Good service but hit or miss dishes. Order with care. The first bite of tomatoes were fresh and flavorful but the tomatoes in the salad were boarder line rotten (so soft and mushy with bland taste). The fish and octopus were delicious. Would come back just for the fresh seafood but the kitchen took quite a while bringing out our dishes so they offered sides on the house. The frozen yogurt was great! Took a chicken gyro to go but found it pretty dry and the yogurt sauce had way too much heat on it for my liking.

We were in the area and decided to give this place a try. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but I do wish they had more menu options to choose from. I ordered the Georgie's gyro, and it was actually pretty good. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the "few fries" that normally come with it due to my shellfish allergy, and I wasn't offered a replacement option. Since the entrées are a bit on the pricier side, I would have appreciated having a substitute or a more substantial side included. The quality of the gyro itself was good, though, and the ambiance was a highlight. I loved that you could see the wood-fired oven from the dining area -- it added a nice touch to the experience. They also have a great variety of drink options, making it a nice spot for a meal and drinks.

Had the absolute best time here w a friend. We came at an odd hour, at 330pm, and walked in without a rez. The interior is inviting and warm. Our server, Katie, was excellent. She was so friendly and knowledgeable, she explained all the different dishes so well and came around right at the exact times we needed her. OThe food was amazing. We started out w the mezze collection, we chose tzatziki, spicy whipped feta, and the skordalia w octopus, it came w 2 wood fired pitas. You guys, this mezze collection was straight fire. It was divine. It also was quite filling and we prob didn't need a whole fish after, but I was not mad about the fish bc the fish was incredible as well. We got the wild lavraki, which was explained to us as the cousin of branzino. It was deboned for us at our table and he sprinkled flaky salt, squeezed lemon, and added some delicious flavored oils on top. Prob the freshest fish I've had in the city. We also had a couple cocktails, I had a spritz that was lovely. The total bill was a bit shocking, cant lie, but I also believe it was worth it for the quality of service and food that we received. I will mos def be back! Parking over here is rough, plan ahead and give yourself some time to find parking if you're driving!

Such a delightful restaurant with beautiful intimate but also friendly vibe. We made reservation in case it would be packed. We were seated right away even though we were roughly 15 minutes early. We came here for brunch hours and everything we ordered was delicious. The service was amazing; our waiter was very friendly and made sure everything was delicious and perfect. We ordered the crushed avocado with spicy everything bagel (bagel in general was pretty salty for our taste) but still delicious, tsoureki French toast (so delicious, perfect sweetness from the honey), and Cretan with over easy eggs. They brought out a complimentary appetizer which was so simple but unbelievable delicious. Cherry tomatoes on the vine with olive oil and salt with some seasoning. I would eat this everyday if I could. The cherry tomatoes was so sweet with the perfect crunch. Definitely worth having. Will definitely be coming back to try other dishes on the menu. They also have valet for $15 for 3hrs, I believe.

I dined in for dinner at Andros Taverna for the first time recently, and I had a wonderful time! I've been multiple times for brunch, but this was my first dinner experience, and it will not be my last. My friends and I started the evening with champagne and the Mezze Collection, which is an assortment of spreads and pita. I've had this before at brunch, and it is a REQUIREMENT at Andros. We then ordered a salad, mussels, lamb shoulder, and the whole fish (Andros style) to share. Several of the items were on their specials menu for the night, and they were all to die for. The fish was prepared and deboned at the table, which took out all the stress and work! I can't wait to come back for another dinner experience!

Stopped by on a busy Saturday evening. The restaurant was packed but they were able to seat us outside. It was tolerable but as the night went on it grew colder and the lamp lights they have set up weren't enough to keep me warm. If you're picky about where you're seated or get cold easily I would recommend making a reservation. The server was super understanding and even helped us move a table closer to the heat lamps. Even though I was distracted by the cold, I was able to enjoy my meal. Dishes are made to share. They have a lot of good items but their menu is seasonal and rotates , so keep that in mind if you find something on there that you love. I do wish they updated their menus to reflect menu changes as there were a few items we asked about that they did not have. Would go back on a slower day and enjoy my meal inside!

We made a reservation the same night and there was plenty of open spots. Know that if you do not show to a reservation it can be up to $15 per person for missing it. Overall, ambience was great. We had a party of 6 plus 2 babies and the staff was accommodating of our strollers. Lydia was our server and she was very attentive to our group. Our food came out fairly quickly and it was all so delicious. The seafood orzotto was my favorite. We got a few things to share and everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything from their cocktails to the desserts! Definitely share so you can try more things!!

We went there for a dinner on Wednesday. They seated us after a few minutes. The ambience was great and they have happy hour specials (although check ahead during holidays). Great for a date night or family dinner. The rum old fashioned and the mezze platter were delicious!!! We tasted the whipped feta, eggplant, and favas spread. The pita was soft and fresh too! They have an incredible dessert menu and espresso machine for post dinner indulgence! We will be back to try out other dishes on the menu.

I absolutely loved coming to this spot. The food and atmosphere are incredible. My aunt and I came here before we went to a Candlelight concert at the Stan Mansion. Everything was delicious. We got the spicy whipped feta appetizer and then we got euros with french fries inside them. I can't recommend this place enough. I would highly recommend it and go back for sure.

I am back in Chicago, and this city truly rivals New York for incredible restaurants! The food at this spot is absolutely fantastic. The pita was out of this world, and the simple combination of tomatoes, olive oil, and salt was incredibly yummy. I also couldn't get enough of the hummus with feta--OMG, it was so good! While I really liked the food, the service was a bit of a letdown. Both the hostess and the servers seemed completely lost. I will definitely go back because the food is just too remarkable to miss, but I'll be returning strictly for the meals, not the atmosphere or service.

    1/2 Mediterranean Octopus Entree

Let me start with the three good things: great waiter, food is delicious, ambience is lovely. Ok now for the bad: Extremely expensive for little in return! We were served a watered down vodka soda and 3 sips worth of wine for $16 a glass. The half octopus "entree" comes with one and a half legs of an octopus for a whopping $22. No side also!! Last I checked, half an octopus would equate to 4 legs, no? This sad octopus serving, the chicken entree, and a few glasses of wine ran me about $300. If you have money to blow, I guess I'd say go here. But I'd recommend somewhere else if you actually want something worth $300.

Ceviche. Bowl kept sliding around on the ice. Weird presentation. Was very good.

Ill be really honest, there is a LOT of hype amongst my friend group about this place. So, clearly it must be me, which is why im giving this 4 stars. Normally I would give this a 3 at best. First off, we had a reservation for 2 on a Saturday night. We were sat in the (heated) patio on metal seats. I dont know bro, it's Saturday night date night and I'm not 21. Metal patio seats? We were also sat right next to a table of 6 with 2 very loud children. Our reservation was at 7pm, we do this on purpose. Shouldn't kids who are young enough to not control their volume be in bed? Food was okay. The way people were talking about this place is expected to be blown away. I just wasn't. Wine list was mediocre at best, although my husband really liked the cocktail he got (Midas touch). Our server was really sweet and the timing of everything was perfect really. Again, I was just expecting so much more.

This place has been on my list for a very long time and we got in for a Valentine's Day reservation. I was really excited about the limited menu because I wanted the shredded lamb shoulder. Our reservation was at 5:30... About as early as you can get for dinner and yet they were already sold out of the special so that was really disappointing that they would be so unprepared for one of the most popular dinner date holidays of the year... Alternatively, we went with a bunch of appetizers and split two entrées. Somewhere delicious somewhere very mid and somewhere a let down. Here's the breakdown: - Fried zucchini chips 5/5 - one of my favs in the city - Octopus 2/5 - one of my least favs in the city... it lacked flavor, was a small portion for the price and had a gooey string that grossed us both out - Fish spread that started with an M... haha 5/5 - I can't remember the name, but this was delicious! It was definitely pricey for the portion though especially because it didn't include pita... We had to pay an additional seven dollars for two pieces of pita, which was ridiculous - Oysters - 4/5 - husband enjoyed - Katifi cheese pie 4/5 - very tasty! Sweet and pricey but worth it - On special - fried fish- 2/5 - the waitress described these as small bite-size fish, but that is not how they came out and instead, it was really difficult to debone them and you hardly got any meat out of it. The flavor wasn't bad, but the experience was disappointing. I will say that they comped these after our feedback. - Gyros - 2.5/5 - it's not that these were bad per se... But I've had way better in the city to include fast, casual restaurants, and the price for the portion was pretty ridiculous again. Hardly any accoutrements. - Rockfish with pistachio brown butter - 5/5 - I believe this fish was on special and she described it as being a sweeter fish. They did come to the table and cut it for you so it was a lot easier to eat. The fish was cooked perfectly and had a sweet flavor. I also liked that you could choose your own dressing because the brown butter pistachio was delicious. - baklava froyo 3/5 - i'll bump this up to three because my husband liked it more than I did, but I was very disappointed by this dessert. The Greek yogurt was sour as to be expected, but instead of having actual baklava or pistachio flavor to balance it out, it basically just tasted like they dumped simple syrup on it and it was like a sour ice cream with just pure sugar drizzle... It really didn't come together for me. Overall, the service was really good and our waiter was very sweet. Also, our wine was delicious and the zucchini chips and fish spread were good, so maybe we would come for appetizers and drinks, but I definitely wouldn't return for a Greek dinner with the other options we have in the city.

This is prob the one thing that I love the most. Great service. The seafood boil is pretty good. They give you a bib and gloves to keep you relatively clean. You have to use your hands to eat your food and work for it. Go for the seafood Cajun sauce (garlic, butter, lemon pepper). It was super good flavor. Mild is the way to go. We asked for spicy sauce on the side for an extra dollar. I would skip the preset family meals. Order 1-2 lbs of your favorite seafood. They have prices per lb on the large chalk board. The shrimp, crawfish was cooked well. The crab legs were boiled before cooked, so the shell was soft and easy to cut with scissors. Next time, I'd get the shrimp, crawfish, clams, and mussels. The family feast ($145)- came with king crab, snow crab, option of 2 from shrimp, crawfish, mussels, clams. Also, a scoop of rice, green beans, garlic noodles, and fries. I would pass on the king crab and snow crab. Garlic noodles were average. Fries were average . They also sell boba drinks if you like that

First, the service itself was good, we were seated right away with no reservations, but upon entering the restaurant has a very strong almost mildew like smell. Our server let us know right away that they were short staffed in the kitchen and therefore orders were taking 45 minutes to an hour to come out. Not a problem, we understand and ordered some apps to get us by. The food is why I'm giving it 3 starts. We ordered the calamari, which was soooo overcooked it was tough and chewy, I couldn't even swallow it. We ordered the cajun fries too and they were okay. My partner and I both ordered king crab legs with the house cajun sauce. Let me just say the sauce itself was amazing! Super delicious and tasty, not too salty, very flavorful. But both of our king crab legs were way overcooked, to the point where the meat seemed shrunk, it was very firm and rubbery/gummy. Unfortunately for paying such a high price for 1lb, this was extremely disappointing. Being that 3 seperate dishes were overcooked, I personally wouldn't return for this reason alone. Very disappointed but I feel like this issue can easily be fixed! Hoping to return one day because the flavors were definitely there, but unfortunately not anytime soon.
