This is truthfully my new favorite coffee shop in the city. Latinx-owned, just enough seating to never feel busy, and great food to match the great drinks. I went on a weekday and was hoping to get some work done. Most of the seats were available when I got there and the staff kindly shared the WiFi. They were overall extremely friendly and just their vibe made me want to go back again. I think a pitfall of a lot of SF coffee shops is the food, but both the drinks and food were superb and just what I needed to kickstart my day. They have unique flavors and seasonal drinks. Came here to work since I had a power outage, solid wifi. Although the space is small, the layout is great and festive. Enough seating, both mix of both indoor and outdoor space. Order a latte ($5.75) which contained pretty good coffee beans, some cherry and chocolate notes. The barista was quick at making the drinks. The matcha is hand whisk here as well which is awesome to see. In addition, the baked goods are from local bakery in Noe Valley and there's also warm food. I'll come to try the food next. Charm is a slightly sleepy neighborhood coffee shop on Ocean Ave. It is surprisingly spacious in the store as both walls are lined with cozy seating. If it's a nice day then there's also some tables and a bench outside as well, which is perfect for people watching or just enjoying some sunshine. I stopped in to surprise the wifey with some pre-Valentine's day coffee. I ordered a blueberry latte with almond milk for her and a cold brew for myself. The blueberry latte is made with homemade syrup which gave it a nice touch. The cold brew was silky smooth but packed enough energy to help jumpstart my day! I definitely felt seen here! Sweet baristas that know their craft, welcoming and friendly staff that look out for their customers wellbeing and safety! Such an adorable little coffee shop with two window seats available on both sides of entrance. They have mild blends of Latin American coffees, which my sensitive stomach can handle and on top of that- THEY'RE ORGANIC!!! I got a regular coffee, which had a beautiful light, fruity acidic smell with a semi creamy or nutty aftertaste. It paired wonderfully with my butter croissant! My friend enjoyed his matcha latte and a morning bun! I loved their honey inside sitting area, but since we just came from yoga, we wanted to sit outside in the fresh air. This is such a cute little coffee spot! The interior is such a vibe, I saw lots of locals come in the whole time I was there. There is not much seating so expect to take your coffee to go. I got the mocha with oat milk and it was crafted nicely but I felt like there wasn't that much coffee taste - the oat milk overpowered the espresso a little too much, I will try it with whole milk the next time. read more

Such a cute new neighborhood coffee shop on Ocean Ave, right across the street from 24 Hour Fitness. I've been complaining for years that Ingleside needs more coffee shops, and this is the perfect little addition! I ordered the holiday drink, a cranberry espresso tonic, and my fiancé ordered the regular espresso tonic. Both were delicious and super refreshing. There's limited space inside, so it's not the most ideal spot for working, but it is a wonderful place to sit, relax, and enjoy a great cup of coffee with a pastry on a Sunday morning. Hojicha latte ($6): 3/5. It was very earthy and completely unsweetened which isn't really my cup of tea. It lacked the sweet undertones of good hojicha so I'd probably try something else next time. Stopped by here for some lattes and ordered their holiday specials. We got their gingerbread latte and peppermint mocha and both were equally good. Both drinks weren't too sweet, which I loved! Really great spot to get coffee over on Ocean ave in Ingleside. They make coffee as good as any of the other good shops in the city. They have a good pastry case and I see a lot of people get their breakfast burritos, which look really good but I haven't tried yet. Staff are always very friendly. It's a smallish shop but it has a good amount of seating given it's size and I see a lot of people doing work there or hanging out when I go. Parking is hit or miss in the area, but you can usually find a meter nearby or you can also park on the side streets for free if you can find a spot. Overall, a great spot for a coffee, and breakfast burrito or a pastry. read more

Absolutely loved this charming place. My boyfriend and I dropped by at around 10am for a nice morning pick-me-up. Be prepared to wait as there's only 1-2 people making the drinks + some staff in the back making the food. It's a fairly small coffee shop. We both didn't mind the wait! The line really picked up after we got to queue. I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk + extra matcha powder. I also purchased a matcha tin they were selling. It was mixed with a chasen & chawan which I was happy to see. Overall - worth the wait. The color of the matcha was beautiful and exactly what I look for. Super cute coffee shop on Ocean Ave! Aptly named, this place is very charming! Charm is currently decked out in a mix of Lunar New Year and Valentines Day decor, including cute floral arrangements on tables. Came in on a Friday around 9am. It's a cozy spot with a small amount of table and counter seating that seems to attract a lot of locals (quite a few came in and out during my visit). I can't resist a seasonal special, so ordered one of the Valentine drinks, the BerryChoco--Licious Latte, and it was yummy! Not overwhelming sweet, made with their homemade strawberry and chocolate syrup. Really enjoyed it and was tempted to get their matcha special before heading out... Edit: I got it and it was yummy! Bleh. When I walked in, the barista (and I think owner) was happily chatting up a group who already had their drinks. If it was just for a minute, that'd be one thing, but I stood there for a good 4-5 minutes, completely ignored and feeling so awkward and like I had intruded. Not a "I'll be right with you" or anything to that effect. When she finally got to me, the energy and cheer just fled her body. It was just jarring to experience such a contrast in service. I'm not sure why I received different treatment. Maybe I'm too old for a super duper Gen Z cafe. The almond matcha latte was okay. Like other reviews noted, it was too milky. Visited on a Sunday morning around 9am, there were a few other guest visiting but not too busy. Cafe is fairly small with maybe 10-15 seats so very cozy. Drinks: Oat nog cappuccino (8oz)- a special for the holidays, this was delicious, nice warm spices with some creaminess and a light sweetness reminiscent of eggnog, really enjoyed this because it wasn't too heavy or rich, had great balance of oat milk, espresso and eggnong flavor, definitely worth a try if you like eggnong Drip coffee - solid well balanced, nice roasted coffee flavor, not too acidic, and a standard small is 12oz Service was good, only one person at the register taking orders and making coffee so might be a small wait as they service guest but warm friendly and welcoming. Overall a nice addition to Ingleside, good coffee and espresso drinks. Coffee is good but the service (especially for the food and to get your order in) is considerably slow. We waited about 20 minutes for our burrito, only to find out they put the wrong meat. It then took another 15 minutes for her to get the correct burrito out to us. The iced matcha was delicious at Charm coffee! Customer service was also good and helpful. The avocado toast was huge and I was excited for it but it had a very thick layer of butter on both pieces under the avocado which was unexpected and not listed in the description. Charm is a real welcome addition to the coffee scene in this part of town. The coffee here is very good and is the best in this area by far. They do espresso based drinks as well as pour overs. I have had the cappuccino, latte and macchiato here and they are all great. The pastries come from Black Jett in Bernal Heights. The sandwiches they make here also look good. i went on a nice sunny day! parking was difficult to find but it is right on a train line and i bet that there is a bus that could get you there as well! i spent $20.04 + 15% tip and got a peppermint mocha and a mortadella cheese and ham sandwich warmed up. there was one person in line ahead of us and it still came out quickly! there were two workers , both were very calm and very kind. i would definitely come here to get some work done. the peppermint mocha came with a nice peppermint flavor, a physical candy cane and a light mocha flavor. it was delicious but i wish there was more presence of mocha! mortadella and cheese sandwich was literally just cheese, meat and bread heated up. it was very underwhelming for the $12 price tag. i'm almost certain that they didn't even use relax cheese not only from the flavor but the way that it slid around in the actual sandwich. there was lots of what i assumed butter or oil that dropped out when i was eating coating my hands in a greasy film. it is a very cute coffee shop! set up well on a nice street, i will definitely be back. read more

finally got to try this super cute hole in the wall cafe. wasn't busy when I got there but somehow I must have attracted the crowd because the place really filled up. seems like a spot locals frequent. there are about 2-3 tables and chairs and a narrow counter space with stools to sit at. I got food and drinks to go for stern grove. coffee was good, though nothing special. soyrizo breakfast burrito was delicious, satisfied my cravings.
