I came here for the first time last September 2021 and figured I return a couple more times before leaving a review. I found Angel on yelp after my skin appeared pretty congested and aged due to stress and from wearing N95 masks for 12 hour shifts in the covid unit during 2020. Upon meeting, Angel could tell it's been a while since I've had a facial and recommended the diamond dermabrasion for a deeper clean but I held off, wanting just a regular facial for my first time. I stripped down into a towel dress, climbed onto the massage bed, and on came the facial steamer along with one of the most relaxing facial massages ever. She then proceeded with the extraction (minimal pain) and ended with a cooling mask under an LED light. She has such a gentle yet effective touch and it was so soothing I ended up falling asleep sometime during the 75 min session. My skin was visibly clearer and glowing after the session, giving me all the reason to come back. I've tried to make it a habit to return every 1-2 months but life catches up to you sometimes. Since 3 months have passed since my last facial, I added on the diamond dermabrasion to my latest session per Angel's suggestion. She also recommended the IPL treatment during the winter to lighten some of my sun spots. Three months was actually quite a break from facials so I'll be trying to come back at least every 1.5-2 months from now on. I usually text her for appointments and she gets pretty booked so schedule at least a week in advance! read more

I had purchased a gift certificate for someone for a hydrafacial. The review is that she pretty much phoned it in which was so disappointing considering that I added a generous tip to the gift certificate which I probably shouldn't have done given what happened. They knew that the payment had already been made so of course what's the use in trying hard? No head, shoulder, face massage. A poor attempt at extraction. An overall disappointing experience. I've been going to Angel for years now, starting when she was at Youthderm. She opened her new place and I am so happy for her! She is great and you will not regret going to her. I recommend her to all my friends when they ask me about facials. Once you arrive, you are greeted by a warm smile and welcome. A body towel wrap is provided for you to change into and she has you lie on the massage bed, with your face looking up to the ceiling. She gently grabs your hair and uses a towel hairband to pull all your hair back so your bare face shows. Face steamer gently moisturizes your face and you begin to zone into a restful trance... then the rest is history. I usually fall asleep while Angel does her thing, waking up rejuvenated and refreshed by the time she is done. She removes blackheads from your pores, and applies different types of masks/peels on your face, depending on your skin. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED and you will be happy with yourself and your skin. I found Angel through Yelp and was drawn towards the great reviews and affordable prices! She has a couple rooms located in Candy's Nail Salon and you can park in the 99 cents store lot. Angel is super sweet and welcoming and assessed my skin. I didn't really have any problem areas at the time but just felt like my skin needed the extra overall care so I opted for the $55 signature facial. Everything went super well and she was super gentle with extractions which I appreciate because my skin is sensitive. I have been a loyal client of Daisy has for the past 8 years! I'm so happy Daisy and her partner Angel open their own business A&D recently. The place is inside Candy Nails and there are plenty of parking it the back. There are two private rooms for clients and also a nice reception area. I come here to get my monthly facial and Daisy takes good care of my adult acne face! Daisy is a sweet heart and I always chit chat with her like a good friend. She is very careful and gentle with her extractions and facials. My skin is quite sensitive and sometimes it's pink when I go home. However rest assure, I never had a scar and my skin is super clear and glowing within a day or two. Every time I see Daisy she herself look better and younger, so you know you are in good hands! I had an incredible facial with Angel today. It was my first time with her and she was so kind and professional. I got the signature facial which was SUCH a relaxing experience and she made the effort to check in with me to let me know what she was doing throughout the facial. I first met Angel 2 years ago when my skin was covered in acne and clogged pores. My face was in dire need of saving. I was desperate. After the first treatment, my face made drastic improvements. My pores became smaller and my acne seemed to calmed down. I have been getting acne extraction facials and diamond peels religiously with Angel every month and my skin has never been better. I have had acne in my teens and I remember how dreadful acne facials are. I absolutely hated acne extraction facials for one reason: they are extremely painful. I knew I was in good hands when Angel's facials were more relaxing than painful. Angel is extremely gentle, meticulous, and thorough with her extractions and facial treatments. Sometimes, I even fall asleep while she is working on my face. I love the acne extraction facial for unclogging my pores because I wear make-up daily so monthly maintenance is really necessary. The diamond peel is great for my hyper-pigmentation from old acne blemishes. It also helps to smooth out the skin and gives me a radiant glow afterwards. I first saw Angel a few years ago but recently just started coming back for the acne treatments. As a student who deals with a lot of stress, sensitive skin, and dehydration, I am extremely prone to break outs. Since coming to Angel, a lot of my redness, inflammation, and scarring have been reduced significantly. Not only is the treatment effective, Angel is very professional but also engaging with her clients. Conversation is super easy with her; she's genuinely interested in whatever we might talk about (which tends to be a lot of things!). However, if you prefer a more quiet downtime, it is absolutely okay too; Angel would most likely be able to tell what type of atmosphere is preferred by you! The ambiance of the treatment room is so calming and I often find myself dozing off. It's very clean too! I highly recommend trying out one session if you are considering it! The prices are very affordable too! I mainly reside in San Diego now but Angel remains the only one I trust with any treatment so I do make the trip back home whenever I can to meet an appointment :-) read more
