We ate here before seeing a show at the showplace. My husband was really looking forward to the table side carbonara but they were only doing a limited menu that night, so that was a bit of a bummer. We had a great server, was great on checking on things for us. All the food was great, I really loved the 5 pepper chicken such a great use of peperoncini, kept the dish light. While my food was definitely, not good, my friend enjoyed his sausage and pepper entree. The shrimp while a decent size was rubbery and overcooked. The broccoli was cold, and risotto....well, I've had much better! The entertainment "Shamrocks" was excellent which definitely made up for the disappointing meal that I had on the dining side of the house! The wait staff was amazing which is always a plus, especially for my first time visiting this location. In happenstance we realized today that it is possible we had found ourselves dining on evenings that coordinated with scheduled live shows, that they were full to capacity and making a reservation early on the as recommended. I do not know why unless folks , even myself due to past experience, think Andiamo's is always so busy that we could not get a last minute reservation? The food is always amazing in the restaurant. Not only the traditional Italian dishes but the quality of their steaks are Prime! The New York Steak cuts and eats as tender as a Fillet at other restaurants,seriously! Their Fillet is delicious too. Their soups are a must. The White Onion Soup is our fav. If you enjoy French Onion Soup you will enjoy this. Think French Onion Soup that just became a little easier to eat. LOL I have yet to order something we did not thoroughly enjoy. The table side Spaghetti Carbonara is a must. Great selection of deserts. The Carrot Cake, Tiramisu and the best Spumoni ice cream are shareable! Service here has remained intact as you would expect at a fine dining establishment. We've been coming here forever and it never disappoints. The service (especially the bartender and her sister!) is always unpretentious yet professional and the old school Italian vibe is exactly as advertised. The food is underrated, in my humble opinion. Some of the best Caesar salad in Metro Detroit and all the traditional pasta dishes are on point. Of course, the Zip sauce on any steak is a must! Last meal there I had a perfectly cooked ribeye, excellent stuffed clams, fried zucchini, and top notch Carbonnara which couldn't be prepared barside, but didn't matter! Delicious and so satisfying. We love Andiamo-Warren and their Showroom. There is no such thing as a bad meal here. No matter what you order, it's delicious. My first beverage taste test is always a Cosmo and they outdo themselves here. Service is prompt and responsive without hovering, the vibe is gracious and welcoming, and the management should be running our country. This husband-and-wife team keep the entire operation running like a well-oiled machine (we haven't been here in nearly a year and the wife remembered and greeted us!). Great signage on 14 Mile Road so you can't miss the entrance, and just a couple of miles from I-75, there's plenty of free parking but also an excellent valet staff. We highly recommend! read more

Since the menu and dishes are identical so what makes the difference is service. Moreover, correctly preparation in the kitchen based on customers needs and presentation of the dishes make a difference here. I'm not understanding the numerous negative reviews for this place. It's not my favorite restaurant by any means but if you're gonna review a spot, trying to be somewhat objective should be the bare minimum requirement. My wife and I got married here almost seven years ago and people loved the food we had. A wise man once told me that no one will care about a single decoration, centerpiece or flowers at your wedding. They will however comment on the food and the cake, so you better get that right. We got it right! Or I should say, Andiamo got it right. But this review isn't about our wedding. That was an unnecessary piece of information I just wanted to share. We had dinner here on 5/21 for my wife's birthday. We were not disappointed. We had a group of eleven people. Our waitress was fantastic and the entire wait staff was attentive. The service is phenomenal here. Everyone's app and meal came out in a timely manner and we didn't feel rushed at all. We also didn't feel like an inconvenience when we kept asking for zip sauce or other things on the side. They were more than happy to help us. And we were never low on our beverages. They were promptly filled without us feeling intruded. My wife got the salmon which was served with some veggies and risotto. It was delicious. The salmon cooked perfectly and the risotto was really good. There was a "maple-chili agro-dolce" that was the perfect compliment to the food. My wife didnt enjoy it so I got it all to myself. I ordered the char grilled rib eye, medium rare. I told them I would rather it be closer to rare than to medium and it was cooked perfectly. Mine arrived with a mushroom ragu that was so good. The sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts were amazing as I dipped them in that maple chili. I think everyone got zip sauce on the side because let's face it, every food is elevated with zip sauce immediately. All in all, amazing food, even better service. I knew I liked everything inside of the dish but I was iffy if I would like it all together. But wowza, it was so good. Surprisingly, so was the tuna roe. I also really enjoyed the farmers salad that came before the entree. I also ordered two drinks: graceful orchid martini and green ghost. Both were very strong. The graceful orchid martini was yummy, but had a sort of medicine after taste to it. The green ghost was sweet yet spicy and I really enjoyed it. I have food allergies and other issues, so I try to choose the lesser of the evils on a menu for me and the choice I made did not bother me, which tells me they were probably using better ingredients. We were a table of 4 on a show night at 8 with a 6:15 reservation. They were busy, as they are often, so it shouldn't be anything new especially on a show night when we have to get next door. We ordered a bottle of wine and 15 minutes later the server told us they had trouble finding the wine but it would be right up. She then brought the wine and put it on a ledge behind us and didn't come back to open it for another 5 minutes and then finally took our order. Our food arrived at 7:45. Mine was overcooked (chicken piccata) and not hot. We ate quickly to get to the show next door. A manager came over and asked how things were. I told her it took a really long time and my food was overcooked and not hot. She said it was because they are busy on show nights, said "sorry" and walked away. Being busy isn't an excuse for a restaurant. She said on show nights they get a lot of kitchen orders at the same time which only tells me I won't go there again. I went to Andiamo's often before they had the show venue when I was young and it was always a good experience. I'm afraid they may have gotten too big and are cutting corners in quality and service. My daughter recently had her wedding reception here. The food was incredible and fresh. The service was outstanding. The ambiance and sunken dance floor added to the entire atmosphere. Can't say enough about the manager, Kyriakos Katros. He was full of ideas and very accommodating. He was present during the entire event and kept checking to make sure we were satisfied with everything. I definitely would recommend having any event here or attending some of their public events. She didn't bring everyone's drink order out in a correct order - some people were being served seconds before someone else got their first drink. me & 5 friends bought tickets to jeff ross' show back in december of 2022 for an april 2023 show. the show was originally advertised much differently than the late starting show we received last weekend. that aside, we were seated at table 28 in the showroom, and the entire time a woman and her date at table 29 were disruptive, beligerent, and rude - interrupting the show, resulting in all 6 of us having a horrendous time. about 20 minutes in i asked security to do something, and he pulled over a man who was supposed to intervene; however, nothing was done. we all paid $90/ticket, and feel as if we got a $5 firsthand seat to the mr. & mrs. drunk butt show, rather than what we paid for. the amount of disruption completely ruined our entire evening, as we originally planned to go out or stay there for drinks and apps, but after experiencing what we did, everyone wanted to go home and wash the stink of the evening off of ourselves. read more

Greeted immediately by the very friendly hostess and seated right away. Waitress was pretty attentive - at first. After she came over twice and we weren't ready, she kind of disappeared. When she finally showed back up, we placed our orders. My sister and I got the same exact thing; 6oz Filet Mignon cooked medium rare with extra zip sauce, subbing the potatoes for a side of pasta and house salads. The salads came out and were great; the entrees were a different story. Both of our filets were over cooked. Hers had a slight peek of pink once she got to the center; mine was devoid of any color whatsoever. Thank God we ordered the extra zip because every dry bite NEEDED to be doused. The accompanying veggies and pasta were decent but no where near made up for our hockey pucks.
