Dog themed (even "dog parking" outside!) with dog merch. They've got some pastries and light snacks. standard run of the mill coffee drinks and then... my absolute favorite... latte einspanner! layers of cold milk, ice, espresso and whipped cream. Drinks: oat milk cappuccino - good, milk was bell foamed, served hot with a nice balance of espresso and oat milk -122F - good, interesting concept of an espresso served hot in an ice cold glass with some milk/cream on the bottom creating a frozen layer Food: strawberry and cream croissant waffle - okay, waffle was served warm with whipped cream and diced strawberries, waffle had a slightly tough texture, flavor was breads with a hint of sweetness Service was okay pretty quick order at the register and pick up at the counter when ready. When it comes to matcha I would across town and even cross oceans to get a good cup. Living in San Francisco there are plenty of places to not only get matcha but also coffee. There is also some places are where you can just camp out and relax and enjoy a cup of matcha in the city. So I cross Ocean Avenue for the quest of getting matcha for Don Juan La Matcha at Diamond Coffee N' Pastry. On an Ocean stroll to Ocean Avenue in SF I landed at Diamond Coffee N' Pastry. Inside it looks like I was a camp site but it reminded me more of glamp site. So I tried the cheese and turkey pastry which is as not too cheesy but a bit flakey like some in SF. Don Juan de la matcha had to get the matcha latte. It was not too sweet and it was smooth and tasty. This is a good pit stop and hidden gem called Diamond Coffee N' Pastry on Ocean Avenue. Such a cute cafe with the nicest workers! The strawberry matcha latte was a great pick me up -- the cafe was also a life saver with using the bathroom! My new staple coffee shop in SF! The staff are friendly and there is ample seating inside the cafe. I love and recommend the Einspanner latte here, which tastes more like a tiramisu latte but still very delicious. If you like a stronger coffee I would recommend asking for an additional shot. I've ordered the brown sugar latte with no cinnamon and it was a bit too sweet for my liking, but could possibly ask for less sweetener. Most recently got the latte einspanner and it was really good. I visited this location on a Sunday afternoon over the holidays (holiday hours were posted on door but not updated online, and was unable to call ahead to confirm hours). Parking in this area is generally a bit challenging but street parking is possible but the whole foods is across the street iykyk There was plenty of seating but I assume it can get packed on a regular workday/school day. The theme is adventure/camping so lots of foldable camping chairs you literally sink into. There are a few regular tables and chairs for ~ergo~. My friend and I both got einspanners (matcha and hojicha). There was so much milk and cream relative to tea that it really doesn't matter which one you order unless you care about the color. They give you a little wooden stick to eat the cream, which was undoubtedly tasty - it is mildly sweetened cream not straight whip. I've been coming to Diamond Coffee N' Pastry on Ocean Ave regularly since January, and it's become one of my favorite places to get a hojicha! I've introduced so many friends to the hojicha einspanner and everyone loves it too! Even though Diamond has multiple locations, this is the only one that serves hojicha. I hope the other locations will add hojicha to their menus too. But what stands out the most to me is the einspanner. It's unbelievably yummy; it's thick, fluffy, and tastes like marshmallows! I could honestly eat a whole bucket of it! The hojicha itself is a little on the lighter side, but it still has a delicious nutty flavor that pairs perfectly with the einspanner. Once it's all mixed together, the balance of nuttiness and sweetness is perfect. The space is super cute and has a cozy camping theme. Most of the seating consists of camping chairs and tables that really tie into the aesthetic, so there are only a few tables that are ideal for studying or getting work done. It's definitely a fun spot to hang out and catch up with friends. I also love all the little tributes to the owners' dog, Diamond. Diamond Coffee N' Pastry has multiple locations throughout SF and each has a unique theme. The Ingleside location is camping themed with chairs/decor to reflect that! I ordered an Earl Grey tea and a spinach pastry. Can't quite judge the taste of the tea as it's just from a packet, but the pastry was quite delicious! No qualms over the drink/food and appreciated the wooden board it was served on. Seating-wise, the location is on the smaller side. There are one to two larger tables, but the remaining seating areas are primarily for single or duos. Additionally, this cafe does have outlets, but would recommend coming on a full charge just in case they are taken. The space itself was clean and they also have a bathroom! Important to note: Parking is virtually impossible, but public transportation to this cafe is easy! Be sure to allot at least 10-15 minutes to look for parking on the side streets or to snag a metered spot. read more

I been to that once concrete entryway where I had merely average fruit tea; a place opposite to Whole Foods close to home. After seeing it as Diamond Coffee N' Pastry, I'm starting to fall in love with this place. From one bubble tea café to another, I seen many changes. First timer and got a honey comb latte and banana caramel croffle. My sisters got a different coffee and a strawberry banana croffle Honeycomb latte was different with an actual honeycomb cube on the stick that can melt into the coffee from the heat. I didn't taste anything special with this and the coffee was okay. Nothing special, imo. Banana caramel croffle was something else. There are actual pieces of honey on the banana that added a hard, sweet, texture. Also on the plate was biscoff cracker pieces and ice cream with caramel drizzled all over. Two people can probably share this, I had it myself. Ice cream and finished this at 10am? RIP to the rest of my day. I give this desert a 7.5. A little too sweet, but good and different. This is such a cute cafe! It has a camping theme to it. I got their Hojicha Einspanner and Chive & Cheese Danish. The Hojicha Einspanner had a very strong hojicha flavor. But the cream top of the Einspanner didn't do much for me (it tasted more like a marshallow top than a cream top to me). I'll just stick to their lattes next time. A cute and unassuming coffee shop with a campground themed interior. Stopped by Diamond Coffee n' Pastry recently to meet up with a friend and it was surprisingly busier than expected. There were quite a few people working and some just hanging out, but we were able snag a seat by the front entrance. There's a good amount of seating, but with the unique campground theme, a good amount of chairs are like lawn chairs and not super comfortable. The same thing applies to the little wooden tables, which seemed like they would easily topple over. Although they have more seating by the wall, this area seems for more suitable for people studying/working/using laptops. I ended up getting an iced cookie butter latte and it was delicious. It included whipped cream and topped with some cookie crumbles. The drink wasn't overly sweet and had just enough ice. They also have a good amount of pastries and sweet treats available which I didn't get a chance to try this time. Customer service was friendly and helpful, and I liked the overall cozy ambiance of the coffee shop. There's a good amount of drink options on the menu and the prices seemed pretty fair. The only downside is that parking is quite limited on Ocean Ave., so you may need to park in a nearby residential area and walk over. Otherwise, Diamond Coffee n' Pastry is worth a visit and I look forward to visiting another location or returning here and trying another coffee drink soon. read more

Great addition to Ocean Ave/Ingleside! This is a clean and modern/cute cafe located nearby CCSF ocean campus along Ocean Ave. It is a good atmosphere to sit and study alone or have a small hangout. It's not super big but there are maybe at least 8 tables. So far I've been here three times and every time, the staff have been friendly and pleasant. I ordered the strawberry matcha with oat milk and this came out to be around $7.60, which I thought to be kind of pricy but not out of the ordinary for SF. The drink itself was good, not too sweet. There are also some cakes and other dessert options. The cups and napkins have a cute design on it and it seems like its a dog friendly cafe. read more

We've been to the one on Clement and really liked it, so we were glad to see one pop up on Ocean Ave! Parking is difficult in that area but this place is worth the fuss! The theme of the coffee shop is national parks/camping and they did such a good job! They are extremely welcoming to dogs and even had treats for them at the counter. I visited Diamond Coffee N' Pastry for the first time yesterday. I was honestly expecting their drinks to be mostly sugary drinks. But I was surprised to see a nice offering of beans for pour-overs and ordered the Tanzania Peaberry. The pour over was really well made and tasted even better as it cooled. They also serve Einspanner lattes and croffles which I haven't seen served at any other business nearby. I love these as a special treat and can't wait to try them! The decor and seating is also really nice and creative - mimicking a campsite out in nature. I also noticed they have complimentary dog treats which dog owners will probably appreciate. Overall, I will be back and recommend to my friends in the area! Stopped by here during their soft opening and they were having a buy one get one deal for their cakes! I chose the Earl Grey Basque Cheesecake and Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Cake! Both were deliciousss and just the right amount of sweetness! I like that the earl grey flavor wasn't too overpowering and the cheesecake was fluffy. The Dubai pistachio cake had a nice crunchy layer on the bottom and soft layer on top. The establishment also sells a wide variety of coffee beans!
