We arrived on time, but still waited over 30 minutes because the patient before us was running late. When it was finally our turn, we found out that the dentist wasn't even in the office. This was our second visit--we came back because the dentist was wonderful during our first appointment. However, nobody bothered to let us know in advance that the dentist wouldn't be there. Instead, an assistant saw my son. All he did was wipe my son's teeth with gauze. My 2-year-old was scared and started resisting, which is completely normal for a toddler. The assistant simply said, "It's just gauze," as if that would magically make a frightened toddler cooperate. After wiping his teeth, he said, "That's it for today." Excuse me? We waited over 30 minutes just for someone to wipe my son's teeth and send us home? I told them that they should have informed us the dentist wasn't there. The assistant then asked the receptionist to come over. The receptionist's response was, "Kids don't cooperate every time." I said, "I understand that. But the doctor examined him just fine during our last visit. I don't think the assistant knows how to examine a toddler." Only then did they decide to "try again." The assistant took a few photos and that was the end of the visit. I even scheduled another appointment before leaving, but the more I thought about the experience, the more upset I became. I ended up switching my son to a pediatric dentist. When I first called this office, I specifically asked if they could see babies. I was told they were a general dental office but were able to treat young children. If your office isn't experienced in examining toddlers, that's completely fine--but please be honest so parents can find a provider who is. At the very least, have the courtesy to notify patients ahead of time if the dentist won't be there. To make matters worse, after I found a new pediatric dentist, I called to cancel my son's next appointment. The receptionist simply said, "OK," and hung up on me without another word. This office wasted our time, failed to communicate, and handled the entire situation unprofessionally. I would not recommend bringing young children here.

Well after 10+ years, I have found my dentist home. I have never met a more kind, personable, and considerate dentist. His staff is so nice and very professional. The office is always clean and I have never had to wait more than 5 mins to be taken to the back for my appointments. And Dr Natividad makes it a point to come and speak to me EVERY TIME after the hygienist cleans my teeth. At my last dentist, I would sometimes wait for 15-30 mins before they called me in and then once I was in the chair, they'd have me waiting another 30 mins before receiving services. And if I was getting my teeth cleaned only, they'd dentist would not stop by to discuss my dental health. Here is why they have one star: I had been here MANY times,…read morespent a ton of money direct in cash, not even involving insurance. I planned to spend much more (I got TMJ treatments here) They pushed me to get invisalign a lot while I was there (many of you can feel me here, if you have bad teeth, they tell you you should get invisalign and it will help the overall health of your mouth and reduce cavities in general) I decided to go for it, since they kept telling me it was a refundable deposit: They would take pics, show me how the teeth would look, if I didnt like it, they would refund my money. Well, I paid the deposit and went in to look at the teeth. The "final" they showed looked like Sarah Jessica Parker horse style. Luckily I recorded everything. Every call, every message, everything. I had it all on tape. Because what ensued when I attempted to cancel was a 6 month long agonizing back and forth. First they tried to pressure me to keep the treatment, I continued to say "no" via phone over and over. I then went to my credit card company to attempt to remove the charge THAT way, but I was using USAA who were terrible. I finally had to serve them WRITTEN NOTICE that they should refund me. I was devestated since I loved this doctor, I loved my fillings, and I loved the TMJ treatments they gave me. How could he treat me like that?! When I served him with the 30 days to refund me, he claimed it was non refundable, so many things, that were obviously lies. He threatened me with courts, etc. He attempted to scare me out of the court I proposed if the money was not returned. I did not falter. I contacted invisalign DIRECTLY. They let me know ALL of their treatments are FULLY REFUNDABLE if the doctor sends back the plastic molds for your teeth without having been used. Furthermore they informed me the doctor "OKAYED" the invisalign pictures MONTHS after I'd been in battle with them to get my money back. MONTHS after I'd cancelled. I had VOICEMAILS saying I would get a refund from months before he approved the teeth with invisalign. HOW SHADY IS THAT MY FRIENDS? So although my intiial treatments went wonderfully,I was treated like scum, lied to and attempted to withold a large amount of money I was promised would be refundable when I elected not to look like a beaver. So my suggestion is to not go there. :)

At that time, dental…read moreimplant technology was not as advanced, and the bone in the lower front area was very narrow. Because of that, I had a bridge placed instead of implants. Over the years, several of my back teeth also failed, and I eventually had a total of seven implants placed. In 2025, the two teeth supporting my bridge fractured, leaving me missing six lower front teeth. I consulted three different dental offices, and all of them recommended placing four implants. Because these were front teeth and I already had experience with implants, I spent quite some time doing research and consulting different doctors. Eventually I found Dr. Andrew Petersen in Arcadia. Compared with other offices, his fees were somewhat higher, and I hesitated for a while before making the decision. In the end, I chose him for three reasons. First, if implants are done well, they can last fifteen years or even longer; if they are not done well, they may fail in eight to ten years. Second, I see dental work as a long-term investment in my health. Third, front-tooth implants are technically challenging, so choosing the right doctor is very important. When I visited Dr. Petersen, he recommended placing three implants instead of four. After the procedure, I was very satisfied with both his technical skill and the service provided. His staff members are very friendly, and the office is extremely well organized. Later, I also had another implant placed an upper right molar along with a bone graft. After the procedure, Dr. Petersen noticed the bone around that area was still weak, so he performed an additional bone graft to reinforce it--without charging me anything extra. He said he wants to make sure every implant he places is done properly and will last. That moment reassured me that choosing Dr. Petersen was absolutely the right decision. I've never necessarily been afraid of the dentist, but I HAVE had my share of horrible dental experiences. Since the first time I stepped foot into his office, I've felt like family. What I appreciate most is that he genuinely cares about his patients. He doesn't try to get over on you or recommend things just to make money. He's basically an "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" kind of dentist , and that means a lot when you're trusting someone with your teeth AND your wallet! Today I started the process of getting a root canal. I've had a root canal done somewhere else before, and let me just say... after my experience with Dr. Kholaki today, I can see why I eventually ended up needing an implant after whatever that other place did! The experience was completely different. My insurance didn't cover the cost, and for once, I didn't feel bad AT ALL handing over my credit card.
