Wow! This pizzeria is amazing! I love that it's family owned and they're the ones running the place...always happy to support small business owners. The pizza tasted so fresh and you can tell it's good quality pizza. Loved the dough and that's it's firm when you hold it. This was my first time trying pepperoni (since it was either made of beef or turkey)....I loved it! Have been craving it since the day I tried it. Definitely recommend you try it...sure you'll feel the same way about it. They use good quality products including the most important...REAL CHEESE! They also use plenty of it which I'm extremely grateful for. Their pizza probably tastes even better than the one I've tried in NY...so I guess Jersey is the one that really has the best pizza. No body there speaks English (only Spanish) which makes its hard to communicate to order or ask ant questions about the menu. Pizza was not the best. Very little watered down gravy. As an old Italian pizzeria owner from Newark I enjoy trying new places . Today I stopped by this pizzeria which is now named Fratell's . Well where to begin this may be the worst pizza I've ever tried . From the dough that was flat and salty , to the cheap greasy cheese . But the worst of all was the pizza sauce . First the lack of it was disappointing and the little on it had zero taste . I took a menu home and tried the pizza . I was also very disappointed that the menu said 2.50 a slice and was charged $3 paying cash as I did . It makes it hard if you have any questions or diet restrictions to communicate since everyone spoke Spanish . If I could give it zero stars I would . Just a bad pizza slice read more

Update to my review, I have ordered again because as I said the food is good. Ordered thru Grubhub, and the owner called me and said if I dont fix my review that he will cancel my order, which he did. I call Grub hub and explained to them the situation. How do you keep customers happy by doing that, threatening them. Very poor business practices, very poor attitude. I personally will not be ordering from them again there are plenty pizza places around. So many people raved about the cheese on their pizza so I decided to try it out. I ordered a pineapple pizza for pickup, and it was made very quickly. I got a call 15-20 minutes after ordering telling me it was ready. Staff was really nice too. The pizza itself wasn't bad, didn't notice anything different in their cheese though. It was about $14 total, so prices are on par with the rest of the places in the area. Would order from here again. read more

Perhaps it was a bad night before they closed. We order some pick up and the food really wasn't that good. We ordered the vegetable slices and spaghetti with meatball. The vegetable slices were super old, dry and overcooked. The spaghetti sauce tasted worse than the pasta sauce that comes from the jar and the spaghetti were super soggy. The meatballs was decent. Overall perhaps they had a bad night and because it was near closing but I wouldn't go out of my way for this one read more

I'm not one to write reviews myself, but I have never in my life had an experience like this! I had a bit of a sore throat, and my coworkers were ordering out, so I got the chicken noodle soup. It was $3.25, so I expected something made from scratch. It's not a hard dish to make. When the soup was given to me at work, it looked a little too familiar - they gave me Campbell's chicken noodle in a new carton - talk about cutting corners! I WISH I could post a picture! I ordered here ONCE a few years ago and I have not done so since. Their pizza is terrible, not real pizza at all! It's literally all crust- very doughy, dry and barely has any sauce or cheese. When I called in an order for delivery, the guy that took my order asked, "Do you have cash or are you going to tip the driver on the credit card?" Who asks a customer that?? The audacity! My father has owned a few pizzerias, so when he heard that, he asked how are these people still in business?? Oh but wait, it gets better. The delivery guy saved my number in his personal phone and attempted to pick me up via text and Facebook. There is definitely something different about the cheese in the pizza. It's definitely mozzarella but the only way I can think of describing it is that it's softer or maybe creamier than the standard cheese on pizza.its definitely better. They also have really good specials on their menu. For $22.95 you got one large pie, one antipasto salad and a chicken part with ziti dinner. The antipasto was actually really good. Oh my gawd! This place has not disappointed me yet. The 1st time I tasted their pizza i was transported back to the 80's when pizza was PIZZA. The cheese they use makes all the difference, and their marinara is rockin. You can taste the basil in the marinara. The portions size for the price is pretty decent. You get what you pay for. So, I guess that confirms that they have pretty good pizza. The place is cozy with about five tables. Looks like they do much of their business with take out and delivery. TRY.THEIR.PLATTERS!!!! I come here every time Im in the area because the Pizza is great. The owner and his sons, Ive met 2 of them, are very passionate about the cheese. It sounds funny but with pizza that is extremely important. The father is super nice. You can tell he's a good person and the other people that work there a very friendly. Now with that being said. Really enjoy this pizza place when we are craving a traditional cheese pizza. You can seriously taste the difference in the cheese they use compared to other pizza places in the area. It is the only item I recommend at this location (out of what I have tried). We order the penne vodka alot although its not traditional vodka sauce. My boyfriend enjoys it, but it definately is not a vodka sauce. Tastes more like a butternut squash base sauce and it is more liquidity than creamy. I had read about the Chicken Platter online and decided to try it. I had never had a chicken platter before that I could remember and this was delicious. The sauce, which is made in house, complimented the chicken, lettuce and rice perfectly. For a little kick and more flavor I added some hot sauce. My gym partner and I met Moe at Planet Fitness and after our workout, we were referred by him to go to "4 Sons' Pizza" to try out their protein salad ... We made a stop afterward to recharge (lol). Well, can I say that it felt great to walk into a welcoming, friendly & clean place. The protein salad was AMAZING, it was a combination of green salad, onion, tomato, shredded chicken, shredded mozzarella cheese and tuna fish. The serving is good for two people and the price is affordable. Very disappointing. Pizza was greasy and wings were too hot to eat. Soda was not delivered. When I called to complain they said this was how their wings were and they would not do anything about the wings. Wings were totally overpriced too. I wouldn't have been so annoyed if I hadn't asked for mild on the phone when ordering and the man taking the order said to try them I would like them. Will not be ordering from there again.
