The quality of the food, respectfully, was the worst I've ever had. Period. I had a couple of bites of the lasagne, pizza, garlic bread and wings and threw the rest in the green waste. Management is likely very aware of the quality they are serving, but let this be feedback to them if they are not. Gordon Ramsay swearing his head off, terrible. Have a lovely day.

Andrea's Restaurant might be my new favourite Greek and Mediterranean cuisine restaurant in North Van. Andreas Restaurant is family-owned and operated. They have plenty of seating and the staff is very nice. Their menu is vast and has a lot of variety. We tried: Garlic Tiger Prawns APP $16.00 Greek Platter $54.95 Greek Baklava $7.00 Greek Platter comes with Beef Souvlaki, Chicken Souvlaki, Lamb Souvlaki, Hummus, Tzatziki, Pita Bread, Spanakopita, Rice, Roast Potato, Calamari, Souzoukakia & 2 small Greek Salad. I will be going back to try their pizza soon. There was no wait-time and there's plenty of free street parking available.

When I come here I'm always amazed at how this place has not changed. The menu, the decor the famous money wall (which I still do not understand). I consider Andreas to be one of those long time joints in the neighbourhood. It's a familiar place where people go because they've done so for decades. I guess they know what to expect and like I mentioned very little has changed. It's a place good for groups, especially if you have kids. Tonight I chose to dine here because I was craving lasagne. I figured that it would be very similar to the many other Greek/Italian places that one would find in Vancouver....it's not. They have a huge dining room which was mostly empty and yet the wait to get a table was longer than should have been. The service was slow, the kitchen I presume was VERY busy with the numerous take out and delivery orders. The prices are slightly more than your average Greek/Italian place. Sadly, the taste was not there. The lasagne was bland, bland and more bland. The garlic bread was barely toasted and I hard time trying to figure out what side of the bread had garlic. This restaurant is not a foodies paradise, it simple a place to go because it's close, it's the designated long time neighbourhood joint. It's not a place to go if you're craving lasagne.

It's in a cute house. Feels more spacious, brighter and I love the Greek tunes they play in the background! I ordered the Briam which was baked eggplant topped with mixed vegetables, tomato sauce and feta. It came in a piping hot casserole dish and retained its heat all throughout the meal. It was accompanied by roast potatoes and Greek salad. One of my favourite parts of a Greek meal is always the lemon roasted potatoes. Honestly, I feel that the lemon flavor could have been stronger in these roast potatoes. I could probably make it better myself at home. I still enjoyed the potatoes but I do wish it had been more lemony. The Briam wasn't bad but I wasn't blown away by it. Don't think it's something I need to order again. There was a Mezze taster for 2 on the table. I tried some of the tzatziki and hummus from the Mezze platter with pita bread. Super yummy! I was surprised to see so few Vegetarian symbols on the menu. They have for example, a Veggie Moussaka on the menu but there's no Vegetarian symbol next to the Veggie Moussaka. It sounds like it should be a vegetarian dish. Otherwise, why bother having 2 different versions of the Moussaka on the menu. Spanakopita is another dish which I would think is vegetarian. Surprised there's no vegetarian symbol next to that dish either. I saw Ek Mek on the dessert menu. I never knew about this dessert for a long time but finally got introduced to it years ago at a Greek restaurant in New Westminster and was totally hooked on it. Would love to come back to Mythos and try their Ek Mek sometime! Service: Good Parking: Free parking on the street

Large green trees, light wood frames and knotted sun umbrellas created the perfect vibe for a relaxed Sunday dinner for me. Our outstanding server, Eva provided fantastic dinner service! Not only was she generally hospitable but incredibly knowledgeable which entrees and sauces were gluten free. Her guidance was especially helpful, not only to me but to the table next to us, who were also seeking gluten-free options. My lamb and beef souvlaki was very good. $32. Both meats were very tender and the Greek salad was fresh and tasty, seasoned better than the last Greek place we dined at. The lemon potatoes were a one weak spot. They arrived barely warm and were missing that crispy edge I love. They did, however, have a beautiful golden color and good flavor throughout. I had a bite of their moussaka and was WOWED! $31 This Greek version of Iasagna was rich, flavorful and silky. My glass of Lafazanis Retsina white wine from Greece paired nicely and completed our Greek dinner. $18 4/5 food 5/5 ambiance 10/5 service

When I got here though, it was really hard to stick with that plan cuz I saw all the yummy options on the menu and salad just wasn't sounding so appealing to my taste buds. Usually when I come here, I order one of the David's deals. They're smaller versions of the main courses, but they are really not very light. They still give you tons of food, and I would usually end up very full and still have leftovers to bring home. My mother, bless her soul...she spotted something on the menu called Chaudree and decided she would order that. I looked at the description and it said, " Prawns, mussels, salmon, clams and veggies in a rich and creamy seafood chowder with origins from the South of France. Served with garlic bread." A piece of garlic bread with a bowl of soup. This sounded like a great compromise between salad and the much heavier David's Deal meals. So I decided to order a Chaudree as well. The others at the table ordered roasted lamb, a David's Deal Vegetable Moussaka, and a few appies for the table. We had Caesar salad, Calamari and some Kypriaki Wings to share. So...still got my salad in. I really enjoyed my Chaudree! Been to this restaurant so many times. It was great to finally try something new. Certainly would have never expected to be eating a French dish in a Greek restaurant. It really hit the spot. There was lots of seafood in it. They weren't stingy with the seafood, and it was the perfect compromise for me who had been originally wanting just a salad. This was much more satisfying for my taste buds than a salad, but not as heavy as my usual David's Deal meal, which would have come with rice, potatoes, pita bread (all very filling carbohydrates) and a piece of vegetable moussaka or spanakopita.

The ribs has a nice seasoning run on them but like most Greek chicken ( I found it was quite dry). The potato's were not heavily lemoned either. It really was just a roast potato. We also had a Baklava. This was over sweet & heavy with what I found similar to the taste of black licorice or ouzo. Personally not a fan. We lucked out and got a seat to eat but most people appear to be doing take out orders and pickups here. Food takes a while to be ready so be ready to wait and eat with people sitting or standing waiting for their food. There is small side table, window counter and larger side table but there is definitely not too many places to sit. I'd recommend just puting in an order before showing up to save on waiting time. Staff was friendly despite how busy it got. Located on Hastings St. Plenty of street parking & side street parking and definitely transit friendly.

We ordered the Mixed Grilled Platter (40 CAD) because we wanted to sample a little bit of everything, and it was an incredible value. It easily fed two people, and every type of meat was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The biggest surprise? The French fries. They were ridiculously crispy and ended up stealing the show. I honestly wish we had ordered an extra side. The pita was also warm, soft, and delicious. I just wish they had included a bit more of it. To top it all off, they brought us a complimentary dessert, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made an already great experience even better. The three of us each ordered our own dishes but shared a little bit of everything so I got to try the Beyond souvlaki platter (my dish), the grilled humboldt squid, and the lentil salad, all of which were amazing. I was really excited about the Beyond souvlaki because I love the souvlaki flavours but don't eat the usual souvlaki meats, so this was the first instance where I was able to try this sort of thing at a restaurant. The souvlaki skewer was bursting with flavour and all of the sides were delicious, the potatoes practically melted in my mouth. The lentil salad also exceeded my expectations - there was a substantial serving of lentils and lots of dill to give it a fresh herby flavour. The squid fro what I could tell (I don't eat squid very often at all) was also well-prepared, very tender and, like everything else, flavourful. Prices are not cheap but their portions are very generous. I appreciated the big vegetarian/vegan section of the menu!
