I was an employee here, part of the in store sales team at Home Depot. I can speak from experience as a customer as well as I had a new AC and Furnace put in. Not once was I offered different choices for the systems, which they are supposed to give you 3 options, but my AC didn't work at first. I also did not get the financing deal that was being advertised of up to a year before first payment. They took first payment before the AC was even working. Lastly there was no employee discount like they claim they have. As an employee I strongly advise anyone looking for a job to avoid Owen Oberry. He abuses his power, he had offered one employee a promotion then out of no where started "training" another employee for the same position because she was single. This employee was driving his car around all day so he could go to the gym. Owen also would call me to discuss issues he had instead of coming to talk to me in person and even went off on me the day before Easter based on false information. He later called me to apologize but the damage was done and I was told to go home early. He never reimbursed gas for sending me out 1 hour+ from my home. Instead it was under false pretenses that I was getting a promotion and only stopped right before he forced me to quit. He still owes me over $2000 in reimbursement for job related expenses as well. Just a word of caution before accepting a job offer from him. He will run you into the ground, force you to travel an hour plus as a new hire to train other new hires, will take his stress out on new employees still acclimating to the job, and he will not hear anyone's concerns it's a quit on spot if you are not happy. It was so nice to wake up to consistent heat throughout my house this morning. Our previous furnace never warmed like this. I would highly recommend Andy's Statewide Heating and Cooling to anyone needing a new furnace. When our furnace went out on Saturday, we contacted them through a Home Depot referral. The repairman, Terry, showed up in just a couple of hours, checked everything out and then unfortunately gave us the verdict, we had anticipated. Because of its age and condition, we needed a new furnace. He presented us with 4 options he would recommend for the size and style of our home. He thoroughly explained each one with the associated pros and cons. He didn't push us to make an immediate decision, and left us with the information. He said he would ask Vicky, in the office, to follow up with us on Monday morning. Monday morning, Vicky did call to follow up, and was friendly, extremely helpful, and understanding. She worked with us to be able to get an efficient unit that we could afford and scheduled the installation, amazingly for the very next day. The technician, Jake, who installed it was very friendly and extremely meticulous about everything he did. Unfortunately, it took all morning just to uninstall and remove the 40 year old monster furnace we had, so he ended up having to work much later than I'm sure he ever anticipated. But even with that, he didn't cut any corners to finish sooner. He did a fantastic job, and finally had everything finished, cleaned up, and all the paperwork completed around 9:30 last night. He had arrived just after 9 a.m. Again, anyone needing any heating or cooling needs can't go wrong with this company. read more

I left this review elsewhere, but felt that it was worth sharing again here. This was the absolute best experience we've ever had with any service technician from ANY company we have used! To our dismay last night, we couldn't turn our furnace on and, even though it was after hours, I was able to easily make an appt. for today. The technician, Ken W., showed up on time, was very professional, diagnosed the problem and had the part on the truck to fix it. He also went ahead and cleaned the furnace and did the fall check up on it so we wouldn't have to make a separate appt. for that (and have to stay home another day). He took the time to check the humidifier and offered to change the filter on that for us. Hearing me on the phone tell my husband that there was a HUGE spider in the basement (I could have put a saddle on it and rode this monster!), Ken went above and beyond the call of duty by stepping in and taking care of that too, lol! As the spider was by the water softener, he noticed that the light was blinking and let us know that it was out of salt, offering to fill it for me if we had a bag available. Wow! We've always been happy with the service from Andy's Statewide, but Ken W. was the best of the best! I've been a customer for some years, and after last year when the technician told me I had carbon monoxide leaking and I had to get a new furnace, (which I almost went thru with it but I decided to get a second opinion) the nameless tech lied, I had no leakage I guess he wanted to make a sale ( it was in December).So when I needed them to come out this year in November( keeping paperwork from years past I requested a certain tech, not the tech I wanted but I needed heat) so I was told my ignighter was cracked and it cost $600, but not to worry he would give me a discount and include or waive service fee( which I had the "membership"($250) package already,so I would only pay $299,(nice discount right?)I thought so too until I snap shot and googled the part that he left behind to find out that this $600 part cost about $20-$25. Not sure if the technicians get paid commission per job but to me it seems like it, because I got ripped off big time so enough is enough I'm done using Andy'sStatewide.If you can't trust your technician to be upfront and honest what's the point? read more

Cortez and Corey were not only friendly but also highly knowledgeable and efficient in their work. After completing the installation, Cortez took the time to provide a thorough walkthrough, ensuring I understood how to maintain both the furnace and air conditioner to keep them running smoothly. He also pointed out that the air conditioner had not been properly coded before, which was an important detail. Their attention to detail and expertise made the entire experience outstanding! The comfort level in my home has now significantly improved since before. Previously, we were dealing with 90-degree weather and a faulty heating and cooling system. I had a fall tune up, service and maintenance done by Andy's. The service technician, Joe S., called before he arrived to verify I was home, and then promptly showed up. Joe was very professional and knowledgeable, and I learned much about my heating and cooling system. I had many questions, and Joe was able to answer them in terms that I understood; he was clean cut, polite, and has great customer service. Joe inspected, tested, and cleaned my furnace; and discovered that the previous homeowner had installed the wrong filter!! I am so happy that I had decided to have the fall tune up! Next time my furnace needs work, I'll be calling Andy's, and I will definitely request Joe as the technician. read more

We had a great experience with Andy's Statewide in Orion Twp. Kurt came out and did an inspection and gave us a quote for a new furnace and AC unit. We had a few questions and Vicki called us back and was helpful. Brad and Nevin showed up the following day to do the installation. They were professional, polite, covered the floors with tarps, and picked up after themselves. They spent time with us after the installation to answer our questions and made sure our Nest was interfacing with the furnace + AC units. They pulled the permit and paid for it. We need to schedule a final inspection with our township in a couple weeks. We highly recommend them. read more

Also required a couple of modifications to the ductwork to properly balance comfort throughout my home. Lowes had a representative giving out inspections for $49. I agreed. They came out and claim there were all kinds of problems and parts that need replacing. My furnace is only 5 years old. They quoted me $3000 for the replacement parts, which are under warranty and another $429 to install. This was ridiculous. A brand new furnace is less than $2000 plus installation. Even there labor rate was ridiculous. Do not use them for anything. They are trying to inflate prices. I called my original installer and he said I don't need any of those replacement parts and he came out and serviced my furnace and didn't charge anything. read more

We have come back to Andy's after trying out a different company. Technician Rich K. came to do a furnace tune-up. He made a cheerful and professional impression. He was very articulate in explaining what he was going to do and why, and what was the benefit of signing up for the annual maintenance plan (good value!). We were given an estimated time of arrival at the time of scheduling, and he phoned half an hour earlier to confirm. He left us with a clear report of the state of our furnace and humidifier. Excellent experience from beginning to end. Salesman John P was knowledgeable and explained many options to help me determine the best products for my new home. The technician team of Eric, Shelby, and Ashton arrived on time and ready to roll. These guys were on fire! OMG what can I say I called Andy's Statewide at 7am about my A/C working on this extremely hot day Friday. I was told they could be out between 10am and 2pm the same day. They were running behind and called to let me know. My service technician Dennis call when he was on his way and got my A/C back running for under $150. All I can say is I will be calling them again. He was very polite, knowledgeable, answered any and all of my questions, even gave additional options to purchase such as the Nest Thermostat, and got me pricing for a humidifier for installation on the furnace. I could not have asked for a better experience. He has an excellent work ethic. If I had a company, I would certainly want him to work for me and I'd hope all of the employees would be like him!!! read more

I'm not sure of Mike's title there, but he was awesome. We needed repair work when everyone else did and we had excellent response and service. At the point where we were not even getting calls back from other companies. Andy's people were great, we have been giving their name out to anyone who asks for hear/cool help.
