First of all, thank you for hiring your own drivers to deliver. It's nice to know they are getting paid for their time plus tips. We live across the street, paid for the pizza upfront at 9:00pm. Asked for it to be delivered. The driver showed up at almost 10 PM with a cold pizza and a crushed pizza box. Living in this area there are so many great choices so it's hard to say it was "the best" BUT I just came in today for a quick slice and honestly the food was incredible. I recently found out that I am celiac and just ordered a pepperoni and pineapple gluten free pizza from this place, and WOW! This did not disappoint. Dough was crunchy and delicious, a ton of cheese and perfect mix of sweet and spicy with the pep and pineapple. I got the lunch specials turkey wrap and had to get a plain slice too to be over 10$. To use a credit card has to be over 10$ and they charge an extra 3.5% tax for using a credit card. The lunch special turkey wrap was horrible. Like one slice of turkey maybe two, mayo tomato and lots of lettuce. I expected a little more turkey. The fries were really good but the plain slice tasted like it was an old slice they stuck in a microwave. Which i know they didn't use a microwave just tasted like that. The staff was super friendly and you get 4 free garlic knots upon checking in on yelp. They were really good but smaller then I expected. When looking at their specialty slices like BBQ chicken and chicken bacon ranch; those slices were way smaller then a normal slice but cost only 3.25 per slice so I don't know. We used Angelo's to cater our kids bday party at the YMCA and we were extremely happy with them. The pizza was a good Jersey pie-kids and adults enjoyed it. Sauce was good and perfect amount of cheese(saw a pic on here from a couple years back and confirm it does not look like that). We ordered the 3 foot sub-the bread was FANTASTIC. For lunch today my coworker and I decided to try Angelos. We got Billy's Favorite Pan Pie. It was mediocre, wasn't bad and it wasn't great. Delivery was very quick and easy. Driver called us when he was about a minute away, our store is a little hard to find. The pizza was definitely hot and fresh but the ingredients were lacking. For a 20 dollar pizza, it just doesn't cut it. I know it was a Pan pizza but it was really too doughy. There was definitely a fair amount of cheese but the chicken was sparse. It was tomatoes, cheese, chicken cutlet and broccoli. I would try something else from them before I say I'd never eat there again. I mean I ate two slices and was happily full, I just wouldn't pay that price again for that specific pizza. read more

BEST broccoli rabe I've EVER had!!!! LOVE the food especially the gluten free pizzas, but the first time I went to pick up in person instead of delivery will be the last time I order from here, at least during COVID. Of the SEVEN staff members I can see (included both front end and kitchen) only ONE of them was wearing their mask properly. The rest ranged from having it pulled down to reveal their nose to just completely having their mouths exposed. When I mentioned my discomfort about this fact to the person at the front they did not respond and did absolutely nothing. Tried this place for the first time today. It's Superbowl Sunday so perhaps that was my mistake ordering from a new place on one of the busiest pizzeria days of the year. We got a pizza, wings and garlic knots. Out of 12 wings there were at least 3 that had no meat on them. It looked like someone ate them and the bones were tossed back into the fryer. And what is with the "garlic" knots?! Ours were just pieces of bread, bread that they forgot to season with any butter and garlic. Tasteless! Pizza was bland. The kids wouldn't eat it. Ok so first I would like to start by saying my review is based solely on their pizzas. I am not to fond of their other food (just my opinion) but their gourmet pan pizzas are spot on! I have tried 4 of their pan pizzas and I have enjoyed every one so far. Today I got the Philly cheese steak pizza. Which is basically a Philly cheese steak rolled out flat. Onions, peppers cheese steak, oh my... I like to slather ketchup on top before I eat it!! Better then an orgasm... I today I asked for my pizza crunchy and they delivered. A lot of people complained about the crunch on the outside and doughy on the inside but that's how I like it and that's the best part in my opinion. That's the whole point of a pan pie. The garlic knots I can take them or leave them. Just basic garlic knots. The sauce they give you with the knots is good. Was at DMV today an decided to grab a bite after waiting in line as we all know. The place was nice and clean, very busy in the afternoon. Super friendly and helpful. They have any type of premade slices you can think of. If you dont see it, they will make it. Great presentation in the case. I was undecided and told the guy 4 choices and he could pick. Excellent choice and very good. The crust is different from any other pie I had and it's in a good way. I would suggest this place if interested. Ordered a bunch of food for the super bowl. 8 pizzas, a full tray of buffalo wings, and garlic knots. FYI: garlic knots are just code for balls of hard bread. It was def not good. Also I'm not sure they know how to make buffalo wings. The tray of wings we got were not edible. It was all dry and over cooked. There was not much sauce on them but the main problem was it was so dry that it tasted awful. Maybe they do better in small quantities but if you want to order a full tray, you probably shouldn't. Also, a full tray is like half a tray. The trays they use are so flat that it's like half a normal size tray! 65 bucks is def not worth it. Especially how dry it was. It just went in the garbage. Ugh - so Yelp has done me wrong again. I ordered delivery. Chicken parm with linguine, large Grandma's pizza with meatball and onions. The delivery was on time and delivery guy very nice but we are so disappointed with the food. This was $50 worth of food in the garbage! First of, details are important. I received spaghetti instead of linguine. The chicken parm was basically a bunch of chicken fingers put in the oven with sauce and cheese on top. Chicken was chewy and not fresh. Idk how you get this wrong. Pizza tasted like cardboard. I tasted mostly salt as the seasoning. The dough was crunchy on the outside soggy inside. Like W-T-F. Tasteless. The crust is crisp but chewey and sauce is pleasantly tasty. The fried calamari is a substantial portion and super crispy. Excellent. The salad platter with grilled shrimp was good, with the shrimp perfectly cooked and a bit of cajun spice for some heat.
