Save your money and go elsewhere. Everything is old taste like it as well, there slices aren't fresh they put out slices that didn't sell the day before. I went in there yesterday to try a slice and wasnt that good so I was going to give it another try but when I walked in and saw the exact slices that was there yesterday I walked right out. It's pizza not steak DONT BE CHEAP make fresh slices. Will never go back read more

I thought a chicken cutlet was supposed to be white inside, until I ordered and mine was yellow and gray. What a shame, while they also don't tell you about the $2+ delivery charge when you're not even 1.5 miles away. Been ordering for years, the food is only getting worse. read more

I have been ordering from Wize Guys for the longest time. They are always friendly and willing to help when i call for delivery. Gluten Free pizza is enough to feed 2 persons, despite being a personal pie. coworkers confirmed that also regular pies are delish. Fries are crispy and well seasoned, their Spinach and Egg Soup is so good you wanna cry. Highly recommended spot read more

We ordered Wize Guys when we had people over for a football game and they did not disappoint! They delivered within a half hour. Their pizza is the way we like it. More thin crust, well done and perfection. We also ordered the wings naked with multiple sauces. I would def recommend! read more

Stopped here after doing groceries at stop and shop and there was a guy out front smoking a cigarette. (Short Hispanic man) Only reason I noticed him was because I hate cigarettes and the door was open so I wondered why he would be standing right by the entrance where the smell would go right inside of the restaurant. After walking in the guy immediately tosses his cigarette puts his phone away, followed me inside and asked what I would like.......... lol. I told him and expected him to go wash his hands but nope. To my surprise he grabbed my slice with his dirty hands and was about to toss it in the oven until I told him he did not wash his hands. Surely he was confused. I repeated my self and told him that I saw him smoking a cigarette and he did not wash his hands and I did not want that pizza. It was very disgusting. Call me annoying but I could literally see the dirt on his nails lol. The other tall gentlemen who was right behind prepping pizza stopped what he was doing to help me and gave me a different slice while the guy walked off to "wash his hands" . But of course the original slice was NOT tossed. Yes I ate the pizza lol but unfortunately I will not be going back. Aside from that man's bad habits, the pizza was ok. Too thin for my liking but a lot of people like thin pizza. I gave a star for the pizza and a star for the nice gentleman who took over my order after he saw what the other man had done. Feel bad leaving this review because I'm sure they are nice people but that man needs to do better. After using the bathroom is not the only time you need to wash your hands. read more

I hate to write bad reviews especially for small businesses but I believe this one is necessary since we had to throw away the food and it was completed waste of money that we worked hard for. So i ordered chicken noodle soup and a big pizza( half veggies, half chicken barbecue). When i got the soup it was spilled everywhere so i called them again and they were so nice about it and they send me a new one immediately which made me want to give them a second star instead of one! The veggies pizza was ok but the chicken on both the pizza and the soup was disgusting! It smelled and tastes bad. I am not sure how old this chicken was. What made me angry that i ordered the soup for my sick husband! He could not eat anything and he only wanted a soup but unfortunately we had to throw it away. Such a waste of money and my husband ended up not eating anything. read more

Wednesday they have a Large Pizza deal for $7.99 ...$8.55 including tax. Their food is good. The staff is friendly. They'll give you paper plates if you ask Saves me on doing dishes so I'm happy. read more

I ordered a large pie on Wednesday night; it was disgusting. Barley any cheese, it was hard as a rock. Last time I order from there. Yes it was cheap, at about 8$ but this was the worst pizza I've ever had. A Celeste pizza would have been better then this pizza. I would not recommend this pizza to anyone. Steer Clear of this place. read more

We have a bunch of ignorant employees who works at Wise guys Pizza in Clifton when you ask him for their name they get scared and they don't want to hang up the phone on you they don't want to give you their names because they're afraid of being fired and they make a ton of excuses up they said drivers out with not the correct amount of money for change the food comes out cold and not cooked fully cooked all the time I would not cut away from this place again you know all and responsible kids how do you run a business like this read more

They implemented a huge price increase recently. For just a pepperoni pie to be delivered it was over $18. They increased both the price of the pie, the topping and have a delivery charge. I supported them almost every week during lockdown. I will never order again. read more

We ordered recently during COVID and they delivered rather quickly. I ordered through grub hub and they came faster than expected. The chicken florentine and the garlic knots were amaIng. Even ny picky teen daughter asked "where did you get this from? It was so good!" We will definately be ordering from here again. The delivery guy was very kind and friendly as well. read more

Gross.. ordered a specialty slice $3.99 bruschetta and he game me a white ricotta slice with onions, a sprinkle of mozzarella (probably to try and make it look better) a sliver of tomato and balsamic vinegar.. I can't believe I just paid for that!! What a waste of money!!! Best part is I just spoke with the restaurant and he confirmed that is exactly how they make there bruschetta pizza. so if that's what you're interested in take a look at my picture and that's what you're going to get.. read more

If you want a hot, freshly made slice at 11:30am,this is NOT the place for you. Obviously too lazy to get there early enough to make fresh pizza each day, they cook all their showcase pies the night before, throw them in the fridge, (I hope), and sell them the next morning. When you walk into a pizzeria 15 minutes after opening, and all the cheese on every pie in congealed, it's a tell tale sign you are about to get day-old pie. Seriously Wize Guys put a little effort into your morning and sell a fresh slice. I would have given it 1 star, but the woman at the register was very pleasant, so she gets the second star. This happened 3x by the way so ZERO chance it was an anomaly. I won't be back. read more

Trigger warning: flew too close to the sun. Since the days of my youth I've lived by two statements that have been found to be largely true and, at times, gospel: never trust a fart; and pizza is pizza. The latter statement implying that all pizza is good pizza. For most of my 26 years on earth, this statement has been proven to be true. I've gifted my gustatory cells with quality pies ranging from some of NYC's finest to the California Pizza Kitchen. Which brings us to my journey into Wize Guys on a cool night in early March. I was hungry after a long day of work and thought to myself, "Pizza is pizza," as I pulled into the shopping center. I ventured into the quaint 'straunt and ordered three pepperoni slices, and in mere minutes the slices of greasy pepperoni pizza were in a box and on its way to my home just down the road. Heart racing with anticipation, I rushed into my domicile and thrust my jacket and other bag off of my body as I prepared for what seemed destined to be a glorious first time with Wize Guys. I opened the box and lifted the triangular slab of dough, sauce and cheese towards my mouth ever so slowly. And then the bite. Oh, how could one forget that first bite. In an instant my eyes welled up and I was driven to what can best be described as a depressive weeping session. If "pizza is pizza" was gospel before, that first bite was logic and reason swooping in to crash down the walls of my pizza truths. The pie tastes as if an ambitious alcoholic was eating a Tombstone pizza and got the grand idea to make his or her own pizza out of wet cardboard and a glue stick. It wasn't delivery. It wasn't DiGiorno. It was the sad reality of a pizza lover blindly trusting an age old statement, flying too close to the pizza sun and being crushed back down to earth. I'd eat here again if the sun was set to explode in 10 minutes. That's probably it. read more

The cheese slice and the sicilian cheese slice are legit. I was a bit skeptical at first. This is the 3rd pizzeria to occupy this address, and the previous 2 didn't really serve the thin crust pizza that's common for Bergen County. The layout was similar to when it used to be Joji's, but the pizza is exponentially better. I can't even quantify how much better this pizza is. The crunch of the slice, the chewiness of the cheese and the mildness of the sauce is nearly a perfect experience. Prices are decent too. A cheese slice and a small fountain soda (Pepsi) will run you $3.50, add a sicilian slice and you're over $6. There's plenty of seating and lots of friendly service and parking is a breeze. Stopped by here with my wife for lunch before going food shopping at Stop N Shop next door. Their pizza is the worst we have tried in this area. Pizza is reheated with little sause and cheese. The crust is dry and falls apart like crackers. The pizza has little to no flavor. If you want good pizza, try Brooklyn Coal Fired Pizza in Hackensack. read more

The pizza was decent for the area. I got a whit slice and a buffalo chicken slice. The dough of the pizza was not cooked enough for me and really did not have much flavor. I did enjoy the buffalo chicken pizza that had ranch on top of it. The white pizza was ok and little too greasy for me. I would probably go back to try some of the other pizza they offer like the salad and vegetable slice that both looked good. But overall not eh best slice around. Also, for some reason they don't have regular bottled water, only flavored which I found strange. read more

This place has decent thin crust pizza. Scicilian is decent as well. Used to come here a lot when I was younger. I don't know if it's just me but the pizza seemed to be better a few years back. I used to work near here so I would frequent it on my break. Nice place for a quick slice. Items other than pizza are a bit more sketchy. Have a friend who lives in the area who would order from here quite a bit. Whenever she got non pizza items they would not look to appetizing. So I have been kind of scared off by non pizza menu items. I've never seen anybody go full Willy Loman over an entree in my entire life. Good for pizza but that's about it. read more

Typical pizza joint nothing special. The girl at the counter was friendly but there was a creepy looking guy with big eyebrows just chilling by the front window. Not sure if he was the delivery guy or owner but really wasn't helping the image of the place. Had a regular slice and Cajun chicken slice. The pizza was really greasy. Crust thin and crispy like most jersey pizza I've eaten. Will not make me forget nyc pizza. read more

Randomly stopped by since family was hungry. 7.99 pizza Wednesday special and do not regret coming here. Pizza and garlic knots were crispy outside and soft inside. Cheese was good quality, sauce was a tad less flavorful than I'm used to but definitely not a deal breaker. Would come back even if no Wednesday special. Staff were awesome and attentive which was a surprise given the out of the corner feel. Inside was spacious to sit and flat screen televisions. If it was more upscale atmosphere, I'd give it five stars, definitely would still come back though! read more

Just ordered from here and I made a mistake with the chicken wings. I called the girl and she was super nice and told me she would send over another order of the correct wings. Ordered a Medium pie. Toppings were like $2.00 extra each. What I got in toppings was a joke. Sausage was not what I thought was going to be, like a nice link taken out of the casing, and cooked on the pie. Black olives were these very thin slices of canned gummy California canned olives (like maybe 5 slices) and peperoni was like another 5 slices. The dough was not too convincing either. Thank God I had a can of sliced button mushrooms which I paid $.99 for at Shoprite. You want a real homemade pie, order it from Bazzarelli in Moonachie. read more

Typical pizza joint ambiance. One flat panels to watch games on but other than that nothing spectacular. Pizza bland and flat no flavor and hardly any sauce while also lacking cheese. I am very disappointed because I had a taste for pizza and they had the sign that said plain large for $7.99 Wednesday and they pulled me in lol that pie was not worth $2.00. I would have been really pissed had I payed full price for that pie. If you are looking for flavorful real good pizza do not waste your time here. read more

Stopped in for lunch and ordered a plain slice, a chicken slice, and garlic knots. Everything was delicious. Pizza crust was not thick and cooked just right. The sauce was delicious. I am happy I found this place and will definitely be coming back and ordering from here. The people working there were also very nice. Pleasant experience. read more

We got a plain pizza that was okay. The salmon filet was big on top of lots of mashed potatoes. The bronzino filet had nice seasoning. But the food took a while to be prepared. After I got my Bronzino filet, they took another 15 minutes to bring my two side dishes. The vegetable sides weren't my type of dish, especially the eggplant. The servers and crew were nice. They packed our leftover. There was 3% fee for using credit card, so we paid cash.

Our server only had to attend our table, yet he only came by three times, once to ask us about water, then to take our order, and once after our appetizers were served. Half of the time he invisible and rest of the time he was just hanging out by the register area stairs, chit chatting with other staff members. We refilled our own water and had to grab other stuff members to get extra plates and utensils. I was super annoyed to pay premium price only to experience a diner like service. I didn't even bother to order the Zeppole from the dessert menu. I paid the check and we walked out as quickly as we could.

A large patio in the late spring sun was just what I needed. I walked in and said I was a party of one and I wanted to eat outside. Done. Soon, a very chatty and kind waiter was taking good care of me and offering a glass bottle of still water.* As I am wont to do, I ate in waves: appetizer and main course (and, if I have the room/interest, dessert). A drink and a solid. A began my meal with the burrata. Rarely can you go wrong with a ball of cheese but this was a silky, milky sphere of mozzarella, served with oranges, toasted walnuts & topped with truffle honey. Truffle honey. I tried to pair every bite with cheese, citrus, nut, and honey and each time I was successful, my mouth sang. To accompany my chews, my waiter suggested Rancoli Vermentino, a dry white with a crisp finish and enough adjacency to the fruit components of the burrata to make it make sense. Lovely. I forgot that I was in Jersey. For my main, I had a GF version of the pennoni alla genovese napoletana - slow-cooked caramelized onions & diced beef pasta. Simple but incredibly flavorful (which, I've learned, is what Italian food is all about). The plate was large and I could smell it before I saw it (a very good thing). To help bring the dish to life, my waiter suggested a warm red blend (earthy, cherry/berry forward). He was correct on the type of wine but I was a bit disappointed in the price point. Believe me, I know the ins and outs of the restaurant biz, but this glass should have been (at least) a couple of dollars cheaper (knowing what I could get a bottle for). This slight faux pas lessened my rating to a 4. Not the end of the world. Just know what you're paying for before committing. I was pleasantly full so I passed on dessert/coffee. Th NJ sales tax was less than I was used to but the dreaded credit card charge fee made an appearance. I probably spent more money on dinner than I would at present but I don't regret the experience. "Wize guys" indeed. This place has horrible customer service and horrible pizza. This was my second time ordering pizza here. The first time was a mediocre pizza, though they got part of the order wrong. The second time was a complete nightmare. Our pizza arrived one hour later. It was cold. It was not what we ordered. We called the owner (Russ, who refused to give out his last name) and asked for our money back or a new pizza because the pizza was not hot. The "owner" refused to listen to our complaint. He insisted that the pizza was not cold. How would he know unless he can fly here and touch it? After we asked for our money back he hung up. We called back and tried again to reason with him. He again refused to let us talk. He also used a condescending and misogynistic tone; it is unacceptable to speak to women (or men) like that in today's day and age. He ranted and raved about what an amazing owner he is, what an amazing business he has, how amazing his pizza is, it was surreal. And we could not get one word in! When we tried to tell him the problem, he cut us off and said he would report us to the police for harassment. Then he hung up again. The whole experience was unbelievable in that the business was the one threatening to report us, the customer, for complaining. Refuses to be held accountable. "Wize guys" for sure, ironic name because he lives up to it. read more
