I was passing by this place on my way home from Naperville. I don't live anywhere nearby but I needed my nails done so I thought I would give it a shot. I am very picky about my nails, and I needed a full set dip with tips and a pedicure.. I was lucky enough to get Sisi. She was so efficient and clearly an expert at her craft. She had a different method than I had ever seen before and my nails turned out literally perfect. I will drive from Chicago to Lisle to get my nails done. She is only there on Saturdays. I live very close to this salon and decided to try it. I walked in and they took me within 10 minutes. The lady who did my nails was very friendly and helped me choose what color I wanted, and it was a sparkly purple color. She did a pretty good job, but I realized a few imperfections after leaving. Absolutely love Angel nails. The salon is clean, the staff is friendly, they have a TV that is typically playing the game show channel. But really--Kira is the BEST. I've been going to her for almost 2 years now and I'm moving out of state so unfortunately will have to go somewhere else, but my nails never chip, they're always even and perfectly painted. I'm searching for a new nail salon... so I thought I'd try one closer to my home. This place is okay, service was pleasant and the manicure was okay...just okay. Funny thing about manicures it's later that you can pick up flaws... polish pooling around cuticles, small spots missed, rough edges that snag. And cuticle work is disappearing... some do remove/push back cuticles, some ignore. I get a simple no chip manicure but the quality of application varies from esthetician to esthetician and from salon to salon. I'm not saying I won't ever go back to this place but it gets awkward when you want to try someone else... it was clean enough but I found too many flaws with my manicure... no one flaws major it's just annoying, and I wasn't comfortable! First time here today after moving to the burbs from the city . I'm pretty picky with nail places and was extremely impressed with Angel Nails. They got me in on short notice on a Saturday morning and the salon was extremely clean, very very specific with Covid protocols . Had you check in , took temp , wash hands, and each station has a plastic shield . The massage portion of the spa pedicure was long - also something other salons tend to skimp on. I've been there 2 times and both time the woman who sits at the first table scammed me. she gave me one set of prices on the phone and raised it once I got there. she also talked me into getting the dip, which I've never had. she told me it would cost 43 to "fill" and today when I went for the fill she told me it was 55 and kept trying to confuse me with what I would be getting for that price. I settled on not getting tips and that was 48, not 43 and then asked if I wanted a "manicure" in which she said that included cleaning up my cuticles, I said of course... isn't that part of getting nails done. she said no, and it was 5.00 more. there was more with my first visit but too annoying to write it all. just out principle I will not go back due to feeling they were scamming. also, I asked to see the price menus and took a picture of it and when she saw me do that she quickly said those prices weren't correct and they were all more... so ugly. losing one customer at a time adds up! just be forthcoming and stop changing the prices..never going back read more

I've been going to Angel Nails for about 2-3 years. Even when I lived in the city, I would drive out here because it's absolutely the best. I absolutely love Jenny and Kira! They do great work. I just went this weekend and wanted to give a review of my experience during COVID-19. Angel Nails has gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of their staff and guests. Upon arrival you are asked to wash your hands (you must wear a mask). Then you get a temperature read. They check you in, ask if you are experiencing any symptoms, you sign a waver and you are seated at your pedicure or manicure chair. Hand sanitizer is available on every table. All surfaces are being sanitized frequently. There are sneeze shields on the manicure tables in addition to the Pedicure chairs. All staff wearing masks and gloves (which they did before the pandemic hit any way). I felt extremely safe during this uncertain time. 100% recommend before, during and after this pandemic ends. Unfortunately, I do not remember their names but the women who sit at tables 3 and 6 are some of the worst technicians I've ever met. They're rude, aggressive, and are not considerate to the wishes of their customers. My partner and I scheduled appointments for a manicure, cuticle care, and dip powder, and they didn't bother to do a manicure, nor did they even touch our cuticles despite our requests. My partner's index finger was bleeding by the end of it because her technician pulled off her acrylic nail instead of soaking it off. They're also supposed to massage our hands afterwards, as they do with all their other customers, but refused to with us. The best first impression!!! Quick appointment. Clean facility. Friendly service. Endless choices & great prices. I normally get my no chip nail mani for $45 - $50 so anything was than $35 to me is a steal! There's a 5% discount if you pay in cash but they don't look at you funny if you pay by card. The other reviews all mentioned precision. With each nail my nail tech whipped out that brush and sculpted my nail to perfection!!! These nails are wedding day ready! They do take walk-ins but appointments are preferred. It was 12 noon and they were telling walk-ins to come back at 4. The space is spacious and clean and doesn't have that "nail place" smell. It's masculine enough to have your dad, brother or whatever hang out and wait and not feel too dorky. There's a Dunkin Donuts next door if you feel like a snack. I live near the city and knowing that I visit up north pretty frequently, would definitely hold off on getting my nails done downtown and wait to get back to Angel Nails. It was my first time but the customers there all knew the techs and each other. One lady came in just to introduce them to her daughter. It's a real family vibe. They are incredible! This is long overdue. My wedding rehearsal was in Lisle at 6:00 on a Friday. Everything was so crazy that day so nails had been bumped to last in line. I had never been to Angel Nails before. I called, and told them my situation. I needed to be to the rehearsal by 6:00, but I couldn't get to their salon until 5:00. They were unbelievably gracious. They knew I was on deadline, but they were also very conscious of the fact that this was for my wedding the next day. They put one person on my feet, and one on my hands. They did apologize that it wouldn't be quite as good as usual because of the time. My nails were the best I've ever seen. The no chip on my hands was beyond perfect, and it really lasted. My feet looked incredible too. Hands down best mani pedi of my life. And it lasted until I took off the polish. I went back about a month ago for a regular mani-pedi. Not even no chip. My nail polish looked great for two weeks. My nails never look good for more than two days with other regular manicures. Also, my feet looked incredible. The people have been wonderful each time I've been there. I don't live in Lisle, but when I need my nails done, I will make excuses to be in the area. Just today and in past appointments every time I have an appointment they would tell me "You'll have to wait 30+ minutes." So today with my husband waiting witnessing this I told Keira the owner "If you don't respect my time, I don't respect yours too." It a shame because they don't seem to value their loyal patrons. I'm just very disgusted with how they do business over all especially with charging you so much more when you pay with a credit card. I had a TERRIBLE experience here!!! Walked in to get my nails done for my brother's wedding. I was in a rush, and one of the girls there told me it would take "45 minutes, no problem!" Wrong! AN HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES later, I'm sprinting out the door with soaking wet nails that look HIDEOUS! Aside from the fact that it took nearly double the time the girl told me (and 20 minutes longer than any set of fakes I have gotten in the past 10 years), two of the nails weren't cut to the same length as the others, and the gels looked bulbous, uneven and obviously fake. One hour in, she's still messing around with the shaping, as I'm telling her I HAVE TO GO NOW! She takes her time finishing, and then globs 3 coats of color and 2 topcoats on without letting any of the layers dry between coats. Needless to say, the polish smeared and got everywhere (and took over an hour to dry), and my nails looked heinous for the wedding. To top it off, I went in the next day to complain and get them fixed, and they charged me for a polish change. Seeing how nail places are a dime a dozen, go a block down the road to someplace that trains their staff before putting them on the floor, and has some inkling of what "customer service" means. read more

Great service and beautiful work! We were greeted immediately and felt very welcome upon arrival. The nail techs (I had Nina who was awesome) are extremely detailed and thorough. I received gel nails with no chip and she was very meticulous and did not rush which I appreciated. The price was not bad at all ($47) and I was very impressed with the overall look of my nails. It has been 5 days and they look and feel amazing. My mom and I were also happily surprised when they gifted us lotion as an early christmas gift.
