Been meaning to try this place and finally got a chance around noon on a Saturday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool ambiance and laid back vibes coupled with super friendly staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the shakerato and cortado. We thought both were delicious. However, the cortado wasn't hot enough and the shakerato could've used a bit more ice or dairy. Overall, I'd recommend it.

Why did the espresso keep checking his watch? He was pressed for time Great lattes and super cool staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior has a really niche vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely adding this to my coffee list. Check them out!

Spaniard never disappoints

Seems criminal that I haven't reviewed Snowbird yet since I visit it weekly... so here is my overdue review! My favorite local coffee shop. Maybe my favorite in the city. Staff are super friendly and chill and always give my dog Rusty a treat. Coffee is consistent and the Spaniard (condensed milk latte) is my go-to order, delicious hot or cold. Over the weekend they serve delicious Filipino-inspired pastries (ube and calamansi buns from La Kalidad) and they have a solid weekday rotation too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is small, some standing room with a selection of their beans and merch on display - encouraging you to explore the neighborhood rather than sit in a coffee shop all day...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you see a line know it's worth the wait!!

Batch Coffee with Milk

This is a coffee shop for coffee people and my go-to spot for a caffeine fix. They have a robust (but not extravagant) menu of classic and niche coffee and espresso drinks. They'll do a dirty chai if you ask them (but probably not a PSL - they seem above such frivolity). Probably my favorite thing on the menu is the Spaniard, a latte of sorts made with condensed milk. I would advise trying everything else on the menu first because once you have a Spaniard, you won't want anything else. Also, they use frozen coffee in their cold brew, which I so very much appreciate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Snowbird is primarily a place for good coffee, not for gathering, and the only seating is a bench on the sidewalk outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, they have some limited food offerings from local vendors (e.g., Filipino pastries and, more recently, a pop-up sandwich service on weekends). But this is just icing on the proverbial cake. This place is about coffee and they do it really well.

AMAZING coffee! Recommend getting here early as the line can sometimes be long. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great selection of drinks, fast and friendly service, and great location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a bar inside, but not much seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Iced matcha latte with oat milk
Chloe S.

Stopped by on a Saturday hoping for a punchy iced matcha latte. I ordered my drink with oat milk and was ready to feel the caffeine course through me. However the matcha fell short of having that signature mildly sweet and earthy flavor. Would love to come back and try some of the other drinks but pass on the matcha latte if you're a matcha fiend.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Drop in spot. Casual vibe roaster.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Can get crowded so be patient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great taste w/ a solid caffeine hit.

Finally had the opportunity to come here since they're only opened for a certain number of hours daily. The inside is super cute and this is definitely a to-go place as there's no seating inside or outside. Based on Yelp reviews (thank you fellow reviewers!), I decided to order the Spaniard with almond milk. I was a little disappointed with how small the cup was (especially the price) when my name was called but after sipping it throughout the morning, it did have enough caffeine to get me through the day. It was a really delicious. If you're in the neighborhood, please check this place out!

No frills coffee shop. No seating / basic coffee drinks and they have just vanilla syrup. I enjoyed my hot cup of vanilla latte! I don't know if this will be my go-to coffee spot since I'm a flavored latte admirer but I wouldn't mind returning if snowbird is an option on my way. Parking is busy, might want to street park a block or two down.

This little coffee shop was the only local one I could find open in the UCSF area on a Sunday morning! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very small inside and had a long line, but went by quickly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The lady who helped me with my order was very kind in explaining all of their special drinks to me. I ordered an iced version of one of the specialty drinks that was similar to a macchiato with honey and cinnamon (can't remember the name), which was $5. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were also lots of people in line with their doggos![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came here during a weekend morning while waiting for bread nearby. I saw locals waiting so I thought it'd be an exciting venture :) The shop is super small but homely, pretty standard coffee fair. I got one of their specialties (the spaniard) and it was pretty flavorful! A little on the sweeter side though for my palette Not a bad place to stop by for coffee in the area~

On the days we have gone, the line has varied from being out the door to a quick walk in and order - truly just depends. Regardless of the long line, these drinks are soooo good. Upon entering the coffee shop, you'll see a good amount of seating, but for the times we have gone, the majority of the seats are taken. It is definitely a variety of people socializing, working, reading books, or just hanging out. Parking is metered or street parking, and we haven't had any issue finding parking! It's also in an area where you can shop around (across the street) if you want to grab a bite as well. Our go to orders include the Mocha Dream Espresso Cloud and the Nitro Mango, but we have also gotten the Hojicha Cloud, which is amazing as well. We love the thickness and flavors of the cold foams - you cannot go wrong with any of the cloud drinks. As popular as this place has become, it truly is worth the trip! We will always make a trip whenever we are in the city!

We waited quite a while, and while the drinks were good, I'm not sure they completely justified the wait. If you can come during off-peak hours, I think you'll enjoy it much more. Overall, it's a good café with quality coffee and a nice vibe. Just be prepared for a line if you visit during busy times.

They explained that the flight includes an espresso shot, espresso shot with milk, hot coffee, and iced coffee. I hadn't had a straight espresso shot before, so this wasn't for me personally just because it was so overpowering. I enjoyed the other three though. Like the majority of SF, parking is difficult to locate. I was dropped off nearby the location. There is indoor and outdoor seating; I was able to grab an empty spot late in the morning on a weekend, but I don't think seating is always readily available. It's not a huge space.

It seems like there's also an upstairs but did not get the chance to check it out. I got an iced latte with their almond macadamia milk, and they're also so nice to do complimentary cold brew! So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

Didn't realize the rose latte would come as a hot drink but it was still good. Opted for less sweet but was a little more sweet than expected compared to the Yemeni latte. Yemeni coffee was light and subtle with cinnamon. Milk cake was moist and not too sweet - texture reminds me of a les tres cake. Rose and saffron flavors were perfect and not too overpowering Turkish coffee is not bitter or too strong. It's located at the filthy corner of 4th and Clara, which made the outside smell of urine. Fortunately the cafe itself is pretty clean, which is a nice escape from the street. I ordered an Americano and my friend got one of their $8+ lattes, which were fine, but nothing special. My biggest gripe was the service and absolute scorn of the customer. My friend and I sat at the counter basically in a staring contest with the woman behind the counter, who just stared right back. After some 30 seconds, we finally flagging her down to place our order. After turning around the drinks suspiciously quickly, my friend and I sat down to catch-up in the empty cafe. Before long, the barista pumps up the volume, increasing higher and higher every 5 minutes or so, as if to signal to us that our time was up. I asked her to turn down the volume, which she tuned down from an 11 to a 7, but minutes later it continued to creep up, like the snooze setting of an alarm clock coaxing you to wake up - except in this case, to get out. Ultimately, the volume got unbearable and we finally threw in the towel and got out of there to let the barista enjoy her music. Definitely never going back there - they clearly don't want the business. Food: 5/10 Service: 0/10 Price: $$ Atmosphere: 4/10
