rice was right on point. I have been to Andaman Thai four times now. Always liked the food. Drunken noodles seems to be their specialty. Went there last night again. Hungry. Ordered drunken noodles with shrimp. Again. But this time I was in for a surprise. The portion size was much smaller than usual. I took a bite and it tasted delicious as usual. Now I was between a rock and a hard place. Anyway, I chose to go ahead with the meal. The waiter came and asked how the food is. I told him the taste was great but the portion size was not as usual. He nodded, went inside, and talked to someone. And then nothing. No acknowledgement or any apology or any attempt to do anything about my feedback. This is what drives me crazy. When a waiter comes for feedback, and I provide feedback and nothing happens. Why do they ask if they don't intend to do anything about it. Anyway, I have decided for next time if the portion looks small will just send it back and won't pay for it. I gave them a chance last night with a polite feedback but apparently they don't really care. read more

Great food. Tiny hole-in-the-wall kind of restaurant. Very limited seating. Easy for diners of two or even singles. But may be a challenge for larger groups (like 5 plus). Food was tasty and of the right temperature. Service was fast. Restaurant managers were polite. Ideal for take out food. Plenty of parking. Great option for takeout! It's easy to be just a mediocre Thai restaurant but the food here is really good. We tried the pad see ew, yellow curry, green curry... and every dish was the way I like it! Even tried their honeydew bubble tea and the boba was nice and chewy. Wish I could comment better on the service and the restaurant itself but I'm sure we will try it again. Hopefully for takeout again and dining in as well so will update soon! Very happy to have found our new spot. read more

I've ordered delivery here twice and both times have been great! They will let you know what estimated time they will arrive and they always do come on time! $2 delivery charge; minimum of $15 order. My first delivery, I ordered Thai ice tea, fried rice, crab ragoons and tofu pad Thai. Everything was great except the pad Thai, it was a bit on the sweet side that I'm not used to and not very fond of so I think I wouldn't get that here again. My second delivery, I ordered Thai ice tea (I just love my tea!), spring rolls and tofu pad see you. Everything was delicious! I love the pad see you, I've been to many Thai restaurants that are more vegetables than the noodles but this order, I definitely had a good amount of noodles! June 2, 2018 - A long read Reading prior reviews I decided to go in with my 2 children for lunch today. We waited by the small counter to be shown our table and the young man who appeared to be the manager/supervisor/what have you, seated us at one. At the table, before we sat down, he removed the salt and pepper shakers and I asked him to please leave the salt shaker on the table. He walked away and as I was strapping my toddler into the high chair I repeated my request to replace the salt shaker. He snapped at me saying "Yes I heard you, you don't have to repeat yourself!" I responded that I thought he maybe didn't hear me. And I asked him why he was being touchy and testy about it. He went to the counter and as I continued to strap my toddler in, I looked up to see him glaring at me. My toddler picked up the knife and fork and started to tap on the table. The man immediately pointed a finger at me and wagging it, he said in a loud voice, "Stop your daughter from tapping the table". Now, I'm not sure what was going on in the young man's mind and life at that point but I had had enough. So I unstrapped my son, and told my daughter that we are leaving since I was not comfortable there. And the young man "muttered" in a loud voice "Whatever"!! I asked him twice that I wanted to speak with the manager, and he just stood there, turning a deaf ear. While I was tempted to laugh because it was so juvenile, I was also angry that I was at the receiving end of this man's rudeness and offensive behavior for absolutely no fault of ours. I hope that they soon find a replacement for this troubled and asocial young man. I don't know what we did to warrant this kind of behavior. Apparently this is is the first time a customer has experienced this since I haven't seen any negative comments. Here is what my daughter says: When me and my mom walked into the restaurant and waited at the counter the man who showed us our seat was quite cranky. When we asked him for the salt shaker, he seemed to not be listening, and did not reply to our request. When he came again, my mother him again to please bring the salt back, he snapped at her and said that she did not have to repeat herself to him. When she asked why he was being crabby and cranky, he did not reply. He immediately snapped at my mom again when my brother was tapping on the table with silverware. When we decided to leave because we weren't comfortable with the waiter glaring at us all the time, he first muttered 'Good', and then loudly, 'Whatever!' When my mom asked to see the manager of the restaurant, he did not reply, and me and my mom decided to just leave. I was shocked overall with the man's behavior, and, quiet frankly, I do not think that we will not ever come back to Andaman Thai as long as that man is still there. My mom was very disappointed with our experience. And, truthfully, I am, too. read more

This is a small restaurant right next to the Route 9 which offers very good Thai Cuisine food. Had the Chicken Satay, Drunken Noodles which are perfectly cooked and they are very accommodative to customize the dish per my style. The interior and seating style is mediocre, don't have enough seating capacity the max they can fit is 15-18 people, but the crowd is less and they are mostly busy with the take out orders. read more

This place is a great small hidden restaurant right off route 9. I ordered the green curry chicken and house fried rice with pork and it was excellent. I just came back again for pickup and it's delicious! You should definitely check it out if you live in the neighborhood because I find it very difficult to find good Thai elsewhere. read more

Ordered a vegetarian pad that with steamed tofu. Ended getting dessert like sweet pad thai with only tofu. Yuck wouldn't begin to describe it. It's as though they don't have a recipe but just mix ingredients in just about any proportion for a dish. read more
