    Latte

I really liked the latte. They also had specialty drinks which looked quite good and I wanted to come back to try. There are also baked goods; the bread was fresh and tasty. Definitely worth the long line. Only knocking off a star because of the hot chocolate, made with chocolate ganache. I actually appreciated that they are making the hot chocolate in-house and not using a premade set. However, it didn't taste as riche as I was hoping for.

Conveniently located a block away from work. A nice mid day pick me up. Everytime we've gone, there's a line, so that must say something about how good it is. I've had many different things at Andytown. On my most recent trip I had the minty mocha. Nice smooth flavor with only a little hint of mint. I think I may have wanted more. Of course I had the housemade whipped cream on top. Other occasions I've had the original bird and the matcha plover. I think I'll have to say the matcha plover is my go to. I like that it's unique and different to Andytown. This space is the roastery so it's very unique. It's not a space for reading and studying it's grab and go. Go the Great Highway location if you're looking for a study space/ real cafe vibes.

I did not expect to like what I ordered as much as I did! I didn't know people put sparkling water in coffee or matcha.. when I saw it on the menu, I had to give it a try! I got the original bird. It was fizzy and refreshing - the perfect pick me up. I LOVED the cream on top the most. If I could buy that in a jar I would. Service was super quick. I appreciate the baristas honesty while I was trying to figure out what to drink. Ambiance is cute and cozy. Had a little merch corner and some seating. It's more of a grab-and-go type of coffee place.

One of my favorite coffee shops! I go here because it's close to where I grew up and they are very efficient, clean, and consistent in their quality of drinks. I always get an iced oat milk latte and it's always amazing perfect espresso. Everyone here is also very nice.

Came in today exited to try the minty mocha after a friend recommended it. Ordered 2 but they only had enough syrup for one. No big deal, got a refund. When the drink came, I expected a candy cane on top. I asked about it, and the barista said it was in there. It was not in there. It usually sits on top. No one there was particularly nice or welcoming. It's too bad since other locations are much friendlier. Also don't say it's in there if you actually didn't put a candy cane in it.

I've heard about Andytown all on social media, so I decided to give it a try since I was in the area. I got an Iced Matcha Latte, and was told it already was sweetened so I didn't add anything to it. The matcha lacked flavor, and just tasted like sweet milk. I saw an option to add extra matcha, but I don't think it would save it. I'm not a coffee enjoyer, so it sucks that I wasn't the biggest fan of their matcha

I ordered their matcha plover and was really disappointed. The matcha was very watered down and lacked quality. The plover was interesting and I haven't seen it at other coffee places but it did not go well with the matcha. I also had their blueberry muffin which wasn't anything special. I would come again to give their coffee a try. We around 11am on a Sunday and it was quite busy. Service was friendly and fast even with it being crowded.

Coffee with great view. The beach the wind and the good coffee, with inhouse whip cream. The plover is new and nice, never had coffee soda before. People are sweet :) Quite a busy place

really good coffee, always enough caffine to wake me up in the morning and they don't charge extra for oat milk! service is friendly and quick!

I'm a matcha expert, have tried more than 50 matcha drinks, and my 2 cents: the matcha here is a low quality culinary grade. If you get the matcha plover or latte, you'll have to add extra sugar to reduce the bad taste. For the same price as the Matcha Plover ($7), you can get an amazing Ceremonial grade matcha milk tea drink with topping in SF Japantown (e.g. Maruwu Seicha), and you won't need to add any sweetener as it will have a natural umami. Or just get a coffee at Andytown instead. Andytown, at your price point, please consider upgrading your matcha to ceremonial grade or at least a better quality culinary grade. Service and ambiance are great here, and coffee is good too!

Awesome snowy plover! Homemade whipped cream topped of sparkling water, brown sugar syrup and espresso... what could go wrong as you take a sip. Highly recommend anyone who enjoy extra fancy drink... to get snowy plover! Well a latte with oat milk is also very good as it's smooth and strong! As you ponder on whether if you should take a pastry or not... I dare you to try their chocolate chip cookie. It's the BEST as it's both crispy on edge but soft in the middle with perfect structure of chocolate and cookie content. BUY THESE COOKIES with no question. Service was quick and easy! The barista was very friendly and very interactive. The ambiance was very chill and I enjoyed window shopping their merchs such as cute stickers and shirts. I got some stickers last time, they were perfect small gifts for friends.

This color matcha latte ... speaks for itself. Not very good and too sweet. Taste like matcha from a boba shop.

Matcha latte is too sweet. Taste like boba shop matcha from quicklys. The color of it was unimpressive. Maybe the coffee is better idk

    Iced mocha w/ whipped cream
    Melanie N.

First time coming to this location but the place was nice, clean, and quiet. I came here on a Saturday afternoon with a friend and there was no wait. I ordered an iced mocha with the addition of their whipped cream. The whipped cream made it a lot better since it made it creamier when mixed in! Although the coffee was strong, there was a slight diluted taste to it (not sure if that makes sense). You can also taste the chocolate. Overall, the drink tasted like coffee mixed with diluted chocolate milk. I would say this place is decent for a quick coffee fix.

Ascetically pleasing when you add "a hat" aka whipped cream to your iced drinks. Also delicious, but beware lactose friends.

The only draw back is they have a ton of loyal customers who are elderly and super loud, speaking in their native village language for extended periods. So if your head is exploding and needs a moment of tranquility, this isn't exactly for you. But if you want a vibrant energy with lots of odd mixture, the best coffees and lovely, heated pastries with at least 10 different varieties, then this place is unbeatable! Haha

Love seeing the roaster and beans being roasted. Ordered a latte and it was piping hot, unfortunately way too hot to drink, so be careful. Once cooled down, the coffee was good, medium almost dark roast. Matcha was okay, had good flavor. The baked good is from a starter bakery which is from Berkeley/Oakland area. The baked good were delicious, so wish it can be heated up. Overall, a solid option for well priced coffee that roasts in house beans, but do need to watch milk temperature so that it is not too hot to drink.

Occasionally burnt espresso but I love them too much to mind. I am a matcha snob to say the LEAST. Hands down best coffee shop matcha in the Bay Area. The classic iced matcha latte with honey is grassy and earthy and creamy and a little sweet. The iced banana pudding matcha latte had people lined up around the corner for months when it came out. It is deliciously worth the wait. Best banana cold foam in my opinion because it's made with actual bananas instead of flavoring so it's much more mellow. The double matcha they had for awhile is also awesome. Banana cold foam also goes great on an espresso latte. Now they let you add whichever cold foam you like to whatever drink which is great. Basically you can't go wrong. They are always changing up the menu for the new season and have lots of unique drinks on their menu. Not much seating inside at this location. The winchester Blvd one has more if that's what you're looking for. Their pastries are also all yummy and they sell their matcha powder for $60 for 100g which is a GREAT price for a great matcha. We chose this large city location thanks to easy parking and a convenient stop on our drive. It was a beautiful morning, which was easy to enjoy thanks to the high ceilings, big glass windows, and open main door. The first floor has a central counter to order food and drinks; the glass cabinet has a bunch of rotating pastries from a local bakery. They have restrooms and a merchandise area here too. At the front are counter seats along the front window, and also a horseshoe that looks into the roasting area, which is a great place to smell the beans. There's an upstairs loft that overlooks the cafe below, also with a test kitchen area and offices across to the front. They definitely have a larger business going on, and I can see why it's so popular. We ordered a latte, iced coffee, and various pastries to start our day. Prices were reasonable for the quality.
