I've been to Amgelinas a few times to grab a few slices. The service has always been very friendly and quick. I also like that the slices taste fresh every time. The flavor is pretty average, but the slices are cheap and large. I think it is a great value to get 2 big slices and a soda for only $8. One complaint I have about the place is that there are two entrances, but neither are handicap accessible. I wish the entrance with a single step had a ramp instead because I often come with my baby in a stroller and struggle to get in/out the door. read more

This is the best pizza around Davis/Porter. I've tried them all and their plain cheese pizza just tastes better then everywhere else nearby. Their crusts are delicious, not too thick, not too thin and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The hot subs all range from standard to great. They're friendly and reasonably priced. The wrap is quite big which is nice but there wasn't enough lettuce. The grilled chicken was dry as well. There was nothing spectacular. For a wrap and Gatorade, I paid $12. On the expensive side. I ordered a pizza through Grub Hub which was delivered to my hotel in Medford. I'm assuming the pizza is suppose to be pretty good, but I can't verify that assumption. What I can verify is that the meat lovers pizza I ordered was stone cold. I was informed by the delivery douche that it was delivered to the front desk at my hotel. I immediately went down to get it. I was very skeptical because when I picked up the pizza box, with my hand underneath the box, I felt NO WARMTH at all. My skepticism was confirmed when I walked back to my room and opened up my pizza for my first slice. To the touch of the crust, it felt cold, when I bit into the middle of the slice, it was also cold. This sucks. And what's worse is, with Grub Hub you tip the driver prior to receiving your food. I wish I could've rescinded my tip. I will never buy pizza from Angelina's again. read more

I had usually received so-so food from Angelina's, but one interaction changed it all. While Angelina's makes pizza that has very good dough, there's not nearly enough sauce. Like, I'm talking one or two traces in a whole medium pie. Regardless, I called and asked for "extra sauce," assuming that they would give me the same amount of cheese with more sauce like most other restaurants have done when I've asked for extra sauce. I was wrong. The pizza I received had few traces of cheese on the whole thing - it was literally pools of sauce with zero care as to the balance or anything. It appeared that the pizza maker just did not put any cheese on, which is not what I had asked for at all. Not only was the quality of the food awful, but it seemed like it had been made with zero regard for quality or customer satisfaction - almost like whoever made it did not care. The delivery guys are nice enough, but the one that I've gotten answering the phone could definitely use a lesson or two in professionalism. Now obviously he's not the only one working there, but still, a touch-up in that department wouldn't hurt. Either way, this single interaction soured my perception of Angelina's and, for better or for worse, I don't think I'll be going back there anytime soon. read more

There's little here to *not* like, you guys! The location is convenient (near Teele and Davis), the people there are quick with a joke. This is definitely a place where you can shoot the breeze with the people making your sub instead of idly looking at your phone while you wait for your food. Ordered the same exact order twice in the last month and my pepperoni pizza, extra crispy chicken wings and Ceaser wrap were all great! I'd have to say they are the best in Somerville again! Fast delivery and pay attention to the little extras you ask for, definitely will be my go too from now on! Oh and they also offer kalamata olives on the pizza and they are very generous with them 1 other place in Somerville offers them as well but they skimp big time and they're food is not nearly as good and more expensive. Hi i live across from angelinas in lynn.the food is amazing.i have had disapointment with the person that takes the order,Rude,always in a hurry and attitude.the other issue is that i never have cash on me.when i call they tell me with an attitude that they can't give me a total .well i think they can use a calculator. Gross. I just had one of the worst chicken parm subs I've ever had. The chicken was really hard / over cooked, dry, and flavorless. The sauce was like tomato paste and also flavorless. The best part of my meal was throwing it in the trash. Disgusting! Avoid this place at all cost. Someone named Steve from Angelina's contacted me and apologized for the bad food and promised to make improvements and encouraged me to come back.
