Been on the hunt for a good Chinese restaurant so glad I found Angel. Ordered food via door dash on a whim last night and it was soooo good. We ordered the chicken fried rice, fried wings and garlic green beans. I love the green beans! I ended up going to their restaurant today because I wanted it again. This time I ordered fried wings, vegetable fried rice (no cabbage) and of course garlic green beans. The rice is flavorful and the fried chicken is crispy. The green beans are so garlicky I love them. I get a side of chilli oil to sprinkle on it. Everything was still hot when I arrived home to eat. read more

We were hungry and we were looking up places to eat and saw this place and said why not. The place is really nice on the inside and has booths and tables. It's kind of small it looks like it can fit about 25-50 people at a time. You just sit where you want if you are going to eat in and they will bring you a menu. They have can sodas, sweet tea and water to drink and the sodas you have to pay for each one. I ordered the Pad Thai and both my girls got the Sesame Chicken with plain fried rice and everything was sooo good. The Pad Thai reminds me of drunken noodles because it was sweet and spicy and not like Pad Thai that I have had at other places but it was still amazing. If we didn't live an hour away we would definitely go back for more. read more

Four of our ROMEO group went here yesterday for lunch. Was the first time for three of the group. Three of us ordered the Tom Yum Goong soup (cup) and 8 Chicken wings. The fourth ordered the General Two Chicken. The soup is amazing. Great taste with a bit of a tang to it, served in a nice large cup with quite a few shrimp, mushrooms and a good broth. We all liked the soup. It was the first time two of us had it and would order it again. The chicken wings were great...very crispy. When checking out I told the waitress that everything was great but I wished they had a dipping sauce for the wings. She said they do have lemon pepper and a honey mustard sauce. Wish I would've know that before ordering. Even without a sauce they were good. The fourth person devoured his General Tao Chicken and loved it. Service was good. Nice atmosphere with booths around the side and tables in the center. This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in town. Highly recommend the Tom Yum Goong soup! Absolutely delightful! I was genuinely refreshed by how good the food was. We ordered general tso's chicken with veggie fried rice, chicken coconut curry, and moo shu pork. It was all delicious and fresh but the general tso's in particular was PERFECT. The chicken was tender and the sauce was so good and not too heavy. The perfect amount of spice too. The prices were shockingly low ($7 an entree) and I was surprised how good the food was based on the low prices. The staff was very friendly and professional and the interior was very clean and bright; looked like a great place to dine-in. We got take-out but we will have to dine-in next time :-) read more

With Covid spreading so much we have been picking up our food at Angels. If you've never tried Tom Yum soup, I recommend it highly. It's one of the best I've ever had with just the right tang to it! We order a bowl of it every time we order meals. Their special fried rice is also very good as it contains pork, chicken and shrimp. The lunch menu offers smaller portions at reasonable prices. Dinner menus offer regular sized portions, which are quite large. This is our favorite Carry-out restaurant in Northeast Columbia. read more

The food is great. They are getting one star because I order from them using Bite squad. Everything I order was $2.00 to $ 4.00 more. I order from here all the time and am disappointed. Bite Squad fee is $3.99 , I tipped $10.00, My food was $48.00. Total 70.00 with tax. If I picked up in store I would have saved on food alone 8.75. This is not fair to nickle and dime. I went in happy to have found a Chinese Restaurant open at 7 p.m. on a Sunday night. I was met (at the back of the dining room - register place) by a surly teenage Chinese-American girl with a deep scowl on her face. I was smiling even though I'm on still carrying a bullet from Vietnam, and was tired by the time I got to her. I asked if she could smile for me and she replied: "It's not that I can't..........). With the "screw you old man" left unsaid! I placed my order and at that time her mother (I have to assume as they looked alike), and the older woman had a scowl on her face to match the young one's. Yea, the one that was so impressed with herself, for no apparent reason by the way! I was told it would be 15 or 20 minutes(?), so I went to the front of the restaurant to wait and enjoy the great storm that was raging outside. About 3 minutes later the young princess called me from her fortress by the register and told me my order was ready. OK, so here's a handicapped Vietnam veteran at the front of the restaurant and she stands there in the back holding my order for me to COME AND GET!!! The lazy little bitch was just too important to walk out and bring it to me. Nope, The Ole Fart has to come to her and fetch it. The Fried Rice was the most blah, tasteless and pale rice I've ever had, and I'm 81 years old and have lived and worked in Asia and specifically for a year in Hong Kong. I don't expect to find food in Columbia to match the Real Thing in Asia, but I will not tolerate rudeness from anyone no matter what the occasion! BTW, the restaurant was empty. Go Figure! I've gotten takeout from here on multiple occasions, and I'm a huge fan of their Singaporean noodles. I've tried their Peking duck, and it's only so-so. The duck skin isn't as crisp as it should be. Prices also tend to be a bit higher than other Chinese restaurants in the area, but they tend to also have a more extensive menu. Best Chinese food ever! We love the Moo Goo Gai Pan with chicken best, it's got lots of vegetables too in a light well flavored sauce, it's fantastic and you are guaranteed to love it! Their spring rolls are also delicious, we have ordered take out here several times and it has been consistently good. They also give a lot of sauce on dishes so the next day if reheating it stays very moist and tastes as good as it did the first time. This place also has brown rice as a choice which most restaurants only offer white, we also love the name Angel how cute! read more

Worst Chinese food ever! Since when is lo mein served in thick peanut sauce? And the chicken skewers were thin as paper and tasted like jerky. I was served to go even though my for year old and i were sitting at a table. When i asked for plates, i was given eaten on foam plates. Sick! Then told, "my bad" by the very rude register girl. I asked for a refund on my chicken after a few bites and was denied by the chef who argued with me that they were white meat. Horrible food and worse service! So it my first time actually dinning in. Not good start. Had a sweet tea to start and it tasted like sugar substitute was used instead of sugar. Asked for them to switch it out to a Coke. They went to the counter cracked opened a can of coke and served me that. Ordered some wontons great portion size. The tasted was a little off to much onion I think. For the entrées we had sweet and sour chicken and Carolina Fried Rice. Both of those were great! No complaints. Very expensive for what you get and the quality is mediocre. I ordered the general tsos chicken extra spicy. It was mild and soggy with a very small bowl of fried rice. I asked for more fried rice and it was 2.45 extra. A single veggie spring roll is 2.95. So for a spring roll, soggy mild general tsos chicken, and an extra spoonful of fried rice I totaled $18.26. I ordered chicken wings because I am used to Chinese chicken wings that do not have breading. These had tons of breading on them and didn't taste right. I took the breading off of one and ate it, but couldnt eat the rest. I told the owner (I assume) but she insisted that I pay for them anyway. I won't go here again. I also got the hot and sour soup. The food is adequate and delivery is not necessarily as stated. But i highly recommend that if you go pay cash. I used my debit card to pay and my number was stolen and ran through twice on three different occasions. The first time it happened they quickly reimbursed me, it was apparent they knew they had a problem. But when it happened twice again they refused to refund and said they had no idea what happen. First and Last time. I didn't want to go out so I looked for a Chinese restaurant that delivered and found one the by using grubhub.com. The GrubHub.com experience was a real pleasure (my first time) but unfortunately that's where the accolades end. The food took over 2 hours to be delivered and was cold to the touch by the time it arrived. I did attempt to microwave it back to a safe temp to eat but it was horrible. How do you screw up brown rice unless you buy it already cooked and frozen. Ordered Garlic Shrimp and vegetables and the shrimp were not cooked properly and looked scary to eat (hope I don't get sick). Chicken Satay was unlike any Satay I had eaten before - very dry piece of thigh meat that had nothing to do with peanut sauce. The only thing that was eatible were the vegetable potstickers. I did at least get a "sorry we are so late" from the delivery driver and of course I tipped him appropriately for his efforts (not an easy job). The strangest thing was that what I wanted to order was a simple Chicken and Broccoli - which is usually a staple on most Chinese menus - but they don't even offer it. read more
