Good job on shellac in natural nails BUT it only lasted three days, then the polish came off like press on nails. Press on nails would have been a lot less expensive. Horrible value @ $48!! Very frustrated with Hillsboro & Beaverton nail salons. read more

I had written an update several month's ago. But because of some Yelp / name confusion from another business, it didn't post. I have been a customer of Tina's for over 6 year's. She works very hard to keep up with the most current nail colors and nail styles. Tina will always do exactly what you want done. I'm very picky about the length, color and style. I'm very thankful for her consistency in her abilities. Because of my schedule, sometime's my nails will have to wait 3 or 4 week's to get a fill. Although they're grown out, they always still look amazing. That says a lot about products and skill. Although she welcomes walk- ins, it's probably a good idea to call ahead or just make an appointment. I mention this because of a prior review. Tina and her husband have worked very hard to establish this great business. If they get a little busy with walk ins, there are some nice food carts right around the corner. Good service and good looking nails are definitely worth a few minutes to wait. read more

First time here was pretty good. Second time, well, see pic... cat's eye looks NOTHING like sample. First excuse: Tina gave was that the guy applying it (who did good with acrylic) "he no know what he doing". So she took over & tried to fix. To no avail.... Second excuse: "it change" . When what? It never changed. Third excuse: "you mix color". BullSh... Bottom line, just say you messed up & fix it! $50 for what? So you can bad mouth me for not tipping? read more

I stopped by as a first timer there. Within 10 mins an older guy started prepping my nails for my gel mani. However this is where the experience goes downhill. The color I chose was a grey metallic that changes colors to the brightness and when it shines it shines different colors. So the guy put the base coat and then for the main coat he put hot pink??? I was like umm that's not the color I chose clearly. He clearly got upset and said what color you choose then? I told him the grey metallic color changing one. He called his wife over and she said that would be $35 instead of $25 the original price for gel mani. Even though at first she said any of those colors would work. I said it's fine and got it done and she quickly rushed my nails she didn't use any different base coat or tip coat for that "special color". The NEXT day my nails started chipping. I called and asked if they can redo my nails and the lady on the phone got mad mad and said she can't do anything about it now. DO NOT GO THERE. Horrible service and horrible customer service. If you're planning on going, trust me, check out another place. They only want your money here they don't care about how your nails look. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would! This place doesn't value their customers and leave your nails crusty and crooked. Went in to get a full set and came home with nail polish and acrylic on my fingertips, bumps on most of my nails, edges had cracks and 2 nails were crooked. I mentioned it to the nail lady and she said it was just me went in to get a refund after not being able to fix it myself and the receptionist was very disrespectful and said that I didn't know how to wash my hands and that they looked fine to her. There is no posted signage regarding refunds and she refused to give me my money back. Definitely don't recommend and I can see why the store is usually empty. I came in to Angel nails to get Eyelash extensions, they turned out awful they're hard she didn't even go into my eyelashes she glued him to the top of my eyelid I have glue all over my eyelid and I can't get my eyes wet after she done my eyelashes she said that I was not allowed to get it wet or they would fall off she does not know how to put eyelash extensions on you don't glue them to your eyelid you glue them to your eyelashes and she won't refund my money and she charged me $120 this place is a rip off stay away I told her I wanted to see her license and she ripped the clock off-the-wall it would let me take picture of it because she doesn't have a certificate to do eyelashes. read more

If I could give a negative star I would I went to this salon about two weeks ago and had a horrible experience the lady in the first chair in front of the door rushed my nails and left them misshaped, and left indents in them the polished job was horrible and she didn't even fix the nail she touched when it wasn't dry I paid $25 there and when asked for them to be fixed she said it would be extra so I left and had my nails fix somewhere else but she did such a horrible job putting my tip on they popped off before my two weeks were up, normally my nails last longer than a month without any of them coming off I will never go to this place again read more

I have no issues with my nails at all. They are beautiful and she did a great job. However, she completely overcharged me and refused to make it right after I had confronted her about it. The prices are listed on the board inside the salon, yet she overcharged me while completely disregarding the price I was pointing out that was obviously correct. Angel salon does a terrible job of informing you of how much your nails should be, especially when it comes to getting gel acrylics. I hope that the salon can really learn some better customer service skills because the way I was treated was 100% not okay. If I were you, I'd choose somewhere else for your nails, unless you want to get overcharged. read more

NEVER coming here again. I scheduled an appointment for my roommate and I and Tina was very sweet at first but she got in so many customers that she was bouncing back and forth between my roommate and I and also the extra customers she was getting. They would ask if she had time and she would say yes and then bounced us to her husband. We waited here, for 2 DAMN hours until we said something and she rushed and painted our nails very sloppily. I was unhappy and so was my roommate and when we were leaving she was trying to charge us a lot more so we complained to her and told her we were unhappy and that we were not paying the higher price and she told us never to come back again because "they tried their best" when clearly she was trying to hurry to get to all of customers. Now I understand it's busy sometimes but she told every single customer she had time when she definitely should have tried harder and should've worked on keeping her customers happy with a good nail job. Tina was arguing and told us to never come back, so definitely will never come back here. Please save your time and money. read more

Checked in and saw the 10% off with first check in. When I presented it to the staff she said that it is from the old owner and they won't honor it. We talked further and she has owned it for a year. She then said if I want the special of sea salt that was my deal (she would remove the sea salt treatment and let me use the 10%) The man shows up to start my pedi and has super long nails digging into my toes. I asked politely twice for him to please not dig in. I even showed him as I could tell there was a language barrier. I went to turn on the massage chair and it didn't work. I'm giggling to myself now because I'm debating leaving at this point. We carry on and he begins the sugar scrub on my legs. Then adding lotion on top of it. I politely asked the lady if he was going to wash the sugar scrub off before continuing. She explained he already did and I showed her that it was not washed off. She argued with me until he got up and got a hot towel to wash it off. Is this really happening?! There is nothing relaxing about this experience and it was freezing cold. The lady came over and finished my toes and said she would give me the 10% off. I would not recommend this place unless you enjoy being tortured lol read more

I took my granddaughter here for pedicures. My pedicure was not the best I have had. There is still polish left on my toes. My heels are so dry. Worse of all, Tina, the owner ask my 13 year granddaughter if she wanted her eyebrows waxed. My granddaughter told Tina, several times that she did not want them too thin. After Tina, kept on, my granddaughter told her no. Tina persisted on waxing her eyebrows. My granddaughter has been traumatized by this. I called this morning to talk to Tina and asked if I could get a partial refund. Tina not only told me no, but kept arguing with me. VERY DISSPOINTED, WILL NOT BE BACK! read more

Five minutes later a cigarette-smelling man with long, dirty finger nails comes walking in and she tells me her husband is going to finish my leg massage. Ummm, okay. He sits down without washing his hands and starts scratching my legs. No thanks! Couldn't get out of there quick enough. Took a look when I left and the right big toe nail is crooked. I have come here about 4-5 times, they are overpriced and continuously do a poor job. Twice I have had to have my nails repaired or removed as the tech does a sloppy job and get the acrylic on my finger our cuticle. They are never shaped properly, and they charge a ridiculous amount for gel polish. They never turn down a client and will make you wait for hours even when you had an appointment, or will get up in the middle of your service to work on someone else.
