Looking at my previous receipt from 2020 it turned out Tim was the same technician that helped me back in 2020. However, Tom brought it back (more than just a couple of days) and said, "it is probably the capacitor or the magnetron - which is too expensive to fix, and you might as well purchase a new one". Well, we purchased another one and put that one in a different room to use and just used this other for the fan, clock and light. Forward, I learned how to diagnose these things and found out right away that he stole our working GE magnetron (which has been replace by a Samsung one) with a NON-working LG one. He argued and basically texted me a flip off finger and told me in words to "F- off!". I would not recommend him for anything. He may have done right with another man or a head of household, but if you are single and or elderly - don't even bother with this guy. The positive comments on him are probably his relatives. Do you see he doesn't supply a license number on the cards/stickers he leaves you with? He is a scammer! He installed an LG and that part number shows non-compatible with any other brand besides LG! With a mystery on my hands and rage in my heart, I had multiple interactions with SQ. When I found that Coast Appliance Services, with their incredible reviews, were an alternate option for Speed Queen servicing, I jumped at the chance to work with these folks. My initial phone call was quick, easy, and friendly. I received the confirmation call I expected the day before my appointment and was thrilled that they had noted and were trying to accommodate my work schedule. The day of, I received a 20-30 minutes to arrival text and found Edgar in my driveway exactly within that window. Edgar was super professional, efficient, and effective, and the work area was so clean that even my pack of pit bulls, who needed to do a full investigation of Edgar's work after he left, couldn't find anything weird to snack on or track around the house. Amazing! I really appreciated that in a stressful situation, Edgar and this team were so on the ball and keen to explain what they found, what would happen, and that I could call them directly for any future issues. An added bonus? Our dryer dries again! Life is way easier when your dryer just, you know, dries. For those annoying times when it doesn't, I recommend contacting these folks immediately. I tried everything to re-balance the machine with no luck. I called Best Price Appliance to have a technician come out next day, as I was dreading a trip to the laundromat. Shortly before the technician was scheduled to come out, I re-ran an empty load so that the technician could see what was going on. That is when I noticed it was actually an "OE" error code for a drainage issue (not "UE"). The technician Elisei contacted me 45 minutes prior to the appt to let me know he was on his way. He diagnosed the issue which was a clogged filter (and an easy fix). The technician was courteous and knowledgeable. He showed me some tips/tricks for maintaining the washing machine and even un-crunched my dryer vent hose. I would recommend this company to others and would use them again in the future.
