Stumbled upon Bello Coffee on our way to Glen Park and it ended up being such a great find! The interior is super cute and has all these cool coffee mechanics on display. They even have a machine where you can grind your own coffee beans. I got their hazelnut oat latte and it was honestly the best hazelnut latte I've had in the city!! been seeing this on my maps whenever i commute to work, and i wanted to try it during my last week at the office! went around 7:45am on a tuesday and it was decently busy. they have a variety of savory breakfast options as well as pastries service was fine, the cashier was friendly but they weren't calling out the orders (at least loud enough). i had to assume that since no one else was grabbing the sandwich that it was mine (the drink had my order on it thankfully). lavender white mocha (8/10): the espresso is strong but smooth, not bitter at all! it balances out well with the lavender flavor that isn't overly bitter/floral. the whipped cream on top is a nice touch too. overall this drink is my ideal levels of creamy and sweet (not TOO sweet but appreciated by a sweet tooth). bacon breakfast sandwich (5/10): heated up, it looks MUCH smaller than what was in the pastry case. english muffin was soft, kinda had to rip at it with my teeth. thought there would be more inside (just bacon and egg). not sure if this was worth the $6. read more

Excellent spot for a solid morning meal. Stopped by after training and grabbed a cold brew on tap and their loaded protein breakfast bowl. The ingredients were incredibly fresh--perfectly ripe avocado, high-quality smoked salmon, and the eggs were poached to perfection. Don't think I've ever shared my review of this very quaint family-owned neighborhood cafe despite growing up so close to here! Their drink specialties are superb and they just came out with a new iced blueberry matcha latte, although their vanilla rose latte is definitely go-to. They make a solid latte, I usually get a hot latte with whole milk, and I really like their coffee. They have small breakfast sandwiches and I really like the turkey sausage with cheese. They warm it up too! The service is kind and the you usually get drinks/food relatively quick even when it's busy. They have lots of tables inside. Bathroom is only available to customers! I've been here a few times and Bello Coffee & Tea delivers on the quality. I've had various coffee beverages, hot and iced, matcha lattes and their chai lattes. They offer seasonal specialty drinks but I haven't tried them as I keep ordering my favorites. This place servces one of the best chai lattes I've had. You can order it spicy or sweet or a combination of both, which is my preference and it's a perfect balance. The matcha latte comes unsweetened and is so creamy. Unlike some other places that pour a powder into a cup and shake it like a martini, Bello's baristas make matcha tea the proper way with a bamboo whisk. The coffee beverages are well made with a lot of care put into each cup. The latte art is also a nice suprise. The service is wonderful and has also been friendly and efficient. I find their baristas to be experienced and like that they don't take shortcuts. They offer sweet and savory foods and sell coffee beans. They also have the most options when it comes to sweeteners for beverages. I find the prices to be very reasonable. There are usually folks working, reading or chatting when I stop in but it never gets too crowded. This is a very laid back spot that fits in well with the neighborhood and is one of my favorite spots in Glen Park. It's located across the street from The Glen Park Bart station. Parking is plentiful in metered and unmetered spots nearby. read more

Bello Coffee and Tea has always been the place over the years in Glen Park Village of San Francisco where people come for a pit stop to enjoy a conversation or read a book and work on their laptop ( an undeclared study hall/workspace ) and even hold unofficial business and community meetings. Lots of people showing up to grab coffee or tea in the morning and through out the day to congregate. This place also is place which serves some of my favorite drinks like the iced Lavender white mocha with almond milk which is not too sweet ( don't add the whip cream) . You can get a taste of the Lavendar in almost in every sip of the delicious mocha blend. My other go to drink is the iced matcha latte with almond milk. This drink is very tasty. The Matcha comes unsweetened so you are able to taste the matcha which is refreshing. They also offer savory Beef and Cheese Piroshki's and Quiches . They also offer pastries like the cinnamon infused Blueberry crumb cake and Pumpkin Swirl Bread, and slightly tangy tasting Red Velvet Cake. The coffee is good, the ambience is welcoming, and selection of pastries is OK, but they really need to focus on service accuracy and quality. I live in the neighborhood and come here semi regularly. I've been served tepid drip coffee, had errors in orders (wrong items), soggy breakfast sandwiches (wrong preparation)...I think my orders are deficient more often than they are fully correct. I really like to support my local establishments, but higher grounds is much better in this regard. Prices aren't particularly compelling. Sorry. read more

I came here on a Saturday afternoon. There were people sitting at the tables inside but luckily, no one was in line. I went straight to the tablet to order because I didn't realize there was someone behind the counter until afterwards. I ordered an iced vanilla rose latte for myself, an iced hojicha latte for my boyfriend, and a beef & mushroom piroshki for us both. After I ordered, I went to an empty seat and waited there. As I was waiting, people came in. There was only one person working behind the counter. She took their orders and they got their drinks almost immediately. Eventually, I got up and went to check on the status of my order. She saw me waiting in line and told me my order was coming right up. I got my drinks and they were hot instead of iced. It seems like the lady was busy and rushing, so I didn't want to ask her to remake the drinks. Plus, my parking meter was about to run out of time, so I didn't want to wait any longer. To be fair, I think one of the reasons my order took a little longer was because of the piroshki. She heated it up, which was nice. My drink was very floral-y. I don't usually go for rose but it was good. My boyfriend said his hojicha just tasted like milk. However, I could personally taste the hojicha. He really enjoyed the piroshki, though. Overall, I would give the food and drinks a 4/5, service 3/5, and ambiance 5/5. read more

A simple and quaint cafe to visit while strolling the Glen Park neighborhood. Bello Coffee & Tea has plenty of space for folks who wish to study, read their newspaper for the day, or simply enjoy a cup of joe or tea before beginning their day of work or school. I wasn't in the mood for a drink, but their variety of baked goods definitely reeled me into their lovely shop. I couldn't decide whether or not I wanted a cookie or fruity pastry, so I went with the fluffy and flaky croissant that stared me in the eyes at the register, lol. Must I say: the croissant was absolutely divine and was buttery and flakey with each bite! It wasn't too expensive, as it only costed me less than $4 and it was quite filling for its size! The person behind the counter is a bit rude. She just wants to do bare minimum and get out. She made the hot drink and left it on the counter without calling out. When I realized that it was my drink left out, it was cold to drink. I just stopped by yesterday during a gloomy day to grab a coffee. I went with a cappuccino, and my first reaction was to how large it was. It seemed like it was almost a 12 oz (whereas a typical cappuccino is around 5-6 oz). Once I took a sip it made sense. The top third of the drink was all foam, so you're really drinking foamy milk with a hint of coffee for the first while. Even the actual coffee part was heavily diluted by milk, which made for a creamy drink but a quite weak coffee flavor. The ambiance inside looked nice! Super convenient location if you're near the Glen Park BART station! There are street meters in front of the store and more street parking around the corner. Just be careful of crowded streets and pedestrians. Local market is down the block if you need to grab some lunch/dinner items, it also has a seafood and deli section. My current favorites are Hojicha Latte and Lavender Rose Latte! I love that it's not too sweet and it's creamy! K's favorite is their dark roast coffee with room for milk. It's a pretty popular place with regulars. There are a few tables inside if you want to get a drink and work or read the papers. It's not a place where I would go out of my way to get their drinks, but if you're in the area or plan to go hiking in the Glen Park park area then check it out! read more
