I did not expect to like what I ordered as much as I did! I didn't know people put sparkling water in coffee or matcha.. when I saw it on the menu, I had to give it a try! I got the original bird. It was fizzy and refreshing - the perfect pick me up. I LOVED the cream on top the most. If I could buy that in a jar I would. Service was super quick. I appreciate the baristas honesty while I was trying to figure out what to drink. Ambiance is cute and cozy. Had a little merch corner and some seating. It's more of a grab-and-go type of coffee place.

One of my favorite coffee shops! I go here because it's close to where I grew up and they are very efficient, clean, and consistent in their quality of drinks. I always get an iced oat milk latte and it's always amazing perfect espresso. Everyone here is also very nice.

Came in today exited to try the minty mocha after a friend recommended it. Ordered 2 but they only had enough syrup for one. No big deal, got a refund. When the drink came, I expected a candy cane on top. I asked about it, and the barista said it was in there. It was not in there. It usually sits on top. No one there was particularly nice or welcoming. It's too bad since other locations are much friendlier. Also don't say it's in there if you actually didn't put a candy cane in it.

I've heard about Andytown all on social media, so I decided to give it a try since I was in the area. I got an Iced Matcha Latte, and was told it already was sweetened so I didn't add anything to it. The matcha lacked flavor, and just tasted like sweet milk. I saw an option to add extra matcha, but I don't think it would save it. I'm not a coffee enjoyer, so it sucks that I wasn't the biggest fan of their matcha

really good coffee, always enough caffine to wake me up in the morning and they don't charge extra for oat milk! service is friendly and quick!

Coffee with great view. The beach the wind and the good coffee, with inhouse whip cream. The plover is new and nice, never had coffee soda before. People are sweet :) Quite a busy place

I ordered their matcha plover and was really disappointed. The matcha was very watered down and lacked quality. The plover was interesting and I haven't seen it at other coffee places but it did not go well with the matcha. I also had their blueberry muffin which wasn't anything special. I would come again to give their coffee a try. We around 11am on a Sunday and it was quite busy. Service was friendly and fast even with it being crowded.

I'm a matcha expert, have tried more than 50 matcha drinks, and my 2 cents: the matcha here is a low quality culinary grade. If you get the matcha plover or latte, you'll have to add extra sugar to reduce the bad taste. For the same price as the Matcha Plover ($7), you can get an amazing Ceremonial grade matcha milk tea drink with topping in SF Japantown (e.g. Maruwu Seicha), and you won't need to add any sweetener as it will have a natural umami. Or just get a coffee at Andytown instead. Andytown, at your price point, please consider upgrading your matcha to ceremonial grade or at least a better quality culinary grade. Service and ambiance are great here, and coffee is good too!

Awesome snowy plover! Homemade whipped cream topped of sparkling water, brown sugar syrup and espresso... what could go wrong as you take a sip. Highly recommend anyone who enjoy extra fancy drink... to get snowy plover! Well a latte with oat milk is also very good as it's smooth and strong! As you ponder on whether if you should take a pastry or not... I dare you to try their chocolate chip cookie. It's the BEST as it's both crispy on edge but soft in the middle with perfect structure of chocolate and cookie content. BUY THESE COOKIES with no question. Service was quick and easy! The barista was very friendly and very interactive. The ambiance was very chill and I enjoyed window shopping their merchs such as cute stickers and shirts. I got some stickers last time, they were perfect small gifts for friends.

This color matcha latte ... speaks for itself. Not very good and too sweet. Taste like matcha from a boba shop.

Matcha latte is too sweet. Taste like boba shop matcha from quicklys. The color of it was unimpressive. Maybe the coffee is better idk

    Iced mocha w/ whipped cream

First time coming to this location but the place was nice, clean, and quiet. I came here on a Saturday afternoon with a friend and there was no wait. I ordered an iced mocha with the addition of their whipped cream. The whipped cream made it a lot better since it made it creamier when mixed in! Although the coffee was strong, there was a slight diluted taste to it (not sure if that makes sense). You can also taste the chocolate. Overall, the drink tasted like coffee mixed with diluted chocolate milk. I would say this place is decent for a quick coffee fix.

To plover or not to plover, that is the question. Regardless if you plover or not, pick up a drink of choice and walk on over to Ocean Beach to see actual plovers scavenging for food along the shoreline. It's quite the date. My fiancé is a FAN of the plovers. It can be a coffee or a matcha, with pelligrino sparkling water. It is an acquired taste, but he enjoys it. So I can't tell you that you will or will not. I was not a fan. I did however enjoy their latte with brown sugar syrup. Delicious and would grab again! Especially hot, when it is cold and windy at the beach. My tip: order online. The line is almost always crazy. Their timing if notifying you that your drink is ready is pretty spot on.

    The original bird

The service was great. The coffee flavor was really good but the sparking water threw me off . I knew what I was preparing for when I ordered this drink but I'm glad I finally tried it! The cream and coffee flavor was my favorite part. If you're someone who enjoys espresso with sparkling water I say to definitely try this or the matcha plover. I would definitely want to try their other drinks next time!

Ascetically pleasing when you add "a hat" aka whipped cream to your iced drinks. Also delicious, but beware lactose friends.

My friend and I ordered the guava matcha (with cream) and strawberry matcha and both the drinks were delicious. Most places I do to I usually like only 1 drinks and not both that I get but both of them were extremely delicious. For the guava matcha, I was slightly disappointed and taken aback that they charge more for the guava cream but usually most places include it in the drink already but I def recommend getting it. It is definitely on the pricier side with my drink being close to $10 but it's sooo worth the try. The cream was so thick and creamy and their matcha is incredibly smooth. My friend got the strawberry matcha and that was so flavorful as well. Most times when I order starberry matcha the flavor is bland but hers was reallly good. It was a little hard to sip it through the straw though because of the syrup. The server there was extremely sweet as well. I didn't catch her name but I think she had an eyebrow piercing (?? Maybe??) but she was extremely helpful and made conversation. Loved the customer service. I also saw the workers who were making my drink take their time and care with it and measure everything properly with scales and everything which was great to see. And it's a cute small spot there which was so pretty. I RECOMMEND I need to go again once I get my money up tho

Unfortunately, there are almost no tables and chairs here except a bench outside and a standing (iirc) long counter on their front window. It took a while to order, and it was pretty busy but the barista was still nice and recommended drinks for my first time. I went with the Brevano - a nice creamy drink with a multilayered flavor profile thanks to the fruitier coffee used and honey as sweetener. I really liked it! I find it hard to enjoy fruitier coffee made this way, but when done right it is a pretty great sip. I will say the drink was smaller than I expected and not filled up all the way. The drink itself was made pretty quickly (with some confusion as to my name being called for a different drink, but they corrected it), making this a great place to stop-and-go if you're in the area and need a pick-me-up! There is also a BOGO, of which it's supposed to be one offer per customer but someone bragged about having done four. The line snaked from heytea, down towards Whole Foods, and back towards Onigily, and then coiled towards Wanpo. There were several security guards ensuring the retail store entrances remained accessible, keeping people from sitting on store fronts, and stopping people from cutting the line. An employee came out to offer water cups to the front of the line, and another came to help customers start circling what they wanted on the flyer. I got to the cashier at 2:40 pm, then received my order by 2:55 pm and collected my magnet. I think it was ran as smoothly as it could be but I wish the several staff we had interacted with thanked us for enduring the wait. Instead the guy I collected the magnet from just told me to take a lot of pictures and share online - zero thanks for coming out, thanks for waiting, hope you enjoy, please come back. I'm sure all the staff are really stressed out too but a little human touch with the interaction would go a long way. This line wasn't worth a $8 saving and a collectible magnet, but it was 99% Asian community coming out excited and supporting boba/tea. So many passerby ask us what the line was for, and when they learned it was just for BOGO, they would scoff and say it wasn't worth the wait. The coconut mango boom and crisp grape boom were excellent with real fruit chunks. Security guards said although the mall opens at 10 am, they will not allow people to line up at the store prior, but they may have a barricade line outside or something. They also said no chairs are allowed. I recommend getting here early as I feel if I arrived 1 hour early, I may only have had to wait 1-2 hours rather than 4 hours.
