On every website it states that they open at 7 am, but when we arrived the employees weren't even inside yet. They got there 5 minutes late, rushing inside and locking the door behind them. We continued to wait or another 30 minutes without any sign of them opening. Unfortunately they were out of bakery items (we were visiting in the afternoon on a Saturday), will have to come back to try those. For coffee, my friend and I ordered a cappuccino and a flat white. The service was fairly quick but not sure why they served us in to-go cups when we were having it in the cafe. But, the coffee was delicious. Really enjoyable in the cold Pistachio and blackberry croissant: not a big fan of sweet pastries usually, the pistachio paste in the middle was very delicious and there was a decent amount! The blackberry jam was more sweet, but it paired well. The croissant is "twice cooked" so it had a bit of a fried cake like layer on top which I don't usually like much bc of the crumbly texture and it makes it heavier. Though the interior is dark and cozy the staff were warm and welcoming. I ended up getting their Rwanda V60 pour over which had great fruit notes and caramel. This spot has a really nice space with multiple areas for seating and brewing. The counter is in the middle and it is very open inside. They have a good amount of drinks to choose from but the srasonal drinks really stood out to me. They also have teas so there something for everyone. If you aren't keen on chowing down on breakfast burrito.....then I'd recommend other items like almond financier and chocolate croissant. They have decent variety and you're bound to find one that calls out to you. For me, I went with almond financier bc the name suggests rich experience, and I was right! It tastes like Madeline pastry but with hint of sophistication and trust fund . The croissant is buttery and delicious. Plus, it's a good place to start if you're new to becoming a coffee noob. Creamy masala chai latte! I usually get it hot but decided to try cold. I replaced regular milk with oat milk. The chai latte was super flavorful and you can taste the spice but wasn't too overwhelming. The chai latte went down creamy and smooth. I enjoyed it. Place was extremely busy, lines out the door. Decor/inside was very SF vibe. The baked items were pretty good too. Since it was busy, expect a bit of a wait for the line and for your drink, especially if you have coffee. Came here to get a little work done because the photos looked really promising. Of course I bought a drink so as to support the local business while I got work done. Unfortunately the drinks I wanted to try sold out or more specifically they ran out of some key ingredients needed to be able to prepare those drinks. Even though I didn't get to try the miso caramel latte, I did enjoy the caramel latte which I had instead. I'm giving this place three stars because they don't have Wi-Fi and it's not very accessible . People who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices are regulated to the first for only and it can be pretty loud on both fours but especially the first floor. read more
