Papaya salad

Mango curry with veggies and papaya salad my friend got pad Thai chicken. The food was unimpressive. The tofu in the curry was greasy, for vegetables it was carrots and onions thats it. I requested extra hot; it was sweet and salty. The papaya salad was too salty and I could taste the fish sauce. My friend enjoyed her pad Thai. The staff were friendly. The place was clean.

Tom Yum soup. Lookout when you take the top off the container --- stinky stinky to the point of turning your stomach

Usually very happy with Thai food from Andaman. In the past year or so it has not been consistently good, as it was before. I ordered in-person. I specifically said 'no spice' on the drunken noodle. Each time I say that, I get home and it is so spicy it is nearly inedible. Covered in red/chili pepper (I think that's what it is). It has happened the last three times we have ordered it. Why do I keep ordering it? Because I keep thinking it will be like it used to be -- good. Same with the Tom Yum soup. I got very excited for It and was disappointed. Tonight's Tom Yum was so fishy tasting, my breath smelled of fish after one spoonful. The smell was terrible. No coconut flavor hints at all. It was like whomever made it, had no idea how to make it. I have never had it that bad before. We just dumped it out. On a sidenote, somehow there was a mixup in the order and I paid for two chicken yellow curry. I received two, just didn't want or need two. My fault. But at least it wasn't over-spiced. Just be sure to check your order carefully before you pay. Spring rolls, scallion pancakes, and chicken satay were all outstanding. Just the lack of being able to keep to the ordered spice level and being exposed to the stinky Tom Yum soup will make us think twice before ordering here again anytime soon. Spent $100 and my family was very disappointed. And I am disappointed that I can't depend on consistency here anymore.

Chicken Pad See Ew

MUSH or NOODLES? I can't tell.... Second situation where the noodles have been so OVER COOKED, it was more like mashed potatoes than egg pasta. For these prices I'd EXPECT HIGHER QUALITY and edible food. Moving on...thanks for 4 years but I'm not willing to buy a 3rd strike.

Bubble Drinks (milk base) - Taro

I came in looking for a treat on a Friday night and was not disappointed by the bubble tea (milk base), taro flavor. The bubble tea was rich, had a nice balance between boba and tea, and was a standard size! This was not like the boba places in the city or like a chain (Kung Fu Tea or Gong Cha), but it was just as good, plus it is supporting a local business. Service was super friendly and quick for a Friday night. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I'll definitely be coming back for food and some more bubble tea soon!

Chicken teriyaki bento

Was craving for some bomb-digity pad thai and found this new place on yelp! I came for lunch with some coworkers, one of which is super picky. It took a good amount of threats to get her to try new things. She thought I tried to kill her once when I offered her a lychee. *roll eyes Story short, she liked what she ordered. Food: (3.5) We ordered pad thai, drunken noodles, and chicken teriyaki bento box as our main entree. We also got a crab Rangoon to share. Crab rangoon fillings were ice cold. eh. My pad thai hit the spot for me though! I'm very satisfied. I couldn't finish so I packed it for dinner! :) Service: (2.5). It was only three of us in the restaurant.Place is super small. I counted approximately 16 seats. Service was a bit slow. But staff were very polite and warm. Definitely add this place to our list of regulars. :D

Pad Thai with chicken

Found this restaurant while traveling home on route 9. Very cute inside, 6-7 tables I believe. We were waited on right away and were given waters. We ordered Thai tea, crab rangoons, chicken pad Thai and wild boar basil noodles. The crab rangoons came out in about 10 minutes, upon biting into the first two, we noticed they were cold/frozen in the middle. We let the waitstaff know and they made us new ones right away and let them fry longer. The second plate was great and hot throughout. The Thai tea was also perfectly balanced between tea and sweetened condensed milk. They give you the option of adding boba for 50¢ as well. The pad Thai was very flavorful and coated with sauce throughout. I do wish they served it with lime wedges, as I love that flavor as well. The chicken was well cooked. The wild boar basil noodles were a mix of veggies (eggplant, peppers, onions, capers, etc) and meat (we assumed pork) in a coconut sauce. We liked the still crunchy veggies with the sauce, great flavors. Overall great Thai restaurant in a good and convenient location.

$8.95 eggplant and basil with tofu lunch

We live close by this place and finally decided to give it a try for lunch last week. We both LOVE Thai food and eat it often. Sadly, this was actually the worst Thai meal I can ever remember having. We started with crispy spring rolls ($5.95). Those tasted fine, but the noodles inside were not clear but a white color, almost like they were not fresh somehow. Kinda weird, but again, they tasted fine. My husband commented on the strange almost freezer burned look of the noodles in the car on the way home and I was surprised because I had noticed when we were eating them but did not mention it to him. For lunch I had eggplant with basil and Tofu. This came with white rice. The portion was surprisingly small (and I normally eat 1/2 and take 1/2 home most places, so not a big appetite), and it was drowning in grease. The sauce had no flavor, and neither did the basil as it was fried, crispy and stringy to try and eat. There were only about 4-5 pieces of Tofu, so not great for protein either. I believe the lunch was $8.95. My partner had the pineapple fried rice with shrimp ($10.95). His dish was completely tasteless, like surprisingly tasteless, again it was a small portion especially considering how cheap rice is, it was very greasy, and a lot of the rice was clumped together with hard bits as if it was old, and for sure not made fresh that day. Sadly, we won't be back and this really was the worst Thai food either of us can remember ever having. Please do note that these are standard dishes that we have both ordered at dozens of Thai places both in this country and in Europe as well. I am sure that the only reason this place stays open is because it is literally the only Thai in Framingham. We'll be traveling outside our town when the craving hits for sure. Also as a side note, the inside was fairly gross. I didn't go to the restroom and cannot comment on that, but we were sitting near the wall at the end of the long, skinny room and next to a space heater sitting on a falling apart stand held together by 2 x 4's. The tile floor was dirty and the place just felt uncomfortable. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 star because the pricing for lunch is OK, and even though it's awful Thai food, it's still Thai food and the service was fine when we were there.

Service is good. Price is high. Food was good tho. They don't give you a lot for what you pay.

Super yummy Thai food- a much needed addition to this area. The restaurant itself is pretty tiny, I think it's better for take out.

I was the first person in for dinner 5pm ish (obviously on the early side). There were 5 ladies (who work there) socializing (again, a bit too loud, it's a restaurant not a bar (no bar to speak of). I first tried to order the pho with shrimp. The menu shows that extra "meat" is $5 which I was happy to pay. But for some reason I couldn't order extra shrimp. Only normal amount of shrimp. After that back and forth experience I thought maybe I shouldn't order the shrimp? So I Ordered the chicken pho. They got my order wrong (asked three times for yellow noodle and got rice noodle). The broth came lukewarm at best (this is what really killed the meal for me). Chicken was tough and hard to chew and swallow. Not sure how you can have a successful pho restaurant without hot flavorful broth. Won't be stopping in again.

The atmosphere of this ramen shop is a bit different than the others in the general area. You walk in and order from the counter, pay, then sit and wait for it to get to your table (or for it to be bagged up to go). Not a problem at all, I just noticed the difference - many ramen shops around are more of a "sit down" vibe with wait staff and such. I was promptly greeted when entering, and they were very good at recommending their favorite ramen to me. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen (per recommendation between that and the spicy shoyu). First off, is the broth. Their broth is REALLY GOOD!! I found myself treating this more soup-like than most ramen visits, and went for the soup spoon a bit earlier than I usually do. The noodles were very "slurp-able", and the bamboo, scallion & sweet corn were great compliments! The second thing that will stick with me is the quail eggs. Another differentiator - these were tiny marinated eggs that come either 3 or 5. They were cooked & marinated perfectly... I kind of wish I opted in for the 5 as opposed to the 3!! The Chashu pork was really good, although it was different than what I was used to. It didn't really have that "Chashu" taste that I've grown accustomed to, and it tasted kind of like it was marinated in a soy sauce or something similar. Again, it was very very good. No complaints here, it just had a different vibe. A refreshing change!! Overall, I will definitely be coming back here. If you need a ramen fix and are in the Marlborough area - Up To Me is absolutely a viable option!!
