My appointment time was 11:15 I came in at 11:20 because I was stuck at a red light. The front desk girl informed me because I was 5 mins late she cancelled my appointment. And that if I waited 25 mins or reschedule we could do an 11:45 soonest. I've had never had an issues with other centers they follow their 9 min grace period and I kindly asked her and she just said that they don't do that at this center because it's owned by a different person ? I will not be returning I will go to the one in Richmond or Missouri because that is insane and especially when I tried different wax centers the Sugarland just happens to be the one closest to me.

Since COVID, they've upped their sanitation and masks policies, which makes me happy because I was already super impressed with the sanitation and cleanliness. Sherrell is the best person I've had doing my waxes EVER! She's gentle (if you can be gentle when giving a wax), yet quick. She's knowledgeable about the products provided and she always has me laughing during my wax (which helps because it hurts, ya know?!) I prefer Waxing the City over other establishments. The wax they use is better and less harsh on my skin. I always get in and out in a reasonable time, and the customer service from the moment I walk in, to the minute I walk out, is always impeccable. I am from a place where service providers often do run late and the payer is expected to still have a pleasant attitude which I did not experience. Definitely would not recommend the vibe is definitely not there, and I will not be back for sure.
